C. A.We we're greeted to a heartfelt kalimera (good morning) and after ordering the person entertained my bad greek practice. The koulouri and tyropita were great, very fresh and delicious. All in all a very pleasant experience. Prices weren't cheap but it was worth it!

S.What an absolute neighbourhood gem! Just off the main strip of shops in the heart of Melbourne's Greek Community Precinct, Oakleigh, you find Greek Bakery. With the fresh aroma's of the baked products you are sure to find something delightful to snack on, or take back with you and have with a coffee.
The hits on the menu are the 'Spanakopita' which is spinach and cheese pie and the 'Tiropita' which is the cheese pie. Both taste exactly how you would find them overseas, with fresh ingredients, filo pastry which is not dry but crunchy and incredibly well priced. You will be hard pressed to find such an incredible bakery like this across Melbourne.
The staff are friendly, relaxed and bilingual if are you speaking Greek and English.
Be in early but, as they do sell out, they are often baking more, but not everything may be there!
