Joy Cupcakes are the BEST! We ordered in May for my daughters 18th and covid lock down came again, so we had to postpone. This happened numerous times, and the staff were so kind and accommodating, absolutely love these ladies. Finally we got them and they were delicious, so much so that we ordered again for my other daughters birthday weeks later. Every body enjoyed them and kept coming back for more!

Delicious, fresh & beautifully presented. Black Forest cake parcel was a hit with my partner for recent (2nd!) birthday during lockdown ;-( Delivered promptly, safely & without hassle. This is a slice taken on our daily allowed walk ;-) I've previously ordered a bunch of cupcakes for my eye-surgeon & staff, after they looked after me so kindly, also during lockdown surgery cancellations etc. Lovely range of GF options & flavours for many tastes - again delivered during reasonable hours, quickly, fresh & all were delighted.

Lovely cupcakes that look cute but most importantly, taste great! The winter special Sticky Date with mandarin is amazing. Salted Caramel on chocolate cake and lemon meringue are other family favourites.

I was so sad to see their Doncaster store close, everytime my family & I would go there we would always buy cupcakes on the way out. I think this is the best cup cake in the town, they make all their curds and preserves in house using with only real fruit. Their buttercream is so soft and smooth, unlike another cup cake so sugary. My favor is rose & pistachio.

I have been buying JOY Cupcakes for every special occasion for almost three years. I was also sending them to my friends during lockdown and they loved them too! They are hands down the best Cupcakes in Melbourne in my opinion.

Joy Cupcakes are something I’ve been consuming for several years. I love that they’re made of all natural ingredients and flavours. They are light, airy and just the right size. The icing is soft and fluffy and nothing tastes sugary. The delicate flavours are why I go there. As for people making negative comments about the size and structure of the cakes, please remember the cupcakes are made of natural ingredients. When you don’t use a fake stabiliser in cooking, for structural reasons you can only make smaller products. As for the cost, these cupcakes are individually baked and iced by hand. and use only natural ingredients. It is not the company’s fault that natural ingredients cost more than fake and human labour costs money. Personally, I’d rather pay a little more for quality products made with passion. I like that I can’t see or taste any difference between the vegan and non-vegan cupcakes. It’s broadened my thinking and willingness to try vegan products. I would recommend anybody try these lovely, light, flavoursome cupcakes with their melt in the mouth creamy icing.

Joy cupcakes were amazing and I loved the chocolate marshmallow flavour. Although, the red velvet I wasn't a massive fan of because it did not taste that well. I also really liked the lemon meringue it was delicious. In conclusion, I think that Joy cupcakes is amazing.

Beautiful vegan options. They have 3 animal friendly (dairy free, egg free) cupcakes, all of which are superb. If they had a bigger selection I'd probably have to live here.

Seriously delightful cupcakes. I couldn’t believe the red velvet has no food colouring (none of their products do) as food colouring is carcinogenic! The red velvet colour is completely natural from beetroot. Heaven is Joy Cupcakes 🧁! One is never enough.... but maybe that’s just me. Thanks Team Joy!

LOVE LOVE LOVE their cupcakes! About time I gave them this review since I have been going there for the past 3 years. Your cupcakes are delicious and it's so enjoyable because it is not sickeningly sweet! I have tried all other cupcake joints and they are not as nice as Joy's!

Food: I loved these cute little cupcakes. They are small, but light, moist and full of flavour. I enjoyed all the different choices and the lady behind the counter was making batches while we were there too which emphasised how fresh these cupcakes must be. I particulary liked the chocolate and marshmallow cupcake. Atmosphere/service: It's more of a takeaway place, although there are a few small tables, and they were very welcoming when we said we wanted to sit it. Service was great, and I liked the little touches with presentation, such as the cake forks. Would I recommend it: Totally! Their adorable cupcakes are scrumptious, and they change the flavours each day so you can always come back and get something different.

Cupcakes are really nice, not quite as nice as Cupcake Central but still very good. They have mini and normal cupcakes but only sell Gluten Free options in full size which can be a bit annoying when organising an afternoon tea or something. Lovely presentation and helpful staff.

I am not a fan of cupcakes but, Joy is probably an exception. Their cupcakes are delicious. Until now I was not aware that they sold coffee too. Coffee tasted better than many other regular cafes in the city.

My kids and I go every Friday to the South Melbourne Markets for our JOY. It is the most JOYFUL day of the week. Service is always lovely, the girls are familiar with us now 😉 Cupcakes are incredible and it's become a ritual we will hold on to as long as we can. We take our own container in too, more sustainable and saves their beautiful boxes for those who need to have them presented nicely, they don't last long enough for us to need one 🤣 Thanks for bringing us JOY xx
