I love a good bakery and this is a great one!! I first tried it at an organic market at kings cross, and decided I have to visit the bakery the day after. Pretzels was done perfectly, and my favorite so far is the apple turnover. I haven't tried everything yet but I'm sure to be back.

Great place, their brioche is out of this world! I also can't get enough of their baked desserts like the almond croissant, Danishes and other sweet treats. Their super friendly staff is always ready to have a chat and recommend good picks!

This place has been a favourite for years. The most delicious bread, cakes and sandwiches. Top picks are their Spelt Loaf and the Fruit Loaf, your initial thoughts may be that the Fruit Loaf is expensive, then you cut it and see what’s inside, then you taste it and realise that it is an absolute bargain, you know straight away that you’ll be back for more and more, it’s only available at the weekend so order in advance, I do.

The best bakery in Sydney in my opinion. Consistent bread/pastries with the basics done perfectly. Doesn't have all the overly fancy breads which are "Instagram worthy" which are only nice to look at. Just high quality, tasty bread at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Lovely bakery and organic! They have a lot of different breads and their fruity bread is just one of my favorite bread in Sydney. Lot of fruits and nuts, covered of oats. Delicious!! The bretzels are also good! Cinnamon roll is excellent. I never tried their sandwiches but they look really good. The staff was not super friendly though.

I have many great things to say about this bakery. I am a loyal follower of their sourdough loafs (I've had their rye & whole-grain) which feature beautiful characteristics of a well crafted loaf. Crispy crust & soft, chewy crumb. Their sweets are also beautiful - their croissants are to die for also. They are so light, buttery and crispy. One can tell that they invest energy, efforts and love into their baked goods.

Great coffee in a cute little nook. The pastry offering is solid and full of old favourites. There’s a laid back feel to the place which is its appeal really- I’m perfectly welcome to sit and chill for as long as I please. Ok then, one more pastry I suppose.

Best bakery in Sydney and one of my favourite places to go to for a nice coffee and a delicisous snack. They make amazing bread, sandwiches, small cakes and more. Everything is made from scratch and they only use the best ingredients. I cant recommand any other place in Sydney!! The German owner is really passioned about baking and you can almost taste his hard work and his love for bread!!!

Amazing! The other day we ordered the foccacia, spelt bread and olive bread while we were locked up in hotel quarantine in Sydney in July. The focaccia was SO GOOD as was the olive bread. We haven't tried the spelt bread yet because the organic vegan butter didn't show up in our Woollies delivery but looking forward to trying it soon. Putting in our second order today for 3 focaccia breads. Hoping uber drivers aren't as precious as they were the other day

This place has both excellent bread and customer service. I ordered the veggie roll, but they burnt it a little on the top when heating it up (like the tiniest little burn). I told them not to worry about it, but they insisted we take a muffin and hot cross bun as an apology. All of which tasted great, even the veggie roll was still sublime! Highly recommend this place.

Bread is amazing, coffee is the best in the area and their ham and cheese croissant is probably the best I’ve ever had! The only reason I haven’t rated it 5 stars is the staff are often slow. The woman who regularly works as a barista is hands down the hardest working, often making coffee and serving people at the same time. The other staff seem to struggle with table service and managing the till. I must say the staff have got quicker but there is still improvement to be made. The owner should seriously consider installing “Hey You” to ensure people don’t waste time queuing up. Either way this is a great spot!

My wife and I are visiting from the United States and generally avoid gluten, so we got their gf tapioca loaf. It's probably the best gluten-free bread we've ever had - thick, hearty, moist, great texture, awesome crust, toasts well. We've paired it with various other food items: eggs, melted cheese, vegemite (which we both like, because we know how to eat it!) - this bread is truly magical. We can only imagine how good their other offerings are!

Excellent german quality - our favorite bakery. We lived in Manly Beach (now back to Germany) yet it was totally worth the drive to Paddington to enjoy the yummy stuff. Strongly recommended. And yes, you get what you pay for :)!

Everything was delicious. Maybe bring your own knife though because I think my finger was sharper than the one provided and the bread has a nice firm crust. We had both salmon dishes and although we were laughing about the struggle to get bite sizes and eventually had to opt to use our hands and tear chunks off with our mouths, we rated them both highly. So if you’re looking for Paleo this has the whole experience. In addition, the scones and fruit bun which are both overpriced are both super delicious.

I really love their Multigrain Sourdough loaf, the best I've had. I got a chance to try their spelt blueberry scone, which they were generous to offer as a complimentary gesture - out of this world! I was in a trans while experiencing this awesome scone! You definitely recommend both.

One of my favourite bakeries in Sydney. My go to favourites are the salami pretzel, tomato and olive tapenade and Waldorf chicken sandwiches! They also sell a variety of breads that they bake onsite. Definitely recommend to anyone!

If you like Infinity, Sonoma, or Brasserie Bread, this place beats them all on the flavour of their plain sourdough or light rye loaf, and it's baked on-premises (I've not tried the other assortment of breads, so can't comment). I've left Iggy's out of the list above because it's quite a different (but excellent) beast. There are a nice assortment of little cakes, interesting takes on the idea of a scone, foccacias, house-baked bikkies, sausage rolls, and house-made rolls filled with various toppings to whet your appetite. Croissant and Pain Chocolate (aka Chocolatine) are also very good. My girlfriend is a Parisian, and knows a thing or two about bread and pastries, and loves them! Makes for an easy bribe to be able to nick across the road to The Local Taphouse for a sneaky craft brew or two. If the Taphouse isn't open, the Organic Bread Bar has a barista who knows how to make a very good coffee.
