What a surprise Brew Cafe & Wine Bar was. Tucked down the back of the end of lower burnett Lane is a little space that isn't so little. Staff here are helpful and the menu is great. Covering good breakfast options and a hearty blend for lunch. We tried the salads and kids nuggets and chips and all were fantastic. Good flavours with small flavour twists. The drinks menu looked good too from beers and wine to coffee and juices. Worth seeking this place out for a sticky beek for sure

The burgers were delicious 🤩, amazing mix of flavours that all work well together, the chips were yum as well, and the coffee and the whiskey was just as good! I will be back for sure and try something different from the menu, hopefully is as good as this meal! It’s kind of hipster style cafe, definitely recommend 👍🏻👍🏻

Querky Dark Spot for one with a hangover!
Good breakfast, average price, great coffee and good service.
Summary: Not a foodie glam spot, but fun location and good food 🙂
Nothing to critique, nothing to rave over either.
rate: ⭐⭐⭐🌓

This place is the bomb.
Its situated down a little alley way and you feel like your going into a bomb shelter.
Its cosy, warm and absolutely amazing.
The coffee is divine and hits the spot very quickly.
The food - well its great, good sized servings, good taste, good prices and overall good food.
Staff, really friendly.
Get down there today.

I was really excited when I walked in to this hipster cafe. The burgers were delicious, amazing mix of flavours that all work well together! The chips also had a yummy taste and texture which made for an overall great experience at the restaurant-I'm going back soon with my friends so we can order something different from their menu but if it's anything like what we ordered today then there is no doubt its going down smashingly 😋🍔👏

A great little hideaway in the bustle of the city. Only had a coffee and tea but the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is very relaxed and has a really nice vibe. Its very clean but not clinical and the decor is very interesting. Highly recommended.
J. A.
Love this place, so friendly and quick service. They make a decent coffee and the grilled holumi bagel is yumm
K. C.
I’ve been to Brew many times before and their coffee remains of a high standard. Aromatic, smooth and sweet! It’s a known hidden gem situated right in the centre of the busy Central Brisbane District. The food is delicious and their menu is unique. Their friendly service is helpful. It is a pleasure to enjoy a cup of impressive coffee at Brew.

Prepare your stomachs and tastebuds in this smaller yet spacious Cafe & Bar. With delicious food coming in large portions, solid drinks and very reasonable prices, the only thing that tops it off is the great atmosphere and friendly staff. I could not rave more about this place.
M. P.
Had the eggs benny ..... cooked perfectly and a great size.
Coffee was smooth and tasty.
Good vibe and prompt service.
Great little spot and recommended.
Burgers looked pretty good so might head back one day yo try them out

This place is a real gem, the atmosphere is amazing and there are so many cool details, like you get you tap water in old spirit bottles like gin or rum bottles. One of the best coffees we had in Brisbane. Food was also good, the staff is great and helpful. A must go if your in Brisbane.
J. W.
Average. Eating breakfast underground is not recommended but the food was ok. The guy at the counter didn’t give me the option on what size cappuccino I wanted instead I was given a huge mug when served late after asking. It was basically hot milk.
C. B.
Hidden away restaurant and bar. We went here for breakfast and quite enjoyed it. They have a semi unique menu, but they don't stray too far from traditional breakfast stuff. They seem to cater to vegans as well if that's your thing.
The food was decent quality. I chose my eggs to be scrambled. If I had to pick on anything it'd be that the scrambled eggs were a tiny bit on the dry side, but by no means overcooked, just my preference.
Otherwise everything was good. Totally recommend trying this place out.
R. L.
Love this place, I still remember the first time I came here with my friend, I was so surprised there was a cafe/bar down here! I mean I have passed by thousands of times but never noticed, my bad but gave me a feeling of a Chinese saying “大隐隐于市”. And the coffee is aromatic and smooth, the chicken burger I believe is better than Betty’s, music is relaxing as well, special vibe.

