Had a great experience today. As far as fast food and drive through s go this joint is head and shoulders above the rest, drive thru moved fast, had amazing staff that lifted my spirits, the quality of food was amazing. The delicious vanilla slice had a point of difference I can’t quite put my finger on? The pepper steak pie had a very tasty filling , the pastry felt light and was this nice blend of crispy and flaky, it was just a really nicely balanced pie. I’ll be back again even if it is out of the way.

This roomy bakery has a wide range of bakery items for sale, baked fresh. My partner suggested this place because they advertised the Pie Floater, and although we live nowhere near here, he says it's worth the trip! Good coffee and friendly prompt service made this visit enjoyable. All Covid requirements were met.. ♿ 🅿 & ♿🚻 and disability friendly entrance.

We come through for coffees. Generally good can be too hot. Only real issue has been over heated soy milk, wait times when new people are on the machine during busy times? and being stuck behind people in the drive through lane. Have had a pretty poorly put together roll which was disappointing but the vanilla slice is great.

Clean and spacious, plenty of seating, good variety of comestibles, apart from baked goods. Two seating areas, one an enclosed veranda area can be a bit too cool or too humid despite the split system air-conditioning in that area. Also serves pie floater. Popular without lots of noisy kids, usually adults eating here, much quieter even when packed. Toilets and no child play area add to the quieter enjoyment.

Both myself and 10 year old Daughter each enjoyed some great pies and they were so good went halves in a sausage roll which i've gotta say was the best ever, highly recommended with a great atmosphere for a dine-in! AAA+++

Great place for a light meal and to sit back relaxing. Meet some friends there. Delicious salad sandwiches and tasty vegetable pasties. So good I take home ten at the time and freeze them for easy quick meals. Prices fresh bakery Hillcrest make the best pasties. 👍 Their salad sandwich are tasty to munch on on a warm or hot day. So refreshing. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The food is good, but the drive-through service is always awful. Slow order process, they always have to check if what you've ordered is available, and it usually isn't. Staff provide no feedback that your order had been understood correctly. Slow to transact and fill orders at the window. Avoid the inconvenience of the drive-through and just go in. The interior has two areas with tables and chairs, but not much in the way of character. It is for for purpose but not much beyond. The face to face service can vary from good to adequate. I feel that the people behind the counter are constantly getting in each others way. If it gets moderately busy, the stress levels of staff are palpable. It's hard to quantify, the food is worth the visit, but the vibe can be - strained. The ideal transaction is probably, go in during a quieter period, and get the food to take away. It's a shame, because I want this bakery to thrive, but I feel that all it can do at the moment is survive.
