Going Gourmet staff are fantastic, professional and dedicated to making our event a success. We celebrated a 50th birthday party, and a big thank you to Chef Owen, Nic and Katie who were just organised, and cooked everything to perfection. The serving of food by Katie was amazing and very friendly commented by all the guests. Nothing was left undone, food was cooked in a timely manner, fresh and ample of servings. Even though the winter weather prevailed, our catering team delivered exceptional service with smiling faces all night. Going Gourmet were the caterers for our wedding in March and we were so so happy with everything! We had a stand up cocktail style wedding reception and all of the food was fantastic. All of the guests absolutely loved the food, from the grazing table during the cocktail hour to the desserts. Even the tasting night was enjoyable and allowed us to try all of the foods that we wanted served at our event. The price of this catering service was very competitive, communication was always prompt and we have nothing but good things to say about Going Gourmet catering.

We had Going Gourmet cater our wedding (14/03/20) just outside of Daylesford and they were absolutely incredible! The property we got married at didn't have any kitchen or catering facilities yet Going Gourmet were able to provide everything needed to produce incredible food. We selected the cheese table, feasting menu and desserts and everything was a hit with our guests. Everyone spoke about how delicious all the options were, servings were very generous and great with dietary requirements. Communication leading up to our big day was fantastic with them being very accommodating with the tasting (as we live interstate). On the day they were wonderful in regularly checking to make sure everything was OK. When we need another event catered or have friends looking for their wedding, we would highly recommend Going Gourmet! Thank you for making our day absolutely perfect.

We had a super awesome experience with your team, they arrived right on time and the set up was very smooth and seamless. Once the food was cooked and prepared, presentation was impeccable but also very thoughtful and strategic for our space. We recently booked Going Gourmet for our daughters 21st Birthday Party at home. This was the first time we had booked caterers for an event so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. I was very impressed with the 3 staff that arrived on the night, they were punctual, organised, polite and professional. They were respectful of the kitchen and cleaned it within an inch of it's life afterwards. My husband and I got married at home on our property in Tipi Tents. We did everything ourselves and had Going Gourmet cater for us. They were absolutely amazing! The process of catering for 120 people was no stress at all. We had roaming canapés and feasting plates over 15 tables. Everyone at the wedding raved about the food and how much there was. Perfect Wedding - Going Gourmet did the catering for our wedding in November. The food was delicious, served on time and there was plenty to eat and drink. Going Gourmet catered for a post-wedding BBQ luncheon we held last weekend and we were absolutely thrilled with everything. The planning stages were made very easy with help and advice from Erica and Raschelle, and on the day itself the young man who was in charge was amazing ! They were very friendly and polite, never intrusive, and made a special point of looking after my guests with special dietary requirements. Starting off with canapes while we were having our pamper session followed by our main of 2 choices and sides. Desert was petite fours on plates to share.Our chef was Bryan and waitress was Cheryl. Very organised professional and lovely people. The food was magnificent and everyone had said how delicious everything was. On the day, the girls we hired to serve drinks at the bar were so friendly and lovely. Going Gourmet did a fabulous job with amazing gourmet cocktail food for my partner's birthday for 50 adults and 8 kids. We were served their food at a friend's birthday and loved it so much, we were sold when it came to deciding a caterer for our party. Not your average caterer by any means. They were very professional from the first phone contact until the end of the event and went the extra mile to exceed my expectations! Many of our guests have since commented on the premium quality and volume of the food served and I felt it certainly added to the success of the night. They particularly loved the calamari and mini hamburgers!! I loved the salmon roulade, gourmet pies and petit fours!! GG were extremely organised and everyone had plenty to eat. We also had one person with very restrictive food requirements and was assured by GG that she would be taken into account. On checking with her during the night, she had only praise for the way her restrictive diet was taken into account – she had plenty to eat and was made to feel very special. The kids were also delighted with their individual boxes of fish and chips. I have no hesitation in recommending GG and will use them again, given the chance. Can't wait to try their buffet!

Hired Going Gourmet for our engagement party. From the very first meeting where we had a tasting, they made everything so easy. The team showed up on time on the night, organised themselves and dealt with our 80 guests without any issues at all. Considering that we were catering for gluten intolerants, dairy intolerants, fructose intolerants and other fun dietary requirements (my own nut allergies!) and everyone LOVED the food and no one went hungry I can say they deliver really excellent service. My father’s 80th birthday party went perfectly and everyone commented on the wonderful food. Farhad did an amazing job and impressed us all! The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it – so we were all very satisfied. Farhad was really lovely and many people noticed how skilled and efficient he was. My mother loves to tell people about him! We have already recommended you to 2 people who are looking for caterers and will definitely use you again. Just got assigned my very first event and really needed to make an impression. Used Flight Centre for flights and transfers. EVERYTHING WENT WRONG!!! Stress from start to finish. Couldn't find my reviews on Going Gourmet but went with them anyway because of their quick response to my enquiry. Not to mention the flexibility in terms of menus. I can honestly say, they were my BEST decision. Boss and the guests are all happy. One or two items which we weren't a big fan of but was easily swapped for something else. The best way to describe them? They have never said NO to anything! HOpe that compensates for the mess Flight Centre made!

On the weekend we had our pre Xmas party that was actually our surprise wedding. GG were in on the surprise and were so attentive. From my first contact with them they were helpful, not pushy and made me feel so comfortable. They arrived on time and set up, they stopped for 30 mins so we could do the ceremony and then continued on. Alana was serving the drinks and she was so attentive with everyone . Chantelle and Stephanie were in the kitchen and were so quiet and efficient & just kept on bringing the delicious food out. it was amazing, I just could not recommend them highly enough. The cleanup was incredible the kitchen was spotless and they took their rubbish away which thrilled my husband beyond words :) Thanks again

Best catering service in Melbourne! The night was enjoyed by all and the food was a big hit. Among the favourites were the calamari, the steak hors d'oeuvres, arrancini and the risotto., Not to mention the kids loved their little dinner packs. Harry, Marco and Laura were all fantastic and very accommodating. We barely noticed they were there and before we knew it they had packed up and cleaned the kitchen. Overall fantastic food and service which we will highly recommend to our friends.