Had a great experience dining in each day at this café (usually getting my lovely Omelette) for the 3 months i was working at Virginia. Karen and her team always made my day and constantly offered different options for my meals. I'll really miss the place! 10/10! Thanks Karen!

Feel like our secret cafe.
Atmosphere was so goooood.
I love there and will definitely be back if I get a chance.
Food was good and the coffee was served with the amazing latte art.
M. M.
This place was actually recommended to me by a family member who stated that they have the best coffee. So I obviously needed to give it a go... and she wasn’t lying. The coffee was good. So smooth just how I like it. Holoumi bagel was so yummy and the falafel was also yummy.
Located and hidden away in an alleyway just follow he signs and you will find this place tucked away. Staff were are also very friendly and quick service.
D. M.
While the place is clean and the staff is very nice and friendly, I found the mocha (coffee) and food to be very average at best. The place has a unique Fortitude Valley-type garage feel, which isn't really my thing, but I can understand why others may appreciate this place if they are in the CBD but want more of that industrial/street scene vibe. Thus, the place still may be worth a trip just to experience the unique setting. I do like that this place accepts all major credit cards, including American Express (AMEX), without any silly surcharges. I would eat here again, it's just not near the top of my list.
J. W.
Great night spot down the laneway. Decent selection of beers. Great service. I came late so didn't order a meal however I'd think it would be more than adequate! They have rotating taps from various brewers. Decor is eclectic and menu is fairly comprehensive. Will definitely return next time in Brisbane.
B. L.
Been a couple of years since I last came to Brisbane. And one of the things I missed was Brew so here I am! Food was very good, fresh ingredients! (Except, beans felt a bit dry). Coffee was amazingly smooth. Nice vibe to chat with friends and super friendly staff.
J. A.
I don’t spend much time in Brisbane but when I do, I love it. There are increasingly cool bars and restaurants and The Brew is one of my favourites. Small menu and selection, but every is made with love! The staff are chilled and fun, the food generous and the beer cold! Not expensive but lots of fun... and I hear live music is about to make a comeback!
Love this place!
E. F.
The vibes in here are immaculate, great music, fantastic staff and pretty great food. Best little hideaway in the city.
Although the last few times I've been in my coffee has been burnt or ends up tasting like soap if I'm dining in. It's a bit disappointing, but probably won't stop me from coming back again.
d. r.
It wouldn't let me review again, so I will just add it here.
Love the food, always quick and flavoursome, a perfect price for the quality you get. Always welcomed at the door by .
Service is not as warm and welcoming as it used to be, although Mia, Kurt and Taylah has turned that around and it's encouraged my regularity here.
If you're greeted by service staff who don't seem like they want to be there, it doesn't make you want to go back.
Monday last week: Hot chocolate was average, It was milky at the start of the hot chocolate. Wasn't stirred in.
Weekend breakfast and coffee was incredible, friendly staff and food was tasty!
Tuesday's coffee was awesome!
S. E.
I moved away from Brissy in 2016 (I was on a work/holiday for one year) and this place was a frequent stop of mine. To this day I still rave to people about how great their food and atmosphere are. It’s a must if you’re in the cbd!
K. B.
Great atmosphere, even for breakfast!! I had the Eggs Benedict (a classic), and it was huge, and delicious. I also had an oat milk mocha and it was delicious too! Couldn't fault anything. The staff were friendly and attentive. Great location on the Queen Street Mall. Art work on display, and a sign saying that local artists were welcome to display and sell their artwork made it even better :P
D. K.
It's my second visit to Brew Cafe and I'm still impressed. The southern fried chicken burger is amazing and the long black is perfect! The staff are really friendly and the chilled vibe is sweet.
A.
Great atmosphere, staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast which is served (pretty much) all-day and it was delicious. Coffee was pretty good too and the walls are beautifully decorated. It's a must go.
T. N.
Always love going to Brew. Tucked away from the main Queen Street, makes it a cool place to chill and relax for a drink or coffee.
Staff were always friendly too.
S. C.
Great place to get a drink. Sweet wall art really adds to the cool vibe.
