This place has been a go to when we want a no fuss and good dessert. Tonight’s churros feast was a bit of a let down. Customer service and food are up to standard… however, tonight’s churros were halved the normal length. You can see it from the review before this one. Churros were short and warm.. it would be nicer when they’re longer and hot.

I’ve dined that all of the St Louis cafes in Adelaide and this is by far my favorite. The customer service is on point , the effort in presentation of beverages and food is noticeable and the oil used for the churros doesn’t smell and is obviously changed regularly. Great to see a business which takes pride in what it serves to its customers.

Delicious offerings. I had the signature hot chocolate in dark chocolate (if you need gluten free remind them to not give you a marshmallow). I also had passion fruit sorbet, strawberry ice cream and chocolate ice cream. The scoops were enormous so I shared. (If you want to get several flavours ask them to put it in a box and plan to share!) Very yummy. Would definitely go again.

It's a good place for hanging out with friends. Lovely and tasty desserts there can make your day perfect, especially after a long hours working day. It was quite cold outside on the day I was there, but the store will offer you a blanket. The weather doesn't matter to enjoy these worthy desserts.

Dropping in for some dessert. The space is nice and staff are friendly. Highly recommend the St. Louis's, St. Louis ice cream flavour. Loved the waffle was dipped in warm nutella. Other than the sorbet tasting more creamy and less 'icy'. The ice cream scoops were inconsistent as you can see from the picture. Not that I'm complaining.

St Louis House of Fine Ice Cream and Desserts in North Adelaide has amazing ice cream. We've been here a few times and the ice cream is the best. They also have an indulgent dessert selection that incorporates their ice cream. My favourite by far is the ice cream sandwich with macarons for shells.

Food and beverages selection is good. Service was friendly but slow, given it wasn't that busy. (football yet to finish) Ordering process needs improvement. Our order was split as the person behind the counter wouldn't take our food + drinks order as they were under age.* Consequently we then waited another 5 minutes to place a separate drinks order. *Liquor licensing allows minors to take orders, but not serve.

I cane here this evening, with a date (unspecified gender) to purchase a decadent hot chocolate. The service we received was excellent, however upon leaving, we were asked if we would like a marshmallow. Naturally we accepted. Here's where things take a turn for the worse, I feel violated. I was handed a white marshmallow while my date was handed a pink one. - this is unacceptable and deeply offensive. Never in all my time have I had my gender assumed so blatantly. It's 2021 and I can identify however I want. My date was in tears and I spent the rest of the night consoling it. Please be more considerate in future dealings, customers of all genders have feelings presumably. I like the decor though, and the hot chocolate was tasty. Would have given 3.5, but the review allows between 3 and 4, and it wasn't quite a 4. Thank you and good day, Bill

They do have bar style stools to wait on but I recommend they improve seating especially outdoors with heaters in winter. A sophisticated looking cafe in a great location. On a Monday morning the visit was necessitated by the lack of coffee shops open at the time. The coffee was speedy to come and tasty to boot. Worth a wander up the hill from Adelaide Oval after the footy or the cricket.

Visited here with family and friends on a rainy Sunday afternoon after a vote of hands decided it was not the time to eat at O'Connell Bakery (insert crying emoji). As a patron who sampled only a few of the cakes on the table, it became clear to me that maybe I should not have bought Burgastronomy but opted for a sweeter conclusion to the charming Spring day. Our group sat at a corner table and surrounded by books, ornaments, a cookie jar and a general vibe that gave us the feeling of comfort as though we were at a loved ones house for a cup of tea and cake. An experience of a random nature that all of us enjoyed.

Archies cookies crunch no more. Really dissapointed to find out that one of the most delicious Archies cookies crunch that used to be served in a tall glass has been changed to Archie cookies sandwich. Which is no where close in the taste to the crunch. Very bland and dissapointing taste. I do not understand why they are changing a recipe that works well to something that's not. The archie cookie sandwich looks beautiful but left little satisfaction on the taste bud and well said to say i wont be a repeat customer no more.
