Hidden gem on Brunswick street!
This bakery ticks all the boxes, but for starters, their pies are top class. We ordered the steak & red wine pie along with the chicken & white wine pie. They were both perfect - flaky with tender & flavourful meat. The accompanying sauce was a really tasty spicy chutney that really went well with it.
The carrot cake was delicious especially the icing which also had a generous serving of walnuts. The ‘must order’ is the lemon tart which was out of this world and actually the reason we came here in the first place.
What pleased me just as much as how delicious it all was, was the the massive portions. They did not skimp on the slices and do not charge near what other places would for the quantity & quality they offer.
Amazing value & quality. I will be back here for sure!

I can't say I know too many Eastern European cafes but this place is definitely a hidden gem on the streets of Fitzroy.
Delicious dumplings, we got a mixture of the two options available. Would definitely recommend the mushroom one, bursted with flavour and freshness and served with a generous dollop of sour cream.
I don't know how I have lived a life without ricotta pancakes, but I'm sure glad that they've entered my life now. Had a great texture, soft centre yet crispy outer edges. Homemade berry syrup drizzled on top cut through the richness of the pancakes. Wasn't too sweet at all which pleased my tastebuds. The only complaint I would raise was my stomach which didn't agree with the cheese (might be the lack toes intol the rants). The mind was willing, but the body was too feeble and weak.
Despite what previous reviews have stated, I was surprised to find the service to be welcoming and friendly the day I visited. I'll definitely be back to try their borscht and lemon tart that others have been raving about.
Note: this review is based on my visit a month ago.

I love their vanilla slice with fresh strawberries.
Loaded with a heavy layer of icing sugar.
My sister showed me this cafe years ago and I’ve always stopped to get this take away when I’m around Brunswick st.
Other items can be a bit too sweet but great with coffee or tea.
M. F.
Best Bakery in Melbourne always has been best breakfast and the green pickles the best too.
I’ve been coming to Babka for over 20 years you can guarantee a superb experience love the atmosphere and fresh open middle central doorway, which lets the open air in....it’s wonderful 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟♥️

Lovely Babkas has a outdooor dining policy that peercludes sitting with coffee and yoir dog. Takeaway containers only and wooden cutlery saving the plant fir the sake of crockery. Such a shame one of my favourite places for 20plus years not an option with my dog anymore. Sasha is so kind about it but makrsx a ifference to the enjoyment of one of the best and most consistently good venies in Fitzroy. Maybe I will bring my own utensiles and cup next te.
A. D.
Delectable homemade style cakes to enjoy with a beverage.
They have a breakfast and lunch menu but we were there just for cakes and a drink.
Had the Vanilla Bean Baked Cheesecake and Pecan Honey Tart. The cheesecake was soft and not too dense and not overly sweet too. Just right. The Pecan Honey Tart was definitely a star though. The consistency and sweetness was just right and the crust was absolutely amazing. I’ll return just for the crust.
Great spot, will most definitely return to try their other menu items like their Lemon Tart and chocolate mud cake.
W. Y.
Cakes are absolutely huge and wonderful. My favourite is the chocolate cake- just such a light but rich in flavour home-style dessert. Lemon tart and pecan pies are also both good but I personally find them a little sweet (hubby loved them tho). Service is a bit of a hit and miss so be prepared.

The Pelmeni here are mind blowingly good. Perfect combination of salt, vinegar, and spice. The lemon tart here also has this amazing brûlée topping that provides it a really compelling texture.
The coffee for the few times I’ve been here however has been burnt. Most of the staff here are lovely but the attitude of some staff members here should definitely be worked on.
A. A.
Love the pies at Babka, especially the lamb and apricot! Take away is definitely cheaper when it comes to pies, but it’s also just nice to hang out on Brunswick Rd and have a lunch sitting outside.
M.
Just WOW! It's one of the most underrated cafes in Melbourne.
Swung by to grab some of their pastries, went inside with 0 expectation. Interior wise, it was fairly standard. Small, cosy and ageless. I liked how they kept it simple unlike other "trendy" cafes in Fitzroy. Cashier recommended lemon tart and lamb pie so I grabbed them both.
They were both friken amazing. It was the best lemon tart I've ever had in my life. All the zinginess immediately hits you with the first bite. Literally eye opening. It kept the perfect balance of creaminess. Just perfect with a cup of coffee. They also bruleed the top slightly to make it crunchy on the outside which was a beautiful touch.