K. F.
Amazing cafe slightly hidden away from view with great atmosphere. Lovely interior that blends trendy with vintage. Good food and coffee, good prices, good service and very nice staff.
G. F.
Cause it’s a coffee shop, it’s a bar, it’s a eatery, seems to be a little bit of everything. The food was good quality the coffee was decent definitely leaves with a strong backpacker popular vibe. Good hours good prices recommended if you’re looking for a quick bite or a coffee.

Another fantastic showcase of delicious food and excellent coffee. We kick started our Sunday morning breakfast with a short black and piccolo. And a grilled haloumi bagel with baby spinach, goats cheese spread, tomato relish and chipotle mayo and the smashed avocado on rye with heirloom tomatoes, shaved baby radish, dill, lemon labna, pea tendrils and lime (half serve shown). Great start to the day. Friendly service. Eclectic and funky atmosphere and local artistry to fill the walls. A must visit at any time of day. Can highly recommend. Images are copyright.
S. B.
We all had lovely meals here and the coffee was excellent. The atmosphere at Brew Cafe is fantastic...in a very Melbourne style lane location way.
D. W.
You might not have heard, but Brew do a food and drink package on a Sunday afternoon. The food was good and they mix up a great espresso martini. Give it a go!
A. H.
If you wanna escape your normal daily stressful life....go to Brew. As soon as you walk in you feel totally relaxed. Great staff, awesome food and drinks and best music ever. Favorite place to unwind
m. g.
Always good. Whenever I meet friend, I introduce here and all friends like here. I am international student. I can say this cafe makes people feeling Australia vibes~~
S. S.
Amazing service, came in last night for the $10 shnitty special, it came out with gravy on top which was stated - I sent it back and they were more than happy to make me a new one, super kind, lovely and friendly service,....will be back. Great service with the guy behind the bar :D
T. P.
Chilled and relaxed atmosphere with comfy couches. They also do mocktails on request. Great friendly service. I highly recommend this place 😁
S. S.
Fantastic coffee and food. Brilliant service. Relaxed, cosy atmosphere.
S. J.
Middle of city, we could have warm brekki at morning. The avocado dish that I ordered has pretty lots of avocado and yam. Little bit noisy if you like flat mood.
H. P.
The London Fog tea is amazing. I was served by Sam and had a really positive experience! Will definitely be back
C. “. L.
First time was great. Excellent coffee, very yummy food, lovely staff and a great off the street location. Will be back for sure.
J. S.
Great place, food and ambience !! Really friendly staff and good food options. It’s a very nicely tucked away place off of queen street - easy to miss - but definitely a must visit if you are around and looking for a nice quiet place for brunch / lazy dining. Good veggie options as well !
D. H.
Had breakfast with my girlfriend yesterday here, actually 10/10! Loved the food and the atmosphere, huge shoutout for playing Ghost while we were there too 😍
F. N.
Delicious food & friendly service! I felt very comfortable being a woman dining alone here, which is very refreshing
R. N.
They have a very cool tatse in decorating. If you want finger food, I highly recommend their sweet potato with mayo. The beer is fruity and refreshing, it kills the heat of Brisbane. The staffs are lovely, everytime they look at me, they give me a smile. You can hang out with friend, enjoy a cocktail alone or even bring your laptop and work there (wifi's super fast).
D. &. T.
Great location, amazing food and an un usual atmosphere! Definitely will be back for another cheeky lunch ;)
M. N.
Hidden gem in Brisbane. Cool vibe & style. Loved our espresso martinis and snicker macaroons! Staff were great too...will recommend and hopefully be able to return.
M. W.
What I like about Brew is the feeling of being tucked away - not In Brisbane mall. You feel like you could be in a laneway hideaway in Melbourne or Sydney.
I’ve done breakfast here many times. I usually go for the avo on toast but recently tried the granola. I have a new favourite!
B.
I ordered eggs your way and extra avocado, the taste was good but the size didn’t worth that much money to be honest. $13.5 + $5.5 avo on the up right side in the picture.
