Alekhya is very professional and courteous and takes care of your taste and choice.
The food is outstanding and it’s a treat to the taste bud. Her prices are reasonable and the quantity is very good.
I came from Sydney and had ordered from her for a special occasion and she made sure that I have best of the experience with Bengali cuisine.
To add on her cooking style is very homely, hence it’s light on tummy too.

I. M.We have tasted “Petuk Bangali” quite a few times at our friends’ place and was blown away and was thinking of trying them out ourselves. So when the opportunity came to organise a small gathering to introduce our newborn to our family and friends, we didn’t have to look anywhere else and contacted Alekhya.
The conversation we had to plan the menu was easy and comfortable and in no time we settled with a menu we all liked.
The food delivered was absolutely delicious. We had Barramundi Paturi wrapped in banana leaves covered in smashing flavourful mustard paste taking us back all home. Her signature dish Chhanar dalna was spot on. We also had egg devil which were just equally good. And last but not the least the gondhoraj chicken just stole the show.
The quality, quantity, deliciousness everything was spot on. I will recommend them to all if you want to travel back in time to taste those classic Kolkata foods here in Melbourne.

Dishes such as maacher matha diye dal, postor bora and gurer rosogolla, really took us back to kolkata. The chefs special mutton was a highlight. Everything was delivered excellently packed and organised. Loved the taste of it all.

D. K.I have used Petuk Bangali's catering service for my daughter's birthday. The staff's are really professional and made an excellent setup with warmers and labels giving it a nice aesthetic look. I selected Bengali cuisines for both vegetarian & non-veg meals. The food was a total hit and all my guests appraised the quality of it. The communications were prompt and clear and the best part is if you are not sure about some item Alekhya is providing you her expert opinion as chef. I changed my fish curry to 'shorshe bata' and all my guests loved it.
In a nutshell, Alekhya's Petuk Bangali is good for parties and has great value & professional staff. The foods are delicious and I will definitely call them for my next catering job.
