I absolutely adore this gem of a place! My favourite is the lemon meringue pies! Just wish they could be open before the crack of dawn when I go past to bring my partner to airport so I could go more often. 🤣 It’s nice to be able to buy items in freezer as well. The prices are same as any other bakery while also catering to vegan & gluten free! The mushroom arancini has a nice nutty flavour and is perfectly crispy.

ALL is GLUTEN FREE (gf) and VEGAN. Has good selection of different pastries. I’ve tried vanilla slice and doughnuts. The doughnuts are like real gluten once, I haven’t felt the difference at all. Vanilla slice has good taste of cinnamon and good custard. I’ve got a muffin as well, wasn’t found of it hence could feel strong taste of potato starch. Otherwise it’s all perfect. I haven’t seen many gluten free and vegan places nor they are as good as this one. Try for yourself. Ps. For those saying these are ordinary doughnuts and all, yeas, they supposed to be, because when you swapping to gluten free and vegan, things don’t taste same as non gf/vegan. Great bakery and patisserie 🍞🥯 Vegan, gluten free and nut free and still beautiful, very tasty, yummy! Bread is made with buckwheat flour! With Darringtons you make sure everyone can enjoy some 😋

Love love loved this place, you wouldn't think it was vegan (I surprised my friend with this place). Their cherry Bakewell cake/tart and cinnamon donuts were amazing. It is quite hidden when you try turn into the place so just be aware/careful! 😄

The food is great and the service is excellent. The young person working when I visited was very kind and helpful, very genuine. It is as wonderful as it is rare to be able to order and eat freely without having to constantly check ingredients. I love that Darringtons is totally unpretentious and that the baked goods are all made from high quality natural food/ingredients- they are not based on and do not contain highly processed substitutions. My kids were ecstatic to be able to hae some bakery food to eat in King's Park

A wonderful bakery doing its very best to support coeliacs and vegans. The bread and pies are yummy. Spinach sausage rolls were handy for a quick Friday night dinner. Beware the location though: parking is very limited and if (like me) you miss the turn-off, you need to travel a fair way up the highway before you can safely turn around. It's right before the Graham Farmer on-ramp and not the easiest to access. But so worth it.

The best gluten free bakery ever! The tastiest breads,rolls, cakes,donuts, amazing croissants and incredible banana bread! Lots of frozen options for anyone who is on gluten free and vegan diet. I cannot express my gratitude to the Daringtons team starting from Zac and amazing baker who creates magic. I honestly don’t know what would I do without this bakery. My daughter is so happy and I am sure she gets all the best ingredients and amazing taste. The bread is so soft for days! My daughter lives on Daringtons Banana bread. Zac thank you so much for creating everything gluten free magical. And every time I come(weekly)they surprise me with new products. The coffee is also amazing! Thank you Zac! Thanks to your amazing baker too! Love love this place it is so warm and welcoming! So lucky to have this bakery in our city❤️

I love this bakery and have been supporting them since my partner told me about them. I'm very gluten intolerant (probably coeliac) so to have a bakery that's entirely gluten free and also vegan is amazing. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the recent inclusion of nuts in the cakes. This is fine, and I understand adding nuts allows for more variety in cakes and pastries. But as someone with a nut allergy I was disappointed to see pistachio on top of a lot of pastries that traditionally wouldn't have pistachio. Will still try my best to support this business and buy things I can eat ☺️

Great range of delicious vegan pastry goods! We tried the Shepard's pie, pulled jackfruit pie, Thai curry pie, and a quiche, our favorite was the Shepard's pie. Keen to try the pepper steak next time! The little ones sampled the donuts and on all accounts they were winners. Great, friendly service too. See you again soon!

Darringtons has been based out of the freemantle markets in the past and been a bit of a pain to get to before they sold out of stock. It was lovely to find a much closer option had been opened! I do so love their doughnuts! XD It's a bit tricky to find sometimes though. They have taken over a building that was previously the old strange grains bakery in leedervile. To get there go around the right side of the Airspace building seen on street veiw. Don't be afraid to venture down the alley to find them great baked treasure awaits!

Little gem. It’s not classy but it’s great food and really cheap. I got 3 doughnuts and 2 little cakes for a date with my daughter. I am well versed with the GF tax. The lot came to $8. I was honestly expecting him to say $20.

By chance I found Darringtons and I am so happy I did. They have really good gluten free food. Today I bought pumpkin bread and it's the best pumpkin bread I've ever eaten. The donuts are great too 🥰 I highly recommend this patisserie to anyone on a gluten free diet. Supporting small business is great especially when the food is so much better than the gf options from big stores.

Absolute blown away delicious and amazing doughnuts, eclairs, pies - all vegan, gluten free, dairy free. Tastes freaking fantastic and you don't feel sickened afterwards like if you ate conventional versions with full dairy fats. Highly recommended for guilt-free happiness.

*Updating my review since they've moved location and gone fully Vegan!* They have an awesome range of gluten free and vegan baked goods (savoury and sweet). The food is delicious and the staff were friendly . I really enjoy the donuts and the fruit flan ( like a custard tart with fruit on it). The quiches were pretty similar to non vegan quiche, and quite tasty. I'm looking forward to working my way through their full range.

I only tried a cinnamon donut and the vanilla slice. The donut was so good and tasted just like normal Donuts but the vanilla slice was the best one I have ever had even better than the gluten ones. Can't wait to try everything else.

Incredibly delicious- even though they're completely gluten free, dairy free, nut free, and vegan! They are now my go to for getting a fix for my sweet tooth- nowhere else does allergy friendly better. They also sell bulk frozen doughnuts, and their cannoli's and truffles are to die for. Well worth the little trip to Burswood and the price tag is perfectly reasonable for the products you get. Great friendly service too, I can highly recommend Darringtons!

On their reopening day I rushed down and furiously gorged myself on cinnamon donuts and vegan pies. It was not a pretty sight, but my word was it tasty. I highly recommend going down and grabbing some treats, because after years of intolerances and allergies we can forget what good quality, homemade bakery food is like. I’m feeling like a kid again!

Amazing place for people who are Gluten free or Vegan. All the food available is gluten free as well as vegan. The food does tend to sell out rather quickly though and does differ from the products available on their site. The store is also somewhat confusing to find if you don't know where you are going as there isn't much signage 😋. It would be amazing if these guys did delivery in the future!
