We had a bridal shower at The Refectory on a pop up picnic. It was a lovely experience on a beautiful day and Riley the restaurant manager was very helpful and made all things clear with us from start to finish and it all happened smoothly. Everyone was amazed by the set up, perfect place for a perfect weather. Food was also lovely and we enjoyed it. We will do it again and will not forget to mention to set up the umbrella ahead of time as they get so busy during the day but nevertheless all of the staff assisted to the best they could and everyone was happy. 100% recommending to friends.

Ordered two high tea hampers and a platter of sandwiches for a family birthday. Every single piece of food was delicious.the high tea hamper looks great with the tiered box. 100% recommend and worth every dollar. Lovely and helpful staff too. Thanks Refectory team.

This is a lovely old room with a fairly bland decorative aesthetic and too small a dance floor. It is surrounded by the magnificent gardens which lift the whole vibe. What made it great however was that the food was magnificent and the staff were truly fantastic. Better than any reception I have ever been to. Well done.

We had our wedding at The Refectory in November! It was the most perfect day! The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff were friendly and professional! Everything went perfectly, and our guests are still having about the food! Staff were very accommodating and happy to assist us however they could. As the venue is situated at the Werribee Mansion, the grounds were immaculate and really added to the venues ambience. We were so happy with how everything went and would happily recommend The Refectory for a wedding or special occasion!

Amazing venue inside the Werribee mansion hotel perfect for events. There is a nice outdoor garden which is then connected to hall that can be used to sit down dinner. A very good venue/ function space in the west. The food they serve is also delicious

Werribee Park is such a beautiful location but Bursaria at the Refectory makes it outstanding. The food and service was amazing and we felt like royalty the entire day. Guests cannot stop talking about the food- saying it was the best they had ever had at a wedding. The venue is so beautiful itself. The enclaves in the room were perfect for our photo booth, bomboniere table and gift table and the space looked full without looking cramped and also perfectly laid out for everyone to move easily and comfortably around. Venue coordinator Hollie was an absolute stand out who made our day run smoothly and was so helpful and understanding throughout the entire process- she was such a blessing!! We are so glad we chose this venue! We had such a wonderful day, I would absolutely recommend this venue to all!