They make good fresh juice tho. The atmosphere was not bad.
L.
busy cafe and good cosy atmosphere.
NewYork bagel was salty when i visited. coffee and banana bread is great!!
s. t.
Table service at Brew, staff were friendly and accommodating, wrong coffee came but they switched it out immediately without fuss, busy cafe during brunch time, so meals took about 20-30mins to be served. Fig toast order came looking a little sad, wouldve been great if it had some fresh fruits to go along, otherwise it really is just two slices of bread and nothing else. Pork belly poached eggs were really good, decent sized portion for sharing even. Awesome coffee joint and cozy ambience.
S.
Amazing brunch! I would recommend this place to anyone. High quality products, tasty coffee and fresh juice and awesome atmosphere. If I come back to Brisbane I will come back for sure.
A. B.
Brew is brilliant. It's a little hidden down a laneway but all the Brisbane locals know it's there. Great place for cafe style food but also for craft beers. Vibe is relaxed and just slightly hipsterish (only just). Just go there, it's great.
K. M.
Food was great, and very filling. Atmosphere is awesome, and the staff are really friendly.
S. D.
Great quick friendly service. Delicious burgers and coffee. Funky atmosphere. Also has some great vegan options.
R. L.
The brisket burger was superb! So full of flavour! Fantastic choice of craft beers. Great atmosphere and the food came really fast.
S. H.
Very hip, low key cafe in the Centre of Brisbane's CBD. The food was really yummy (we ordered breakfast dishes), and the servers were friendly, polite and efficient. The coffee wasn't bad, but not great, but better than most places nearby.
I didn't get to try any of the beers in tap, but I'd be happy to eat there again and would love to sample the beers.
All in all, I recommend it. 👍
K. C.
Coffee was great, but I wasn’t too happy with the breakfast options.
My avocados were brown underneath and slightly sour.
Staff were very nice.
L. L.
Down an alley in the city off Queen Street Mall this place has a distinctive ambience that lends itself to a great little spot to chill with friends after a day at the office. Happy hour offers some pretty sweet bargains and staff are really happy to provide great customer service. We saw a few dishes going past but were only stopping in for a few, keen to try a few tasty treats next time as the presentation was on point!
Y. Z.
Really nice and cozy place I went there for breakfast and it was great also the service is perfect I highly recommend this place
G. S.
The Beef Brisket burger was amazing. Great flavors and a good size. Added bonus of only $10 on a Monday night. A must if visiting Brisbane
T. '. T.
Solid little eatery - I was hungry so didn't take a photo of my food, but it was good. Helpful fellas behind the counter. Quite warm inside. Fairly noisey and not even half full. Quirky art works adorne the walls at price points that will keep them hanging there haha
안. S. H. [.
Not a lot of people and slience good mood! If you dont go to some where with your girl friend, you can go there.
R. F.
Great food, great service, a little hard to find but worth it.
J.
Everything is fantastic here!! Highly recommend the brew burger. Will definitely visit again!!
L. W.
Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of queen st mall you'd never expect this gem of a place to be here. Don't be mistaken thinking the place is closed. Keep walking and you'll find this awesome place. Food is awesome and service is impeccable. The portion size for what you pay is fantastic, we couldn't finish our food that's how big the portion size was. Definitely will be back to check this place out next time I'm in brisbane
F. P.
The atmosphere is super cool, great coffee and fully stocked bar. Today I was served by a lovely lady named Deli and I will definitely be coming back for their delicious looking food :)
A. C.
Great food and good service. Staff were friendly and managing the whole covid thing really well. Place is always busy.
W. M.
Favourite boozer hands down. I just love that its a good little pub hidden away. The staff are fantastic! The music is great! The DJs are awesome! The food is bang tidy! Try and keep me away!
R. T.
Reasonable ambience for the laneway vibe. Food is a bit of a disappointment but coffee and drinks were fairly good.
