The beef brisket pie was incredible and very reasonably priced, definitely recommend. Also took home some potato and rosemary bread - delicious toasted with butter. The service was ok, as was the coffee. Importantly, it has puppy parking out the front!

Great food and coffee with wonderful customer service from Trixie, always being nice to me. Im sure I will become a regular and loyalty customer at this store.

My favorite bakery in Sydney💕 so glad they also have one nearby the place where I stayed that time.
I always go for the gorgeous pork sausage roll and amazing ginger crème brûlée tart, you’d never find any other places have those kind of brilliant foods!!

We just ate a meat pie and a chicken, sweet potato pie and Oh My Golly Gosh! Delicious. The staff are super friendly and the guy that makes the coffee behind the counter, Dereck I think, he is great. Awesome service!
We also purchased some takeaway pies and bread for a munch session late at night. Yum yummy.

Beautiful little cafe just far enough away from the bustle to be quiet. Food is great and so is the service. Can’t recommend enough

So nice to have Bourke Street Bakery back in Crick Avenue (just off Macleay St).
Always great coffee and their breads are wonderful. If you stick around for a bite to eat, you can’t go past a Pork sausage roll, they also have a good range of cakes etc, either eat in or take away.
Service is always smart, casual and professional with the bonus of a smile.
You have been missed guys, please stay this time and consider closing the fire trap at Harris Farm.

Great vibe, excellent coffee, great food! We just kept on ordering more and more things - avo, feta with a dash of pesto on sourdough (hovered that up right quick - too yummy), then ask the staff to recommend a sandwich and they gave us a bialy with salami, red cabbage and mayo (delicious), now have gone back in for a third serving of pastries plus another coffee! Sat outside under these beautiful trees. Definitely come check this place out! Didn’t take any photos cause the food disappeared too quickly! Enjoy!

Came here one Saturday night. Welcomed in by friendly staff. The waitress serving us was friendly and helpful when we had trouble deciding what on what to order. (I wanted to try everything!)
The food was excellent. My favorites were the sticky crab buns and the socca. The short beef ribs were very very tasty.
A little bit on the pricey side, but all paid for in presentation and great service.
I still need to go back (probably to the main one) to actually try the bread one day!

Came here today with my bro, really enjoy the vibe here.! Great coffee and the best beef pie in Sydney. We will come here more oten..!

The After Hours Menu is fresh and creatively delicious. We had the Grazing Menu so were surprised by the offering of each dish since we have no idea what we will be served. Even the marinated olives were good! Our favorite for the night were the Chick Pea Pancakes (who would have thought chickpea could be so tasty!), Bagels and the Chocolate Paddle Pops with a raspberry center coated in chocolate biscuit crumbs. Will definitely be back. After all the chef did promise something new the next time we visit.

Love the bread and the croissants but despite living next door I have to go to their Harris Farm Location when I want bread because they wont cut it here. You're a bakery, you should cut bread.

An absolute gem. If you're out and about in Potts Point it's the best place to stop for a drink and a snack. The lemonade is a must and all the pies are to die for. Actually pretty much everything is great. In particular the pear and rhubarb muffins, the quiches and the olive and cheese turnover. Only reason for four stars is that the coffee is a little bitter for my tastes.

The service was great however the muffin was very average. The best word to describe it would be soggy. My mate ordered a different muffin and it was crisp and freshly baked including a dusting of casting sugar or similar on top. When closely looked at the one I ordered had the same it had just been sitting around so long it was wet and soggy like the rest of the muffin. I don't mind paying a premium price if I'm getting a premium product. A day old muffin doesn't rate. Make sure whatever it is your getting is fresh otherwise duck around the road to the supermarket and buy stale product for half the price.

Friendly staff serving delicious food at very reasonable prices. Includes classic staples such as sausage rolls and meat pies, as well as a more extensive menu on the weekends. A favorite weekend spot for breakfast / brunch / lunch.

What sets this place apart is tremendous personal touch - too uncommon these days. The waitress placed her hand on my wife's shoulder - as the pair selected one of the fine loaves on offer. A wonderful selection of sandwiches - the portobello was a vegetarians delight - the sour dough bread with pepito seeds was exceptional. Genuine flavor in the Reuben and the Pulled Pork.
The desserts were exquisite - or so my wife and kids tell me. Between them they devoured a
Ginger brûlée, a Chocolate tart and a Strawberry meringue.
The coffee was strong and nutty - and with such an inviting atmosphere - we stayed for a second!
I cannot speak glowingly enough about the high quality of service in this bakery-cum-cafe. Impressive!

Good coffee, smaller space then what there used to be but you can take classes there now

I love Bourke Street Bakery and rave to people about it however, I bought sour dough bread this morning and it appears to me that it was not freshly baked this morning. I leave hours away and don't have the opportunity to return in person to find out what is going on. I have bought tons of bread before and it is always crunchy on the outside and chewy in the middle when it's fresh.I know how bread is the next day and what I bought this morning has the texture of day old bread. Are you selling yesterdays loaves and not telling anyone and making them pay full price? I also bought croissants and notice they don't have the usual darker colour with the beautiful crunch. What is going on? Have the recipes changed?

Amazing sourdough bread! Coffee is average but the pastries are amazing!

A new contender for best sandwich - the chicken on rye. A modest sandwich but I would still rate it alongside the brisket sandwich from Room 10 and Penny s cheese toastie. It's that good.
S. L.
Delicious delicious pies at a reasonable price. Was very busy on Sunday morning though, so expect a wait for your coffee and a long wait for kitchen food. Get a few pies instead. Yum.
F. M.
I LOVE this place. Not just because everything they sell tastes amazing, from soups, sandwiches, salads to pastries (oh the cream Brule tart...) but because the staff is ALWAYS so friendly, professional and I feel very welcome.

Food was good, took a little while to get, chocolate tart was amazing. They don’t make iced coffee fresh for you, have to get a small 300ml from the fridge

Bourke Street Bakery is a Sydney "institution". And judging by the line up out the door is evidence enough. located in Surry Hills - one of Sydney’s most artistically-vibrant neighbourhoods featuring a great mix of cafes and restaurants serving a wide variety of cooking styles and cultures. Dont miss this one even if the suburb has one of the highest concentrations of restaurants. Just wander along Crown Street and take your pick of cuisine. ytravel

Delicious sourdough with multiple varieties, sausage rolls, and avocado toast. The service was tremendous.

Amazing pies and sausage rolls. Please let me know when the relish is back in stock!

Best Bacon and Egg burgers, ever. Coffees good too. Staff are lovely

Perfect addition to the family with shady outdoor seating, yellow depression-canteen interior, and the always perfect pastries and bread. A siren call to the carb-phobic hipsters of Potts Point!
E. H.
Great pies, sausage rolls and a great hot chocolate. The iced coffees/mochas and chocolate milks are delicious.
T. B.
Great place. My only problem is sometimes the barista forgot my take out coffee and I had to remind him. But I can forgive that for how nice this place is.
T. S.
Good little breakfast place. Simple food done well and not over priced. Staff are also genuinely lovely.
J. B.
Great food. Great coffee. Friendly staff

Summer or winter, just sitting outdoors chomping into a pie and knocking back one of their coffees is just magic.
C. D.
It's alright. V.Popular for some reason. I think because they bake their own bread and pies which are admittedly pretty nice.
J. P.
Lovely basic bakery fair. Helpful, friendly staff. Plenty of space to sit and think.
