Fantastic bakery and lovely staff. Everyone working there was super lovely and really care about Warburton and the community. Genuinely impressed with a lot on offer! Had the ham, cheese and tomato toasted croissant which was delicious. Clearly quality ingredients. Also had a pie which was really good! Had coffee two days a row and was pleasantly surprised at how great it was! Would recommend stopping if you’re in the area

This bakery has earned a reputation for itself as having some fantastic sweet and savory treats. Their hot pies and baked goods seemed to be most popular, however a sausage roll is always my go to. It was delicious, not too much pastry to cause a mess, temperature was perfect and had a balanced taste. Would have been nice to have seen the full range behind the glass window, however they're doing the right thing and being covid safe.

Delicious pies. Absolutely crusty, and melted as I ate. 25 April 2021 - I don't mind riding again all the way to Warburton just for this pie. 🥧 The coffee ☕ is exactly the way I want it. Coffee is great, pies are legend - what else can you ask for?! Must come for a coffee and pie whenever you can - either passing through, staying for the night, or just a random drive out from Melbourne to enjoy it!

Quick stopover for a Sausage Roll breakfast and coffee after an early morning Sunrise without really expecting too much. But the rolls were really delicious and the coffee was wonderful. With quick and pleasant service, we'll definitely re-visit next time we're in the area

I'm giving 3 starts because of the current set up they have. Lining up to order while you can't see the products and then when you get to the counter you feel rushed to order but the glass is so dirty and the reflection of the sun makes it hard to see what's inside. The staff aren't very helpful and they're more worried about moving people on than actually serving. There are too many rules printed on the walls. Makes it not very welcoming.

Quaint little town 1.5hrs++ away from home. Fresh autumn air, bit busy place for campers & local tourists abound ... now that Covid restrictions are pretty much eased. Good toilet stop heading to Redwood Forest.

First visit. It was very nice bakery in this town. We bought mushroom steak and bacon pie as well as sausage pie. Taste was amazing. Not too salty nor too plain. Right amount of umami. Place doesnt have plenty seat, so takeaway is encouraged. Behind the shop there is a very nature scenery of yarra river habitat. A perfect spot to relax from city stress. Also there are duckies and birdes in and around the river. Will definetely return to this town.

I have been searching for the best coffee since moving to Melbourne a few months ago. I’ve had burnt, cold, scolding, 2/3rds foam for a flat white coffee, bitter, sweet (I don’t ask for sugar but seem to always get it) you name it and I have been given it…. But you guys made my absolute day today. THE ‘BEST’ coffee ☕️ I have had in years. I will be back, I don’t mind driving an hour or two for a decent coffee and some amazing countryside. Hubby said you guys have impeccable service too.

FOOD - Delicious fresh pies with very generous meat filling, delicious decent size hot coffee and lattes. COVID19 - COVID has made it difficult for all restaurants and this one is no different. Order and collection is very awkward for staff and gives them lots of extra work and managing of customers, however they manage it all very well and mostly with a smile on their face. STAFF ATTITUDE - 99% pleasant happy helpful staff but 1 woman in particular was miserable and speaks to customers as if she is doing them a favour SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES SO THAT THEY CAN SURVIVE DURING THIS SCAMDEMIC

Located at corner of Brett St (the bridge) and Warburton Highway. There are lots of parking along the river on Thomas Ave. It’s a convenient meeting spot. Coffee is nice. The prices of pies are around $5. They do serve something that only a very small number of Melbourne eateries do- the scallops pie for $7.50!! While I can get them everywhere in Tasmania, it’s a rarity in Melbourne! The other place I managed to get one is the Port Whelshpool General Store!!

After seeing a long queue driving past on my way to the Redwood Forest on a Thursday afternoon, I just knew I'd have to stop in on my way home. Only disappointment was how late I was so my options were limited. Was craving a mushroom pie but as they were sold out I bought a vegetable pastie and it was amazing!!! Lovely service, reasonably priced, will definitely try to get back one day for a pie.

Excellent food here for hungry rail trail riders. We had fresh chicken and salad rolls made up and then ate them on the seats by the Yarra river which runs behind the cafe. The chocolate brownies were especially delicious, my wife made me go back and get another one for later in the day.

Great sausage rolls. We always stop here for a pie and sausage roll on our way up to Mt Donna Buang where we travel about once a month to photograph birds and butterflies. The pies are pretty good and the sausage rolls are excellent - carrot for sweetness and lots of white pepper.
