Love the selection of breads and baked goods the woodfired baker has! The sourdough is so delicious and has kept us returning time after time. They have coffee and drinks too. Great for a weekend morning stop to get coffee and bread.

The sourdough bread here is absolutely amazing. I don't think I've eaten so much bread in such a short period of time. I have used it to make sandwiches and thick toasts and it pairs really well with either! I also tried the salted caramel pistachio tart which was also beautifully done. Would recommend everyone to try their breads - I promise you'll love it!

I would like to give more stars because sometimes when we buy their items it can be yummy; pumpkin pie-delicious, carrot cake- very nice… lemon meringue pie- sadly the meringue was very gritty ( simple mistake, just not beaten enough.) their Turkish bread has been hit and miss., for a while now, maybe new baker? The staff are helpful, not their fault if products have not arrived in the store after they have opened. If they could tweak a few things I would be happy to give 4 stars, cafe still has potential 💞

Andrew puts love in to every single thing he makes. This is real, nutritious food, done in a traditional method, handed down from the original artisans. A loaf of bread is so hefty and fully of goodness, it's the best stuff ever! The pastries are off the charts and they do the best coffee on the Maylands strip. Nowhere else in Perth does what these guys do. They deserve way more credit than they get. Hope you never stop Andrew! RESPEKT

I really love this place, and it's worth noting the coffee they make is taken as seriously as the baked goods, which are some of the best around. A couple of my faves are the pork and fennel sausage rolls and the bostocks. I had to take a star off for the prices of ordinary things though - the cake and coffee are about average, but the bread will break the bank. it is very nice bread, so worth it if you have the cash to spare.

I'm Italian and I love good food. The bread understands that it is made with good quality flour and thanks to the wood fire cooking it has a different smell than what can be found in the rest of the city. When I buy bread, I take my breakfast and exchange a few words with the girls on the staff. very nice and friendly people. The croissants are special.

Ah scrumptious bread! A staple of many a diet. Currently my favourite baker. You won't find many better loaves, they make really good sourdough - and in rectangular prism format! (you know, in a tin) which is very rare, most people seem obsessed with making it as inconvenient as possible to slice into even amounts. They also serve it in blob form, which is equally delicious, but 5 stars for ergonomic and delicious options.

They make absolutely brilliant pastries (but never make enough of the blueberry ones) and the cheese and kale scones are worth killing for (honestly - it seemed a weird combo for a scone to me too, but try them mmmmmm).

Dropped into this cute little bakery after a recommendation. Did not dissapoint. My fiancee and I ordered a pork and fennel sausage roll, goats cheese and leek tart, a smoked ham ,cheese, bearnaise sause croissant, a chocolate brownie and two flat white coffee's. The food was delicious , brownie was light and not too dense and coffee was made well and did not taste bitter or burnt. Highly recommend this little jem.
