They had a lovely batch brew from Brazil and an amazingly delicious filter coffee from Ethiopia. This is the first coffee shop I visit in Adelaide and I think it will be one of the best 👌🏼!

Great range of interesting coffee, and very reasonably priced. Also Fairtrade and organic. Some sweet snacks and a small range of savoury sandwiches. Single origin batch brews change frequently so you can try and learn what you like. Friendly staff!

My go to for coffee. They have a wide range of coffee beans freshly roasted and packed. The best thing about their beans is how well the they retain their freshness. The staff are helpful and coffee service is fast. Highly recommend them so give them a visit. Don’t let busy south road fool you, there’s rear parking accessible from a side street.

Very helpful staff, bought a new grinder and some coffee beans to go with it. Their De Lacy blend is amazing and is one of the best blends I've tried so far... sweet, with fruity and floral notes - makes for an excellent iced latte.

I dropped in for a coffee after hearing about their winning an award for "Australia's best coffee". The people running the shop were very friendly and humble about their win, and were keen to focus on their products rather than talk about themselves. I had a single origin Brazilian latte, and was very impressed with the quality and the price - $5 for a large. The coffee itself was well balanced across the whole palate, with enough bitterness without it dominating. The cafe was simple and uncluttered and was the sort of establishment that if be happy to frequent if I lived closer.

I appreciate that there several shops in Adl offering filter coffee and it seems that they are all quite devoted to handcrafted coffee. Was really impressed by the filter coffee and the filter beans are good. The only disappointing thing is the service of a female staff...she was a bit unwelcoming but anyway we helped ourselves

Picked up a machine and blender combo. Slightly cheaper could be had on the net but they threw in 2KG of beans a heap of extras, set up the machine, spent an hour teaching to make coffee my machine and I get 20% off beans. Just pulled a latte and it's by far the best I've had in Adelaide since getting one in store. Legends.

Great coffee but to charge a $1.50 surcharge for purchases under $10 is a bit steep. The surcharge was half the price of the coffee. I understand bank charges but I would expect to pay no more then $0.50

A great place for coffee and a great local business. If you are in Adelaide, come and support the locals. It is more than a cafe and if you are looking for a coffee machine of a new supplier of beans, come and try before you buy.

Consistently very good beans, and at a good price. I really like being able to sample an actual coffee rather than just smell the beans. We regularly buy beans from Rio Coffee at Stepney which is closer to where we live, but like to taste the different varieties at La Crema or at Perfect Cup in the Central Market Arcade when we get the opportunity. Staff will take time to answer questions and give advice, so service won't be as fast as a stand-alone cafe during busy periods. Reasonable prices for coffee machines - they stock home/office machines like Rancilio (Silvia and Rocky), Isomac (Tea and Millenium Duo), Expobar and Saeco (Via Venezia) and either have or can get in other machines like Vibiemme (Domobar), Wega (Mini Nova), La Marzocco, Nuova Simonelli, La San Marco, Mazzer and Gaia. At over $50 freight and several days delay to get a relatively delicate piece of equipment interstate and back for every service or repair job, I'd rather pay up to about 10% more to buy from a local supplier - but it would be nice if Tony could get the price of the machines closer to what you'd pay for them in Melbourne.

Always get my beans here. Used single origin Nicaraguan Rio Coco for the last eighteen months or so, but since tasting their lovely nutty house blend Compton St have changed to that for a while. Not sure about all these negative reviews. Their troll-like sarcastic vitriol really needs to be balanced by a bit of level-headedness to convince me of any genuine concerns.
