Sydney, Rozelle
Bread is really good, I like the rustic. Have to try their custard flan, lemon and fruit tarts, danish, brioche with creme diplomat etc. Strawberry mascarpone cake is great, pure exhilaration in taste and texture (Instagram is just eye candy without much thought to sensory perfection) So are the rhubarb and strawberry pies, just right and not too sweet like some other copies that I’ve tasted. Croissant is very good, could have continued with the buttery recipe of ten years ago. Overall, not to be missed.

This cute little French bakery offers a range of freshly baked breads, pastries, sweet & savoury tarts and cakes. People are in & out buying all the goodies and the popular items go fast. The baguette is crusty on the outside & soft inside & I couldnt help but to nibble on it straight after buying it - how French! The almond croissant had a lovely almond paste filling enclosed within a nice croissant. The fruit tarts look delectable & perfect for me as I don't like them too sweet. Flakey puff pastry base with a thin layer of custard and topped with seasonal fruits. I loved the tartness of the plum & apricot ones I chose. The quiches are also delicious - classic lorraine is cheesy & creamy tasting whilst the vegetarian option was sweeter with caramelised onions & roasted pumpkin as well as a pesto base topped with pinenuts. Would love to try the coconut & strawberry daiquoise & lemkn meringue next time. Very friendly service, not cheap & bakery has no seating but they also sell a small range of French cheeses & butter.

We had a mince tart and some Christmas bûches...
taste just as good as they look 😍
They are outstanding as always! Everything here is delicious
Staff is also very nice and friendly :)

Light and flaky when cold. The plain croissant was phenomenal after a few minutes in the oven at home.

Probably the best place to get French style pastries in Sydney. Only criticism is how cold it is in the store. The food is extremely cold. Pastries should be kept in a warm environment.

One of Sydney's best most authentic French boulangerie - amazing croissants! It is surprisingly difficult to get something as simple as a plain croissant right, but Victoire's are spot on - lovely flakey crispy shell, perfectly buttery and slightly chewy inside. Pain au chocolat are also great, but can be sold out quite early in the day.

Having worked there many years ago I was able to finish my studies and hold down a mortgage and I am most grateful! One of the best places around for amazing food and an amazing employer.

Incredible authentic French croissants. The owner is a lovely french lady (full french accent and all)! They have the bakery at the top of Darling Street in Rozelle before you turn onto Victoria Road and they also have a seriously cute van that they sell bread & croissants out of down on Darling in Balmain. You can taste that they are made fresh each day.

The best almond croissants in Sydney! Forget all those “professional” reviews of all the other places in Sydney! Their almond croissants are so moorish and not too hard like all the others
T. C.
Best French style bakery in Sydney

I agree...Victoire bakes the best bread in Sydney and their croissants are definitely NOT "undercooked"! Service always courteous and both the shop in Rozelle and the Citroen vintage van in Balmain a delight.

Turned up after 3pm dying for a sandwich and managed to score their last baguette sarnie. Really great sourdough bread, delicious veggie filling (not what I'd usually order) and very friendly service. I'll be back for something sweet next time I'm in the area.

Lemon Meringue Pie is the only thing I’ve had from it & it is out of this world. Very keen to try a lot more of everything.

The strawberry mascarpone cake is the best cake you can ever have in your whole life. Crunchy on the top & enriched with strawberries layers

Beautiful bakery, one of our favourite patisseries in Sydney. Try the palmier or almond croissants 🥐

Its very nice clean store that sells the bread that you would not find in stores like wollies or coles.

It's true, we have francophilia. It's a condition that we're born with. So of course we love Victoire's French divine morsels. A palmier may seem to be simple but a great palmier requires a lot of love and talent. We have the love and talent to recognise Victoire's palmier - great minds think alike! Madeleines also look simple enough but the best are fluffy with a crunchy, slightly burnt crust, plus the lemon scent. We ogle at everything and secretly wished to live at the patisserie permanently...

One of the best chocolate croissants i've EVER had

Delicious, soft & properly baked stuff..If you are visiting Victoria, don't forget to try Rustic & Sourdhuogh.. It tastes great & best thing is its perfectly baked..
Really hats off to the chefs..

Nice and cozy place, their parmierre is absolutely scrumptious. The best in the inner west.

Best place where you can buy freshly baked french bread that you can pair with your favorite coffee.
C. M.
delicious bread and croissant

Judging only on the Croissants. They seem a little undercooked. They make a flaky mess but the interior is heavy and doughy.
S. S.
Their almond croissants are so good that I even mention them on my Hinge profile.
N. J.
Their custard flan isnt the best one they got..