Didn't expect much from their lamb pie at first. It's just a pie in the end. But damn, I was mad wrong. I don't know what kind of sorcery they pulled in the kitchen but it was unbelieveable delicious.
I'm 1000% visiting again in a few days.

That was quite lovely actually. The kranksy and sauerkraut roll and mocha was perfect
P. E.
The service is great, the breads are out of this world. My cheeky monkey had tomato and cheese croissant and I had the Russian dumpling. They kindly let me have a mixed plate so I can try both and I really really like the mushroom dumpling, the potato ones I liked less. It’s just my personal preference, carbs on carbs it’s a bit much, although along with the dumplings they do give me freshly baked bread and butter too, and those carbs I love 😂😂😂
Also bought the lemon tart and chocolate babka home. Really love the lemon tart but found the chocolate babka
M. B. M.
my favourite bakery and cafe where they have the best lemon tart and vegetable loaf in town! monthly i have to go for a tart hit and stock up on the bread. everything is baked fresh on the premise and the cafe serves great meals as well.
R. W.
Best bakery cafe, with a Russian flavour.
Popular breads for which there is a steady stream of customers, plus cakes, tarts, and home made preserves.
Eat in & enjoy an extensive eastern European menu including a signature borscht with bread.
D. C.
Will never stop loving this stalwart remnant of old bohemian Brunswick Street. To sit, sip & eat amid the clatter and clutter is to feel the warmth of home.
W. Z.
Busy on the weekend. Tried 3 different pieces of cakes, cheese cake tastes good. the vanilla slice with strawberry is beautiful! Light creamy and not too sweet. One of the best I had so far.
O. S.
Very busy cafe with a decent coffee and pastries. Everything tastes good but not ground breaking. With the Russian name and style - they rarely have Russian items in the menu.
S. I.
Classic old school European bakery and cafe! Also top 5 almond croissants in the city among all the other traditional breads and pastries you crave.
J. L.
Who says you have to stick to breakfast food at breakfast time?! Came to a bakery thinking I'll have bread or pastry until I discovered that the Russian-inspired menu is available all day. Defied convention and ordered the Siberian lamb dumplings in a soy broth with chilli and silverbeet. On a cold morning, this hearty and comforting dish warmed the insides from the first mouthful. The salty broth was balanced by a little kick from the chilli, lamb filling and vegetable.
They also served two slices of just baked bread and butter before the dumplings arrived. Soft and fresh as you would imagine from a bakery, they made my mouth happy.
Take a seat to enjoy the friendly and helpful service or grab an artisan loaf and some accompanying jams/marmalade to enjoy at home. So glad I came to visit.

5 stars for the chai 😌
I can only speak for the chai because we didn’t try anything else, but it was the crème de la crème 💕
The staff seemed busy but were really friendly, contrary to some of the other reviews.
This café had a nice homey ambience and I feel is perfect to sit in on a cold rainy day.
Will be back to try a few other things with the chixxxx.
C. T.
Came here today for some coffee, but did not expect to have such fantastic cakes. The vanilla slice was crispy, and the cream not too sweet and laden with strawberries. Must have been made this morning- very impressed with how fresh it was. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the coffee was perfect. Definitely will come again.
W. W.
Enjoyed their peacan tart, especially the crust. The flourless orange cake was average. Came here at 4pm, so majority of the items were sold out.

Manager Ravi is a good person. He always look after his customer in professionally manners. All dishes are fresh and delicious. All the best guys
T. M.
This is a good bakery with a great range of breads and pastries. I have dined in a few times and the experience is always good. Yesterday I had a BLT on casalinga which had a mayonnaise with what I thought tasted like dill. It was simple but delicious. I have previously had their Beef, Red wine and Mushroom pie which is also really good. My girlfriend had the Russian Blintzes which she thought were delicious. We keep returning to buy our bread and try other things on their menu. The staff have always been friendly in our experience.
E. C.
Join the queue if you would like to have a take away. You can have a seat and wait to be served if you would like to dine in. The bakery get busy when it is packed so you would have to wait a while. We had lemon tart (a little too sweet) and pecans tart.
A. C.
Enjoyed our brunch here. Very unassuming place but great menu with huge range with eastern European influence. Really loved the corn fritters and lemon tart and chai latte (chai latte is huge) . Great for takeaway bread too
I. M.
Staff are so lovely. Great coffe and croissants
H. G.
Their signature babka is one of the best sweets in Melbourne. Great accompaniment for a coffee.
