I have been coming to fair espresso for years as the staff are lovely and always friendly as well. As I always enjoy my organic coffees whenever I come to the city as I always have to stop by and grab a coffee on my way for whatever reason I am in the city. Very quite and very cute shop as well. The food looks delicious as I will have to try something next time I am in the city

On my continued journey to try different coffee shops around the CBD. I stopped by Fair Espresso this morning, as I have walked past countless times and been tempted by the Vegan Toastie. I ordered a medium almond milk flat white and the vegan toastie. The coffee was pretty good and had a nice taste to it. I prefer stronger coffee's so next time I will order one with an extra shot. They use milk lab which is so good. The toastie was so damn good. The caramelized onion was the perfect touch. I really enjoyed the toastie and wish I had stopped in earlier to get one. I'll be back for sure

Haven’t visited in over a year. Change of owners? I had an organic hot choc with coconut milk and smashed avo on rye without fetta which took ages to serve. (I guess there were important things that popped up after taking my order- chit chat with other customers, sorting out the music etc-fair??) Food and drink average. Although aiming to please... this place seems to have lost its ‘all things ethical’ vibe.. a tad too expensive. Return visit highly unlikely.

Great little spot tucked down a laneway off of Rundle Mall. Serves only fair trade coffee, along with a whole range of snack and light meal options. Great service and really friendly staff. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Adelaide.

Good hot chocolate and mocha, friendly service. Alternative/hippy type vibe, so fair trade, soy options, that kind of thing. Not overpriced though. It's a pretty small place, so you feel like you're tucked away cosily but you might struggle to get a seat during busier times.

One of the best long blacks I've ever had. The depth of flavours was incredible. A beautifully sweet and balanced fruity coffee with raisin and strawberry icecream flavours.

been going to coffee places around adelaide for years and this place is one of the best places to get your coffee fix. its actually my go to when i tell people where to get good coffee because theyre so consistent. The good stuff comes from baristas, not the brand and these guys have always been top tier. The owner worked in the premier cafe/roaster of Adelaide at Coffee Barun back in the day before opening this shop and is highly respected by other respected establishments (ask the owner of Signature Coffee). If you get Matt, Alex or Bob as baristas then youre getting coffee made by the old crew, but ive never had a sub par cuppa even during rush hours and they also use bonsoy for those who are picky about their soy. If you havent been, definitely head down there and see for yourself and remember it next time you need a pick-me-up.

The dog's bollocks! For some reason most barista's can't make a decent non dairy latté or add syrup properly, but this place has it down! I order lattes, sometimes decaffeinated, with Coco Quench 'milk' and hazelnut syrup. Perfect. I love Cherry Darlings so having their pies available is a great vegan option. However I would love to be able to have a vegan toastie with fake cheese. Maybe tomato, Daiya and spinach? Pls :D
