I give it 3 stars because the coffee was good. I know that the past couple of years things have been difficult and hospitality has trouble with staffing. So I assume that is why the tables, scattered around their area were mostly dirty with remnants of past customers. This always annoys me as nothing worse than sitting down and table not cleared or wiped down properly. To be honest one of the cushion chairs against the wall was tattered and had seen better days. I was going to sit there but the look of seat put me off. So moved around cafe looking for a table cleaned. I enjoyed the coffee but won't be rushing back.

An oasis of charm inside the typically soulless hellscape that is a Westfield shopping centre. They were playing Umi Says by Mos Def when I sat down, then went on a bit of a Cat Empire stretch. Coffee was great, staff were cool, and I saw one of them dancing in his jumper after I'm assuming he had just finished his shift. Good vibes all round.

Great coffee from this small store! This place feels dedicated to a good cup of coffee and great customer service. I was able to sit down for a few minutes and observed the friendly interactions between staff and customers. The food is limited to pastries, of which I tried a plain croissant. It was good quality, but may have been a bit too buttery for my liking (that’s me nitpicking). The coffee was surprisingly good! I never have high expectations from coffee shops in shopping centres, but this one was high quality and well made! Overall a great experience!

To be honest, we didn’t like Archer from the get go, as my partner and I both thought the staff were too friendly and talkative but their coffee started to grow on us and eventually won us over. We frequent the spot in Chermside shopping center the most and really love grabbing a coffee from them whenever we go there. The staff now seem alright and I must say we have misjudged them and I apologize. As for their coffee, it has been fairly consistent. The flavor is not too intense, and very mutual. There have been a couple of times where it has made me wonder what happened to their coffee as it didn’t taste as nice as usual. But in general, it is good coffee. Always happy to go back

It’s a great little coffee concept. I love the fact that this store is so compact. Their coffee is quite good but it’s not my absolute favourite. That being said the staff are friendly and the only reason I probably struggle with their coffee is that I often drink black coffee and many of these roasters coffees taste best with milk. Cudos for the team who started their brand at Chermside. Super brave! Best of luck!!

I visited 3 times on my short stay in Chermside, resulting in 3 excellent strong piccolos. I could see from my observations that the team were constantly ensuring the coffees were dialled in to maintain their consistently. I was so impressed on my second visit, that the guy serving the tables came over to apologize mine was taking so long because the pour wasn't good enough and they wanted to get it right. When it arrived soon after, it came with a free coffee voucher (hence my third visit later). They new my style of coffee was very particular and they nailed it each time with rich strong brews. Pity they didn't have piccolo cups, but mine were spot on. This is a cafe for coffee as their main thing. Awesome chicky baristas!!

I'd say there's about 3 main reasons this place has a high rating. 1. Coffee is actually really good! Reasonable price. You can see where your beans are from eg. This week Colombian beans. 2.they have a lot to offer even though they are quite small. 3. Excellent service. Dedicated staff that really know how to communicate with customers. They are absolutely fun to talk with and very friendly. I recommend this place. One of my fav coffee spots in brissy

Probably one of the best fw's that I had, smooth, rich, creamy. Everything you are looking for in a cup of coffee.
