I would give a higher rating if I could! The cake was absolutely beautiful, moist and light and fluffy! What made it even extra special for us is the fact that Penny is such a kind and compassionate person who went out of the way to accommodate this order when our order elsewhere was cancelled a day before my friend's baby shower. I am so glad that it happened! Thanks again Penny and I am surely coming back in the future!

Such a great bakery and cafe! Beautifully presented with great, friendly service. The owner was very involved in serving customers which I love to see. On this occasion we tried a cinnamon scroll and an apple turnover which were amazing to the last bite. Apart from those there was a wide variety of cakes, slices, tarts, and some yummy-looking Greek treats. They also had savoury items like pies, sandwiches, etc. Their coffee was great as well and on that day was serviced with a small chunk of cake though I’m not sure if this happens everyday. Will be back!!!

Penny created my daughters' first holy communion cake and stunning does not begin to describe. It looked absolutely beautiful and tasted divine. Very reasonably prices as well. Penny was also extremely patient with us as we had a few cancellations due to COVID. I can not recommend Miss Penny cakes enough for any special occasion cake.

Always exploring I popped in to @MissPennyCakes for lunch (when not in lockdown) and of course some sweet treats to takeaway. I chose a yummy chicken pie and also a spinach, feta and sundried tomato tart which was lovely for lunch on a sunny day. There's a range of Greek cakes and pastry items I've never seen before so I chose a selection for takeaway. I really enjoyed each and every one, different, unique and so so tasty! My favourite was the filo pastry triangle filled with custard which was light, crunchy and sumptuous. I'm not a fan of semolina cake but this version just had me coming back for more. A lovely syrup covered it but happy it wasn't too sweet. Can't go past the yoyo - 2 sponge discs sandwiching a lovely filling. 10/10 for customer service, I was made to feel welcome the moment I walked through the door. My coffee was perfect and came with a little piece of brownie that was delicious. I also ordered a piece of baklava that was huge and the best I've ever tasted.

We first tasted Miss Penny's cakes at a friends 30th Birthday. And, we were in complete awe of the quality of the taste. We ordered a taste box and OMG!!! Too delicious!!! So, we ordered our little girls 1st birthday cake which was a red velvet with butter cream. All I can say is, the quality of taste of your cakes - are so delicious! Beautiful cake shop. They have authentic Greek pies and a range of cakes and the made to order birthday cakes are gorgeous! This one was for my daughters birthday kids loved it as did the adults 👌

Stuck in isolation and saw the vanilla slice on Instagram. I knew I needed some to share with friends who are also in lockdown. It didn’t disappoint! The slice Is literally one the best I’ve had. Pastry was incredible but the custard was so delicious. Great service and delivery, contactless and safe of course. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Extremely happy with our beautiful winged unicorn birthday cake. It was delicious and fresh and superbly decorated. It also really made the day of the birthday girl who sadly couldn’t have a party because of lockdown. Penny was also lovely and easy to communicate with. Tastiest cake ever!! I ordered a very last minute wedding cake from Penny during Covid for our small amount of guests we were allowed and it was amazing! Presentation was beautiful and the raspberry and white chocolate filling! Just wish we had gotten an even bigger one for eating the following week! Thank you!

We ordered a wonderful cake for my daughter’s 12th birthday. I emailed Penny with our flavour and colour requests, and she created exactly what we’d asked for. She was also very accommodating allowing us to pick up the cake after hours because we couldn’t get there during work hours! We had so many comments about how wonderful the cake looked and it tasted even better. It’s a shame I don’t have more parties, because I’d be ordering them all the time!

We are so fortunate to have Miss Penny in our local area. This fabulous cafe caters for a broad range of demands on the skills of Penny and her staff. Miss Penny’s speciality cakes, as well as her baking for the cafe, are second to none. Morning/afternoon tea/brunch and light lunch are beautifully catered for. Staff are warm, engaged and just plain nice! Penny also bakes food to take home. We love her trays of spanakopita to take home for the freezer. Thank you Penny and your lovely team of staff.

They sometimes put a little tiny bit of cake on top of my coffee cup and that just makes my day. I mean I don't wanna sentence them to a lifetime of giving away free cake, I'm just saying they sometimes do. Don't be hassling them for free cake OK, that's not on. The coffee is great.
