Wow, great. Picked up the Philly Cheese steak and a cinnamon roll. Both exceptional and fresh tasting. Ham and cheese crossiont fairly average though. Good customer service. Would go back for sure. Take away only, unfortunately no dine in.

Absolutely delicious - I’ve tried near everything here and head my warning: you NEED to get the confit garlic and cheese sourdough loaf, it is off the charts! Their bread in general is 11/10 and their pastries are amazing. Personally recommend their cinnamon scrolls, almond croissants, Mississippi mud pie and jam donuts!

Went on Saturday afternoon. Bought 2 cakes. Just delish!! The New York cheesecake is so fluffy, surprisingly not dense or heavy at all. The pastel cake is another heavenly creation, pastry, dulce de leche and buttercream, phenomenal! Will definitely come back to try all the other savoury and sweet delights

Curried lentil pumpkin halloumi pastie is amazing. They make the puff pastry I’ve ever had! Coffee is always great. Pistachio cream croissant is delicious too. Can’t wait to try it all!!

Honestly I don’t believe you can go wrong with any item from this incredible bakery. Lines are usually out the door so prepare for a bit of a wait but I assure you it will be completely worth it! Stand outs were definitely the key lime pie and the vanilla slice donut. Insanely good! My partner asks if we can go back constantly 😂

We drove 40mins cause we were after a good bakery. We definitely found it. The line was outside the door so we knew things had to be good. The beef pie was really yum. The pastry was so fluffy and beautifully textured and the flavours in the meat balanced beautifully. We also had the sausage rolls (both char-siu and beef sausage rolls). The beef was amazing. The char-siu was still nice. Beautifully Asian inspired flavours too. Then because our eyes are bigger than our stomachs we got cakes, and all I can say is “We didn’t regret a single bite”. We loved it here and would happily return. And just as an added (weird) point, I especially loved the take away containers. Usually bakeries give you a cardboard box in a paper bag and everything turns soggy, but not at CandiED bakery. Everything was fresh and still tasty throughout the day.

This place is making me poor. The line is long but it moves fast, my only complaint is your rushed through before you can properly take time to pick something, which has made me pick a couple things I didn't really enjoy. They do creamy/custard desserts really well. A Layered cake wasn't my fave, I had one pie that I didn't like too much, however the banoffee pie was incredible. I'll probably try everything then stick to my faves

Well this place is something else. I have never eaten better goods from a bakery that spead across both sweet & savoury. They have it sussed at this place. It's by no means the cheapest but once you taste it you'll appreciate it's a more than reasonable price considering the pallet pleasure you get from the taste of their food. I particularly like the beef pies and vanilla slice doughnut. Hands down the new #1 in Australia in my book anyways

So good! Went for lunch with a group after our yoga class on a Saturday. Got a table inside without too much trouble. There was a constant stream of people queueing at the counter to buy their delicious goodies the whole time we were there but the queue moves quickly because the staff have a really good system going. Really good food, coffee, cakes and bread. Great staff. Basic but comfortable seating. The key lime pie was divine!

An excellent choice with a top quality selection and friendly attentive service. I particularly liked the Halloumi pastie as a vegetarian option. Coffee was perfectly done to taste, it's pointless trying to find a better coffee nearby, it was so good. Blew $30 here and have no regrets. It's pretty special.

Easily the best quality bakery and patisserie in Melbourne. The is bread is phenomenal, the danishes & croissants are sooo good, and you’ve got to try their Easter and Christmas delights! There is always a line out the front of Candied....and that really says something! It is well worth the wait. Don't worry, they are super efficient, and before you know it, you will get served. The longest I've waited out front was perhaps 5 mins....I just chuck some Alice in Chains on, and by the time a song is finished, I'm at the front. The pastries and cakes are so unique and amongst the best I have ever had. The sourdough is fabulous, and even after a few days in your cupboard (if it lasts that long), it makes the best bread to mop up soup with. I wont use big foodie/critic words, but I used to work in a bakery for a few years, so I know how good bread should taste. You can trust my opinion. I'll definitely keep coming here as long and often as I can.

Update Dec 2021: The carrot cake AND the triple milk are to die for (especially the triple milk) I cannot recommend them high enough! Tried the Philly Cheese steak for the first time too and the ingredients were amazing(especially the bread and the steak) but needed a bit more seasoning. Really good bread and baked goods! Make sure you try the meat pies and the sausage rolls but the sweet pastry is as good the sour stuff. They also do some funky organic items and dairy goods and the menu and prices are attached to this review so have a look.

The cakes are soooo good! Good size portions and at a reasonable price. I got the carrot cake which was exactly how a carrot cake should be, light, fluffy, moist. The icing was soft and the right amount of sweetness. You can really taste the key lime in the key lime pie, the texture was so fluffy and light, it is super sweet but that is to be expected for such a pie! Do yourself a favor and get the pecan pie, it was definitely the best out of an awesome bunch! They were moreish and decadent that I was able to share each slice with a lucky other! I’m looking for add to trying the savory items next time! Well worth a visit even from the other side of town!

There's often a little line out the front in peak periods, but it moves quickly, and speaks volumes of the goodness that awaits! My go-to is the cinnamon scroll, *drool* but I'm partial to anything in the cabinet. Candied Bakery rises above the rest; it has lots of soul and the service is always top.

Hungover and desperately needed food. Staff were lovely when I had a mental blank on what sauce was. Food was great! Pork sausage roll, great. Beef pie, great. Weighed about half a kilo. Veggie pastie with lentils and stuff was great by all accounts. Chicken and corn pie was good, but I’d eaten a fair bit by this point and it had gone a little cold. Toastier called “the mousetrap” looked amazing, I was told it was one of the best toastier my partner had ever had. Didn’t give out the little plastic sauce squeezies, which I like. Save the dolphins and turtles. Instead the server popped some sauce in an espresso cup for me to take away 👍 Good food, first time there. Will go back. Will recommend.

Updated review after going back a couple of times for the love of food of course, a sour taste has being left due to rather slow if not very slow service and when matter is raised one is frowned upon or they adopt and offensive approach. Customer service does not stop at the product, customer liasing wether it be a positive engagement or not needs to be addressed correctly.
