Situated prominently in main street pakenham with quite ample of parking spaces nearby. Options of takeaway and dining inside or outside the café. Good variety of toaties. My family couldn’t fault any of them. I personally love the all cheese one. Savoury orders come with complimentary chips which we reckoned really nice. Coffee so so - not great but not too bad as well. Vegetarian options available but not sure about if they used halal certified meat. Great choices of slices, muffins and cakes. We will sure come back again.

We just moved to Pakenham and decided to have our brunch at this place. We would really like to thank Mesh for her hospitality and work ethic. She explained clearly and had a smile the whole time working. She should be promoted. Food was yummy and enjoyed the biscuit that came with the coffee.

Situated on the Main Street of Pakenham, the great Australian bakehouse has a vast variety of different baked goods and freshly made sandwiches and rolls. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Even during the peak lunchtime rush, you are served within a very reasonable amount of time. The food is fresh and delicious!

Unique: The Strata Lamb Toastie is best ! Gluten Free Cakes are next in my scope. Excellent service by cashier to recommend customer to go for the chicken corn pie when the chicken vegetables pies are unfortunately out of stock. The cashier deserves to be promoted with salary increase and give more shift hours. Guaranteed quickie service by the immaculately presented, neat, smiling waitresses with the Genius pairing of Creamy Latte with Surprise Free Biscuit for a Happy Finish. My coffee came in a flash. Atmosphere: Wooden country theme decorated with giant TV & Clean. Temperature is Climate Controlled. Lots of occupied seating space. Crowd: Locals and Tourists. Chinese & Caucasians. Place is packed full of people eating thus the food must be good. The food turnover rate is high thus the food must be fresh. If you don't like queuing, why not order takeaway and enjoy in the comfort of your home to binge watch movies? I give it 5 / 5 stars. I will return to try different items especially the gluten free cake & tea as they all look tasty. Friendly staff, yummy vegetarian options, appetising drinks! There are many options to choose from with a variety of hot drinks to refreshing fruit juices, soft drinks and more! The staff was absolutely lovely too! It’s not just a bakehouse but an all in one! Amazing service and definitely going back soon!

Good pies, good toasties cheese melted perfectly could use some salt pepper and butter. Staff are friendly although a little too keen. Were off getting my order whilst I was still ordering. Although toastie is good I don't think it's worth $8.50, pies are around 5 bucks good 420 for a sausage roll is too high. Especially since they charge extra for sauce

Everything is awesome here. Sweets are to die for, pies are always hot, bread is fresh and coffee is quick. There is such a wide variety of sweets like the best bite size lemon meringues or massive snot blocks. They have a bay Marie with hot pies, sausage rolls and fresh sandwiches. There is always fresh bread which you can buy as an uncut loaf or the staff will Slice it for you in a machine upon request. I have been visiting every few weeks throughout the lockdowns but can’t wait for lockdown to end so I can come past more often. Keep up the good work guys!!

This is a bakery that still makes a proper traditional Australian Curried Pie. They make all the other fancy ones too, but still the only ones in the area that makes a curried pie I like. They have Apple slices made traditionally too. And a neat thing is they have half a slice... so you can always get half an Apple slice and half a vanilla slice... best of both worlds without over doing it. Top that with friendly staff... we have a winner. This is my go to bakery in Pakenham!

Alrighty so here we go my first ever review. I have loved this place since i can remember. I would think of myself as a bit of pie enthusiast, the most pies i have had in a 7 day period is 24 pies. I moved to pakenham with my father when i was 12 and that is around the time i discovers the great australian bake house. When i was 16 i moved to horsham, this is when i started my hunt for the best pie. I moved back to pakenham when i was 21. Ive had pies all over Victoria and in my opinion this is the best pie you will ever find. I live in berwick now and often drive 10-15 minutes just to grab a pie. Worth every time.
