OMG the savoury sausage rolls are too die for. Coffee is sensational, cakes, cookies, slices always walked away with a smile and a full belly 🤤 people behind the counter are so friendly and warm too.

I dislike giving negative reviews, I have stopped here on several occasions as it's a good stop point when riding motorcycles... Unfortunately the coffee is very poor and can only wish that this review may change that.. the food was and always is fine.

Absolute gem of a bakery. We dropped in for a quick lunch. We bought the meat pie, sausage roll, veg pastie, and vanilla slice. The pastry on the pie, sausage roll and pastie was great. No soft or soggy or chewy bits, how pastry should be. The sausage roll pastry was nicely laminated but not overly oily. The spices in the savouries were good, not over the top and is complimented by a bit of tomato sauce. The vanilla slice was good, but not amazing. The pastry was a bit softer and not crispy. The fondant was also a bit wet and sticky which made it a bit messier than usual to eat. The vanilla was nicely flavoured and was a good texture, it was not gelatinous/jelly or overly cream like. I reckon it'd be a good slice on a better day, so we'll be going back!

Great country bakery with great service to match. Only 4 stars but only because I didn't have more time to check out their wide selection. - but what I saw looked "delish". What variety I was brave enough to take home went down a treat with the family. A good place for you to check out.

Great place, everything you'd hope for in a little hills town bakery. Very friendly service. I had the French vanilla slice, a sausage roll and we took home some hot cross buns and a loaf of rye bread. It was all great quality, freshly made and delicious! Perfect place to eat after a trip on Puffing Billy

This is a tiny bakery that is set back from the other shops. Whenever I come up this way, it's always doing a good trade with the locals. I however, haven't really found it to be exceptional. It's not bad, just not as good as the many I've found around the Dandenongs. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Prices are reasonable. Not many places to sit outside. Kid friendly. Wheelchair friendly. Reasonably good parking.

Despite some recent reviews saying the quality has declined in recent times, my partner and I still enjoy this bakery. The coffee is good (not inner city standard but good). The bread is great and the vanilla slices are out of this world. We make the trip down from Emerald as we prefer this to our local bakery

Really clean and well presented shop, great range of cakes, pies and sandwich options. Rate their shepherds pie as one of the best ive had, meat was tasty and potato was fluffy with a crunchy top. Would happily drive 45min again just to come here for lunch

Amazing selections of all things bakery treats and eats. Over two days tired little cakes, tarts, doughnuts, hand made rolls, pies, pasties and even their baked cheesecake! If in town, check them out. Served by Rachel on the Sunday. She is very sweet and delightful lady and topped off the experience at gembrook bakery beautifully. Will be back, every time I'm passing through.

Reasonably priced with an awesome selection. The pull apart loaf was more cheese then bread and it was soft and tasty. I highly recommend a visit if you love pies. Fantastic!