C. 1.
Cute little cafe with a selection of breads, sweet and savoury breads, pastries, and pies etc to take home. You can also eat in and order from their menu. I had one of the best sandwiches here! Staff are friendly and everything looks yummy and presented beautifully. I especially love their fruit loaf. I have it for breakfast YUMMY! Also, if you’re just looking for a nice coffee and cake experience scrumptious cakes are on selection.
M.
Lemon tart is one is the best I've had! The staff are very friendly. Such a quaint cafe!
C. W.
I have been here many times, and have always loved the food, bread and sweet treats from this place. But today's service was truly dreadful. The staff member who took our order was impatient and very rude, and we waited 30 mins for our sandwiches. I had to go in and ask for them again. It truly is a shame, it costs nothing to be nice.
J. C.
It's a wonderful place. Always happy to go for breakfast. Babka has the best ricotta hot cakes in Melbourne!!. I can't wait for covid-19 restrictions to stop, so I will treat myself to visit my favourite place for breakfast.
A. C.
Great pie and staff were ok with us, it’s a friendly neighbourhood hangout.
S.
Cosy Great cafe. Must try the Homemade and delicious Almond croissant.
A. S.
One Dad and three kids, had a burger each and a centre bowl off chip, accompanied by two shared milk shakes.
A taste fest, and a shared moment we all enjoyed.
Try the garlic aioli with chip.
We'll be back.
R. M.
One of the best pies in Melbourne . Proper homemade with huge chunks of meat and delicious gravy
j. f.
Order a cake today for my daughters birthday, and the wonderful team at Badka went out of there way to make it happen, 29 minutes before closing , diary free and then delivered it themselves to the location (as my planned pick up wasn't going to get it there) ........... Now That's Service.
E. T.
adore the cosy vibes of this cafe, I look forward to coming back
K. M.
I love the food here but the service leaves a lot to be desired! Seriously, they have so many young staff who just do not care. I have gone in there and waited a few minutes to be served while the girl out the front was texting next to the coffee machine. If there are no customers, maybe but don't keep a customer waiting so that you can text! I have also waited for some of the girls to finish their conversation for 5 minutes before they bother to serve me! So unprofessional. When I worked in hospitality, I never used my phone at work. If it was quiet, I would clean or do other things. And talking is fine, but you talk when there are no customers. Your conversation doesn't take priority over customer service when you are being paid to serve customers, not to chat. These people are just lazy and don't care and no one seems to be supervising them? The last time I went, the customer service was shocking. I just wanted a sausage roll to take away so I asked for one. I was told there was none left. That is fine, no worries. So I asked what they do have left. They pointed to the board and said "list of pies is on the board". I said ok but what out of the list is actually available and what is not (sausage rolls were still up there). Kept pointing at the board. From my perspective, I didn't want them to list all the pies, I just wanted to know if there were any other pies listed on the board that were not available. Otherwise, I could choose something else from the board only to find out it wasn't available like the sausage rolls. Eventually after asking about 4 times and the staff treating me like an idiot/getting annoyed with me for doing so I finally got the answer of: "everything on the board except for the sausage rolls is available" how hard was that? I just didn't want to have to chose things then be told they weren't available several times. I just wanted to know what was and wasn't available in the first place so I could make my decision! I love the food as I said, but I hope the manager realises what a big staff problem they have and fixes it soon! Even good food won't sustain a business long term if the customer service is bad.
J. X.
These croissants were the best Rowan has ever had!!
A. S.
Their lemon tart is to die for!!
J. C.
Great Russian bakery. Love the selection, coffee and treats. They also helped me out with vital wheat gluten. A hard to find ingredient in most food retailers. Thanks!
B. P.
A staple of Brunswick St for my family and myself. The only Lemon tart that brings a smile to our faces because it brings back beautiful memories of when my wife and I were living and dating in Carlton. Always great sound, smells and service, even on the busiest of days. It's been 10 years and we always love dropping in for a coffee and a slice when we're near.
E. B.
Great coffee in a one size bed not cup.
Beef pie was very nice.
My wife had the scrambled eggs which were good.
There was a queue to buy the bread and cakes which I will understand.
Had to wait 5 minutes for a table.
Service was fast and friendly (other reviews said the waitresses were unfriendly but we did not find this).
Not five stars because it was cold. It was freezing outside and everyone sitting down kept their warm jacket on.
Would I come back? - Yes I would return.
K. C.
Amazing inner-north bakery! Everything at this place is amazing,.