T. L.
It's always very noisy and full and yet the air con is so powerful. The staff are nice and helpful, everything is organised so food arrived pretty quickly. I ordered the Mex Salad and it was amazing. I loved the crunchy chickpeas and grilled corn, nice touch.
A. W.
One of my go to places in the city. I make a point of stopping by every time I pass. Atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are always so prompt and friendly. Food is always perfect and the cocktails are always amazing. I try and bring all my friends here.
A. B.
Great little cafe/bar at the end of a little lane way. Great atmosphere and good food and coffee. We went for breakfast and all enjoyed...bircher, big breakfast, smashed avos and eggs Benny, brew juice....all good!! Well worth a lazy weekend breakfast.
M. M.
Hidden gem in the city! We love the underground vibe, great food at good prices, good staff, and delicious chai tea 🥰
S. H.
Always a good time. tasty food and a solid beer rotation
K. O.
Yummy breakfast, good coffee and at a reasonable price in a 'Melbourne style' alleyway. Very happy customer.
A.
Great beer choice and helpful bartender, truffle fries are insanely good. Really cool vibe and tucked away so not over crowded.
N. L. (.
If you enjoy a good night out drinking and having a chat with your mates, this would be a great place for you. Or you could go during the day and have a bite of their waffles. The place ticks away in an alley (literally) and is really easy to be missed. I liked the vibe both times I went there.
K. R.
kinda funky dingy vibes. the onion rings are yum. we had the veggie burger and bagel which were good too. not somewhere I’d go back to but worth a try.
J. B.
Friendly staff, decent coffee and fun decor
A. H.
Wonderful food, awesome atmosphere, and the service was gorgeous! Currently obsessed with the mushroom toast and the French toast just *chefs kiss* perfect!
Will definitely be back!
C.
I've been here a few times. The coffee is great, nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly but the food I ordered was not to standard. I tried the southern style chicken burger and it came with wedges. The meat on the burger was basic, a large chicken nugget, processed, probably from a packet and definitely not southern style. I would have received the same quality from Macdonalds. For a cafe with such a great rep I was largely disappointed.
S. M.
I have not had lunch at Brew before but thought it may be a great place to catch up with a friend who had never been there before. We certainly were not disappointed. Breakfast for me in the past was superb and lunch was also. Not an extensive menu but the food on choice was exceptional. It was fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced. The wait staff were amazingly friendly, happy and helpful as usual. I am sure that my friend will return as I do. Thank you Brew.
M. D.
Excellent selection of craft beer and creative, delicious menu caters to all tastes. Staff were friendly and efficient and loved the whole hidden alleyway vibe.
D. C.
One of my favourite places to relax on my own for a coffee/drink. The atmosphere is really chilled and the staff are great!
A. S.
It's a great little venue discreetly tucked away down an alley. (Think Melbourne) Staff are friendly, and efficient. The food is great and they do BREAKFAST UNTIL 2PM. The big breakfast is easily enough for two to share. The chocolate brownie dessert is a little pricey but to die for.
I visit here every time i come to Brisbane.
Only issue is that it's become very popular since they opened, though at off-peak times it's still a quiet, relaxing haven away from the madness outside.
Unfortunately it is no longer a best kept secret. Word got out.
T. M.
Pricey, but delicious drinks, awesome bar staff. Food menu is great, but my partner was served a stone-cold burger which was a huge turn-off. Table number backgrounds are hilarious though!
Y. A.
a cool hidden cafe bar within the ever lasting bustling city!!! a perfect place to get away from the noise and fast paced environment, have a drink and some food for a while~ ordered a ice long black, chips and a ginger beer~ items were a bit pricey but somewhat worth it for the chill environment that the cafe bar is in~~~ staff are pretty friendly which is nice~! definitely worth a try especially if you love hidden alleyway places!! definitely reminded me of melbourne and their alleys for a moment~
G. T.
Really good burgers and drinks! Tucked away in a small street and might be hard to find for those unfamiliar with the area.
