Such a cute spot for a pastry and coffee! Loved the beef massaman curry pie and almond croissant. Ops Manager Emma was just lovely and told us to be there early so we could see the full range of sweet wonders. They even had a Valentine's Day display with lots of gift options for that special someone.

Love the pies, lovely pastry, generously filled. Their pastries are well crafted. Great coffee- a good companion to their offerings. They take their craft seriously and it shows. You are in on a good thing at A&K @Croydon. I've also been to the city store and they have a great vibe going.

Red door left big shoes to fill! But they have been filled well. The small coffee take away container is not much bigger than a piccolo glass which was disappointing for my tea. My cronut was all I wanted and more.

Abbots and Kinney in Croydon is a nice addition to local cafes with a great range of sweet pastries, pies and fantastic coffee. I do not I think I have ever had a bad coffee from here, always on point. Their sweet pastries and pies are pretty good and I do like the fact they introduce something new from time to time, which is great if you are looking to try something new. Only minor feedback I have for Abbotts and Kinney is sometimes they are not consistent with the quality of the pastries they serve. Overtime I have noticed the almond croissant is not as good as used to be. Comparison to most places they are still great and much better, but not as good as they used to make them. I'm still going to go to this place as I still love it.

Pastries on offer are excellent quality and a huge variety. Can also get savoury ones like sausage rolls but they are more fancy than your regular bakery fare. A bit of seating in and outside with nice decor. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the coffee sizes are fairly small compared to any other cafe: their large size is a bit smaller than a normal medium, and their small is maybe 70% the size of a small.

Pastries and bread are amazing, the more exotic creations are good but I think the quality is most clearly demonstrated by the basics. Their plain croissant is always flaky with a crisp exterior and the flavour of a good quality butter. The sourdough is consistent and has a genuine sourness without being too overwhelming. Coffee is solid, the fact that they offer a batch brew is the USP in this strip of shops where, to be honest, it is hard to get a bad cup of coffee. Service is always friendly, and they are good at acknowledging regular patrons. Feeling lucky to have this as my local, especially when working from home more.

Went to this place today, and absolutely stellar. The A & K experience in Croydon is wonderful, with friendly, unpretentious staff, who are happy to chat, ply you with incredible coffee, and supply you with tasty pastries. Their outlet in Adelaide is closer for me, but will definitely be a Croydon customer anytime I pass by. Cannot recommemd this place enough!!

Only got a take away coffee and a pastry. The coffee was solid, not too hot hot or milky and the chocolate, berry and custard pastry was so good. I could've easily eaten at least one more. They are still practising social distancing, only allowing 1-2 customers inside at any one time

Great coffee and the pastry options are amazing! Fresh sour dough bread made daily is worth the stop on its own! Staff are very friendly also which is great. Also doing a good job with covid precautions!

Good for a quick in-and out coffee and a quick bite. Really needs to be made clear if it’s a bakery or a cafe. If you’re going to offer brunch I think the staff need to do table service. It was pretty unclear. Tables were clear of dishes but not wiped and when our table was cleaned, there was no offer of menu or coffees or anything. We pushed two tables together and only one was wiped down after we asked the staff to do it. Got the impression that the staff were inattentive and not trained properly. I’m all for employing young people, but not sure who was managing them? Wasn’t awful, just wasn’t that great. Better be wary of the competition down the street.