K. M.
My friend has been there a few times and recommended it. Well let me tell u, it was worth the trip. I had Delicious corn fritters, avocado, chilli jam and also ordered a poached egg. The 2 different toasted bread was devine as well. I have to say it was the best coffee ever.. my friend had the pancakes with ricotta and berries. Again delicious. We finished up splitting an escargot pastry and another coffee. The incredible assortment of cakes and breads were amazing.. reasonable priced at about $25 each..
It a small place with about 12 tables... its worth the wait..
J.
Love this place. Very cozy and very nice cakes. Love the bread too, definitely recommend you to give the bread a try. Have also bought the jam from there a few times ... Go in and have a look at their cakes ! Try the hotcakes too.
C. W.
Delicious almond croissant and the best chai latte I’ve had. Was full of flavour and spices!!
C. T.
Had a late breakfast here after a night out. Is small and cozy, and very busy, however the staff are amazing and do a wonderful job of accommodating everyone. The food was fantastic! The bread especially is so fresh and delicious. Highly recommended a visit here.
H. R.
Great eating experience. Homemade tastes, high quality meals with Eastern -European flavour. Traditional Borscht to Cabbage Rolls. Delicious hand made sandwiches. Hand made properly and professionally prepared array of other well got together interesting dishes Service Prices are too cheap for the quality that’s served. Bakery is a Melbourne icon. Top tasty spot for breakfast lunch or a snack hole of awesome proportions
M. C.
What a fantastic bakery to visit. From their exotic breads to their wonderful cake creations made from fresh they have something there to impress everyone. The choices on their all day breakfast (from 7:00am to 6:00pm) are wonderful and creative and will satisfy every palate. The lemon tart is my favorite cake there with its beautiful texture and lemony tang its a winner. This is a must visit but be careful its always full!
F. Y.
I dream of Babka's babka, almond croissants and their fresh sandwiches.
A. S.
Really excellent bread and pastries. They know what they are doing. Coffee also excellent. Service is ok.
A. R.
Ordered a herb omelette which was way overcooked. So much so, it was tough to chew. Some of the staff there are lovely. However the one grumpy woman that has worked there forever spoils the cheerful attitude of the other staff members. The cakes and bread are where it's at here. The lemon tart is effing delicious. The babka experience is much improved if you get your order as takeaway.
J. C.
Amazing flowers all over the shop, roses, lupins, jonquils, and this place also serves great eastern European favourites, such as borscht, or dumplings. I had the dumplings with mushrooms in one and pine nut cheesiness in the other. It was served with sour cream and dill, perfect for a cold wet day in November. The mushroom dumpling was a little bland, but I had it with the dolls so it was fine. The pin nut dumplings were very flavorful.
M. F.
Sasha this is amazing! We just enjoyed an amazing meal of a selection of vegetarian pies and pasties and they were absolutely delicious! Thank you so much :)
J. S.
Sasha made a fabulous carrot and walnut cake for my partners birthday. It was the best carrot cake we have had. Thanks again - we will be back!
R. M.
Mixed feelings about this place. To be fair, the bread and cakes are top quality and delicious but the service is, in my experience, always sour. Never an ‘hello’ or ‘how are you?’ nor even a « can I help you?’. Usually just a curt « yes » or an abrupt lift of the chin. I don’t know why the women here are so unfriendly and devoid of any pleasant service culture. I always feel that they are reluctantly doing me a favour.
J. R.
Every bit as good as it was 20 years ago. A casalinga that you can't get enough of, and a lemon tart that you might wage war for. Sasha who runs/owns the place remains a wonderful and charismatic character who takes pride in keeping one of Melbourne's iconic eateries/bakeries at the top of its game. Absolutely love it.
Q. M.
If you weren't looking for Babka, you could miss it. This unassuming cafe and bakery on the north end of Brunswick Street serves my underrepresented (in Melbourne) Eastern European breakfast and lunch date, plus sweets. They serve all my favourite dishes from this cuisine including pierogies, borchst and of course, babka. Prices have risen over the past few years but are still fair, as food is wholesome and serves are large. Basically everything comes with the housemade bread. This is a great spot to healthy-ish comfort food or coffee - especially as temperatures drop.
