Comments of Swedish Tarts
K. K.
A great variety of food in a nice little cafe near Henley Beach . Great food so compliments to the chef !
K. A.
Visited this place for breakfast. I am impress with the food, fresh juice and coffee, beautiful! The front of the cafe was not appealing, the restaurant is tight but with good decorations. Staff service is okay but nothing special. Price is expensive compare to other cafe's and restaurants. Good portion of food

After our poor experience at the semaphore version I was reluctant to try this one. We opted for scones and tea. The scones weren’t the best but it seems that’s not unusual. Would have been nice for options other then blueberry jam. The biggest complaint is they brought us the food but didn’t bring cutlery for a while which I couldn’t understand. We were not the only ones that missed out.

Swedish Tarts Henley Beach
I walk past this place every day and finally stopped to grab a coffee and give a review.
Long Black with a dash of lactose free milk and a stevia. They nailed it.
Clean, fresh and inviting cafe with friendly service.
the selection of pastries looked delicious and the menu had something for everyone
Pet friendly out the front with water for the dogs.
Will definitely be back to experience the food

Dropped in here for a quick brunch. Despite being busy, we were offered a table quickly and our waitress was really good. I had been before for coffee (about 2 years ago), and was surprised they now do table service. My soup of the day (pumpkin) was delicious, the housemade rye bread went with it perfectly and my partner really enjoyed his crepes. Previously my favourite item was the Glogg, a blackcurrant tea spiced with ginger and cinnamon. Unfortunately the menu had changed and it wasn't available, but our waitress and the barista were amazing and managed to make one for me anyway. We were too short on time to try any of the many sweets on offer in the cabinet, but they all looked delicious (I'm going back for the lemon curd tart).
As it is a busy place, it can get quite loud, but the food and service are worth it.
The art on the walls change monthly and is available to purchase.

Go here for the food, not the coffee! Coffee gets a 7/10 from me but these crumpets were something else. Could have used a little more maple & lemon curd so the last bite wasn’t dry but they were oh so fluffy and had great flavour.
K. K.
Great food and lovely juices. Everything in the cakes case looked amazing but was so satisfied from breakfast we didn't try any of the sweets. Very popular place so expect to wait a bit of you are heading in for Sunday brunch.

A beautiful brunch was had with my friend and I. Great food, its just a bit expensive.
C. K.
This place has so much potential. The food looks interesting & fresh. However with Food intolerances, i always double check even having the same thing. Most often the staff have no idea of ingredients & often someone takes a guess! It's about time they had ingredient lists! They do have GF but no other info. Large serves! Pic of smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on GF toast & skinny latte... yum!

2 years ago my friends and I discovered Swedish Tarts when we visited Adelaide. We have talked about it every week since then. This weekend we returned and it is just as good as we remembered. The flatbread is a must. Make pretty good smoothies too. Can't go wrong as a breakfast option.
C. R.
Lots of yummy gluten free options on the menu, gf bread and sweets. Staff aware of difference between gf and gf for celiacs.
r. t.
Really nice breakfast. Friendly staff and good service.
Y. L.
Great coffee, great light food...always the first choice when I am in Henley beach.
D. K.
Enjoyable meal with prompt service. Creative and tasty take on a breakfast staple, beetroot hollandaise on the Eggs Benedict, with rosti instead of toast.
A.
Been here on 4 occasions, service can be really good or nonchalant depending on the staff that day. Coffees (flat white, cappuccinos & mochas) are excellent. Power juices are okay if they got the right order the first time. One of the server kept missing items on our order like missing eggs and missing salmon added to the order, maybe she was being overworked while the 2 girls at the counter just stood chatting. Food is basic. Tarts and croissants are very good, just wished they had the prices up too.
R. S.
Ideal location, situated opposite Henley Beach. The service was most impressive and was made to feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. We had coffee and the German apple cheesecake, which was of a very generous portion and most delicious.
P. B.
Ducked in on a public holiday, paid $6.55 for a large flat white on almond, they got the milk wrong which I don’t mind at all (I got the milk one in a cup for me to drink- other half is dairy intolerant) but both of the coffees were bitter- I added sugar to mine. I understand it is a busy holiday but not sure if the beans are on the bitter side or if the machine maybe needed a flush out. Food looked pretty good would try to stop by again hopeful that coffee is better. Milk was well made and well poured. Perhaps it’s my taste...
J. -.
The home-made baked beans were absolutely delicious, the side of garlic mushrooms were well-cooked and super garlicky (maybe a little too much for some people), and the bread was excellent.
Even the humble ham, cheese and tomato croissant was super tasty and perfectly toasted.
Coffee is brewed-well and super smooth.
And their selection of tarts are to die for, plus very well-priced.
The service could be improved as the staff are a little slow and not overly friendly.
The only downfall (and this isn't the cafe's fault), is it seems very family-friendly, so expect children to be screaming in your ear and coughing over everything.
M. T.
Great savory bits and sweets including vegan. I am not vegan but tried vegan chocolate slice just for curiosity. Very delicious and hope less calories 😉
Also hot and cold drinks. Had lunch with my sister in law and we really enjoyed it after walk on jetty and promenade.
Also very cosy and welcoming ambience.