T. S.
amazing little cafe. the chicken casalinga sandwich has this herb mayo on it that even my friend that hates mayo agrees that it is the most delicious thing ever! we have started calling it the "chicken crack sandwich" as we just cant get enough! i find myself licking the mayo off the paper the sandwich comes in :P also the sausage rolls are amazing but in high demand - you cant get one after about 2pm cause they sell out. comes with an awesome tomato relish which makes my taste buds dance. to top it all off the lemon tart is probably the best i have ever had! so decadent, if you have ordered the sandwich or sausage roll as well you might want to share it or have some to take home as its a meal on its own! best! there were some previous reviews saying that the staff were rude and not cheerful. i have to say as a regular customer this appears to have been addressed with the staff as i cant remember the last time i went in there and they didnt have a smile on their face. A+++ will eat again :D
J. C.
Great service, unbelievable cakes and cookies and bread to take home!!
This has to be my favourite cafe in Fitzroy, unpretentious, cozy and good coffee.
However coffee always needs to be accompanies by a cookie or a cake and their baked on premises selection is worth a try and a take home package too!!
Just plain and simply awesome!!
D. K.
The best lemon tart in Melbourne
C. T.
Babka is perfect in everyway and has an excellent atmostphere and very reasonably priced. The french toast is divine, the sandwiches are freshly made, the lemon tart is THE BEST and the pies and are delicious. I don't think you can go wrong ordering.
G. B.
A Melbourne institution. Great pastries (raisin escargots, pain au chocolat) and cakes (lemon tarte and also the toffee pecan tart and did I mention the plum cake?) and breads.
Everything here is delicious and I’ve been going here for 15 years!
Delicious savoury too items such as the beetroot soup and also the homemade beans and mushrooms. Yum!
a.
Babka is one of the unsung greats of Brunswick Street. Consistently good food and the bread is very good too. service with a smile, prices are reasonable too.
S. T.
Have been meaning for years to come to this establishment. However, was a bit disappointed not to get any Russian food.
They bake bread as well. Took a loaf of amazing multigrain with me
F. A.
Amazing fancy sausage roll. Great music. Wanted to shazam some slow soul jam from the 90s and this stunning girl came with the artist and song name written on a piece of paper after seeing me struggle with my phone. That's how attentive the people at this place are.
M. W.
I saw many people taking away their cakes, so would like to try. However, the cheese cake was quite average. But the staff was pretty nice!
A. H.
The Casalinga loaf is a household staple the croissants incredible, the almond croisssants can't be beaten in Melbourne....so, all in all, I don't mind a visit at all
M. C.
Good selection of cakes and pastries as well as bread. They do not have a slicer and they have breakfast as well as Russian food
M. T.
One of my favourite cake shops in Melbourne. This place is not to be missed and with no exception serves beautiful quality product with excellent flavour and style. A classic Melbourne institution!
P. J.
Always great polish food.
A. H.
Food is AMAZING but holy smokes the attitudes of the staff is appalling. All i wanted was a coffee and croissant and i was made to feel like the scum of society. Babka's saving grace is the food. Tip to the owner, hire some true down to earth people that relate to the 90% of the "Normal" people that frequent Brunswick st.
B. C.
Go for the wonderful bread, cakes and reasonable food prices.
Best time to go is mid week when there's no "latte tourists" from the suburbs.
Don't go for service of any kind, staff don't seem to want to be there half the time, especially on weekends.
D. K.
Sensational pies - and served well as a lunch dish not just by themselves. Lovely warm and inviting atmosphere. Rest of the menu looks great. Can’t wait to come back!
L. T.
Love visiting Babka for a meal or takeaway. Sandwiches are so tasty, as are the pies with kasoundi! Make sure you take home a loaf of bread as well, my favourite is the Wholemeal Sunflower Seed :)
A. H.
always fantastic lemon tart and tarte tatin with great bread a d outstanding blinis
P. A.
Great fresh cakes and good coffee.
a. k.
One of my fav places for Polish dumplings and their breads are good as well.
A. F.
CLOSED! Please update your opening hours….so disappointing.
K. R.
Small and cosy cafe with very delicious lime tart! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy but we still managed to grab a table. Good service!
r. t.
Just tried the coffee and the almond croissant , it was just out of the world.. Will surely visit again. Eatables on display looked yummy I am sure they are yummy
S. C. (.
Cakes are yum, Chai Latte/tea delicious, sourdough is a great 'take home'; pleasant, welcoming and caring staff :-) always enjoy my time at Babka.
T. E.
The self absorbed staff kept to themselves, forgot our order, then came out with a lipstick stained coffee mug after a 20 minute wait. Food was OK buy service left a sour taste in my mouth. Give it a miss, better options along the street.
t. t.
Excellent Casalinga Chicken and Cucumber sandwiches. The best I've ever tasted and has not changed since I last visited 10 years ago. Well done!
J. G.
Best Danishes and baked products in Melbourne. I've been a loyal fan for over twenty years. Babka never changes and never compromises.
C. a. W. P.
Babka!
What a wonderful time capsule but with all the Brunswick street vibe and modernity!
Delicious bread, delectable pastries, to die for cakes and coffee [provided you order a strong one] and a delightful, homely feel, bursting with the tastes and scents of middle Europe, the most spectacular floral display on any day or at time of the year, and, indeed, the most agreeable, approachable and loveable owner, Sasha, who will always find a moment to chat with you, in spite of the hectic bustle, in this tiny but big-in-style-and-cosiness establishment.
We cannot go through Winter without Babka's stunning "Borsh" or their unique pies and pasties, above all, just being there wrapped in the smells and sounds of the visually accessible kitchen-bakery just behind the serving counter and the alluring bread display.
Apropos the staff, only a couple tend to be inclined to suggest a kind of aloofness which is nothing more than their youthful shyness and the intensity with which they conduct themselves as accomplished Babka girls. You have to give them a second chance and allow them to be themselves. And, anyway, the quality of the product on offer in this cafe/bakery speaks for itself, whether you get a smiling waitress or a grumpy one.
It's the one place in Brunswick street where you go back for more and more and more... And what about the marmalades and jams and relishes and.. and.. and.....
Yum!
M. M.
As good as it gets. Pastries are the best in Melbourne. Fresh great value home style European food with exceptional coffee.
E. S.
Great Croissants,Pies&food&coffee in Melbourne.I love Sasha. She is a great lady.Very friendly and helpful.
If you are in Melbourne worth the trip.
R. K.
Delicious bakery, eat in or take away. Open til late afternoon on Sundays, perfect venue for a late breakfast at 3pm. Friendly staff. Personal fave Nomnomnommm.
M. L. F.
One statement that sums up this cafe: Excellent quality food and very poor service. We have been visiting this cafe for many years yet the staff consistently have a bad attitude. A let down given the food quality is good.
F. R.
I call ahead for sandwiches and the staff and great on the phone and always get the order right. Very generous cake servings. Tasty loaves.
M. H.
Best citron tart and orange and almond cake in Melbourne in my opinion
A. R.
I love their pies - delicious. Friendly service and quality food - can’t ask for more than that.
S. T.
Freshly baked breads. Babka was delicious and warm. Beef sandwich was so fresh.
D. R.
Always friendly and helpful in here. Yes it can be a little busy and the layout for waiting isn't ideal. But friendly staff make up for this as does decent prices and the amazing lemon tart!
K. J.
Sasha and the team at Babka are beautiful. Always looking after the community and the people. And just quietly, the best croissants going round Melbourne.
E. C.
Best croissants in Melbourne. They're buttery, flakey, and perfect. Once you've tried them you won't find others satisfying
L. H.
An iconic bakery. Beautiful fresh bread. Includes a very popular cafe with Russian-style dishes. Always busy
G. M.
Still one of the best bakeries in Melbourne. Their escargot is the benchmark.
M. C.
An excellent bakery cafe with a surprisingly good selection of dishes on the Specials Board for lunch. Relaxed, easy going place with good service.
P. B.
Amazing bread, sweets and meals. Their sandwiches are epic and I find it really tough to leave without getting shoefly buns/pecan tart or a millefuille takeaway :)
T. O.
I've always adored babka. Specifically the almond croissants. All my time in France and not one place could equal babkas
C. B.
Absolutely outstanding. The almond croissants are fantastic, the coffee great, the staff lovely. Strongly recommend!
D. T.
I love the ice chocolate and love babka
review by Hetty 🥮🥳
I love the BLT’s and the cake and babka by Arthur
G. R.
Great food and coffee with plenty of freshly baked bread and pastries. Sit inside or out or take some with you. Staff are friendly and helpful.
P. R.
Best one yet, definitely worth a visit. Cheers!
C. R.
Lovely bread etc, but what is it about buying a loaf of bread that would make the sales person so angry? Been a loyal customer for nearly 20 years, that’ll learn me.
J. S.
Top quality coffee and cake
T. A.
Beautiful cakes! Had the choclate mud for my 18th birthday perfect size to feed a lot and very rich in flavour!