We have been coming to Swedish Tarts at Henley since they opened. The food is absolutely fantastic. Fresh and delicious. As if it could get any better though.. it has! Table service is now available there! Their little makeover has been such a wonderful and welcome change. Great customer service too. Keep up the good work guys Adelaide needs more businesses like this. 5 stars

Been to Swedish Tarts Henley Beach 3 times. It’s a bit noisy for me but tolerable- a very popular spot.
Paintings for sale adorn the walls.
Food has been consistently great as has been the service. I’ve had the Swedish meatballs and the crumpets. So delicious. 1st 2 times coffee was not quite hot enough for my taste but was no problem the 3rd time as I asked for an extra hot latte. Very nice thankyou.
M. J.
Tried the desserts here. Apple crumble cake was a big disappointment. No crumbly texture to this cake at all. It was all a soft mush. Scab cake was yummy with an interesting flavour. The tarts’ texture were inconsistent. Salted caramel’s tart was crispy and great, but the tart for Custard tart was quite soft. Brownie was not to my liking either. It looked great though, that’s why we got it.
S. L.
It was okay, good service and friendly staff. However, they did forget the bacon with my eggs and bacon order and used rye bread instead of the sour dough that was on the menu. Misses had some pancake thing and she loved it. Probably would come back again.
L. I.
Very homely place with excellent coffee and other hot drinks. It has an organic cafe sort of feel to it. Furnishings and decor give the place an informal and happy/ convivial/ intimate vibe. Great place to go and the most unique coffee and food place in Henley Beach in terms of the above qualities.
M. H.
Visited today at Henley Beach. A bit disappointed that even though they are open till 3pm that the kitchen was already closed at 2 which is not indicated on any menu or website I could find. We settled for some.pies and cake which were also nice.
C. F.
I’ve been going to Swedish tarts semaphore for about 10 years now and it’s great. The Henley location is the complete opposite.
Someone needs to go into the business and teach the people who run it and the staff how to say hello to someone. The staff are disengaged at times.
M. D.
The girl behind the counter this morning can do with a smile for ALL customers. Otherwise the food as always is good.
K. P.
Good place for light breakfast
C. F.
Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch either for meeting friends or going by yourself. The food is amazing. Strongly recommend the Keso, a combination of cheese, chorizo, poached eggs and mixed greens. Love this place! Vegan friendly.
A. F.
Mixed experiences here.
Have had really slow service at times and a couple of average meals.
But the staff are always really friendly.
The flatbreads are generally great!
J. P.
Popped in for a quick lunch. Had a craving for an old favourite from Swedish Tarts (at Semaphore)...to find the crunchy veg and Tom yum paste flatbread was not on the menu☹️. I asked if it was possible to have one made especially...and the chef was able to whip it up!☺️ DELICIOUS! Made my day - thank you 💛
J. O.
Coffee is good, would be 5 stars if the food didn't have as much oil on. Would 100% go back for coffee though
M. D.
Nice selection of sweet and savoury items with great coffee as well. We tried 2 tarts which were pretty good. While the service wasn't bad, it wasn't exactly friendly either.
S. C.
Cosy when busy. A little dirty. Tasty food.
R. W.
I went here and rely enjoyed the place.
I. D.
Very friendly service, nice place.
A. L.
Busy little joint for a takeaway coffee. Long blacks weren't too crash hot but the latte options my wife had days before were much better.
S. S.
Very busy cafe with excellent range of good food. Lots of options for people who need gluten free, vegan or vegetarian. A good range of smoothies too. I love it here
R. C.
Just delicious! Their all day breakfast menu is a treat and great coffee too - staff were really friendly
J. T.
Friendly staff meals were out quick considering been mother's day and place was flat out busy
T. D.
Food was amazing!! But service was 'forgetful'? But best breakfast ive had will make me give them another chance..
P. L.
Best place for Sunday brunch. Great chocolate croissants and Date me smoothie is to die for. Best thing you can ask for on a hot day.
T. D.
A bit too chaotic at peak demand times. Even pre-booking a table seems beyond them. Otherwise, food was good & we'll give them another opportunity to redeem themselves.
E. S.
Amazing food & great service every time! We go there weekly and have never been disappointed. Easy 5 stars.
P. D. B.
Lovely service fantastic food ( lots of Gluten free food!!! ) and easy parking- and not pricey. Well worth the visit

(Translated) Nice cake and tea. Good music there.
Opening 3 stores in Adelaide. Utaichi store is a bakery. The organic dessert is not too sweet and has a lot of handmade feel.
The inside of the store is full of fashion with modern jazz.