C. L.
Went there for Breakfast yesterday, we had a booking for 11 people. We were sat a table that fitted six people comfortably, but we sorted ourselves out by finding a more suitable table. Food was served relatively fast which was great. The music where we were sitting was really loud [because the speaker was right above the wall from us playing 00's rock, it wasn't loud in the rest of the place] which made it difficult for conversation at the table with so many people. I think this venue is probably not great for groups but more for intimate small groups 2-4 people.
R. M.
Got to love this underground cafe that could double up as a war bunker. It's raw and in your face style says "this is who we are, and we don't care what you think about it." Live extension cables loop from light to light like electric vines, the menu covers are old vinyl covers, my wooden chair wobbled... love it or deal with it. The staff are cool, friendly and do their job well. We were in a rush so our waiter put a word in with the kitchen and before we knew it we were being served our order.
E. C.
Service can be a little slow but staff are nice enough and the food we had was great.
M. Z.
We've been coming here on our very occasional forays into Brisbane City for some time. Coffee is consistently good. Never has that burnt flavour/sensation, always smells and tastes great. I'm generally a 1 sugar human. It's nice to drink coffee where I don't have to do that.
The times I've eaten here have been enjoyable. Food is regular cafe options plus some delicious differences. Haloumi bagel is talked about around me while I sit here having ordered a big breakfast post cuppacino doughnut that the staff kindly warmed for me. Wifeys option was spiced popcorn cauliflower, with vegan bbq dipping sauce. All scrumptious.
Don't expect brand new decor (kitchen and bar aside). You're walking down a side alley and can easily miss this, which leads down to their entry. Don't let this out you off. It's comfy seats, good older music with variety, and staff who are ever pleasant, kindakind bustling.
I don't normally review to this length, so -
TL:DR just do it. I'll be surprised if you don't enjoy your time. Bring a scarf if you don't like cooler temperatures.
N. T.
Brew is the best place to go for breakfast if you like friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, with good lighting, nice music, and table service. They have a small but delicious collection of vegan foods, a larger collection of vegetarian options, and plenty of choice if you like meat. Their coffee is very good, mild tasting with both milk and vegan milks available.
They are open weekends, including Sunday mornings which is a godsend. Their breakfast menu lasts until 1400h, at which point their evening menu takes over. They're a licensed venue, serving cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits; the cocktails look absolutely gorgeous and I'm assured by friends they taste just as good (as a teetotaller I haven't tried for myself).
It has a gender-neutral bathroom in addition to male and female stalls, so everyone can feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the only entrance has stairs so it is not mobility-friendly. They also display a wide array of art from local artists which changes relatively often, offering the art for sale.
E. R.
I've always loved Brew! The staff are always very friendly and the food is good quality. The atmosphere is also really nice, lots of local event posters and little lounges that are nice to have a coffee or a cocktail at as it's both a cafe and a bar.
K. B.
Cute little dive cafe, serves breaky and lunch. They also have special openings for poetry or arts nights occasionally. Call them to check out when the next is. A great place to take a book and read with some tea. Friendly staff, always happy to help out and the local art on the walls is worth a little gander.
J. D.
The music they play here is the best anywhere! Food is good. Staff very cool but pleasent to talk with. You can talk here and there is no rush and no sleaze. Brilliant
M. R.
Me and my partner were looking for a place to eat and really feel like burgers. So we went to brew I got there lmao special who was absolutely delicious and the brew special with beef brisket !!! The staff was friendly and really helpful. The beers were good too. The ambiance there is great with the music and the decor. The place to go
B. N.
Very helpful staff and had the best dairy free and gluten free dinner. Really appreciate all the help catering to my annoying allergies, very impressed and will definitely be back!!
K. W.
Great atmosphere for Winter. Good place for after work drinks.
It can be very loud inside though, so conversation can be challenging at times.
B. V.
Hidden away from the noise of the busy street, don't let the understated alleyway fool you. Walk down and you find a hidden bar with a cosy atmosphere. Staff were prompt and accommodating. Decent coffee and food. A worthwhile detour from the rush of Brisbane CBD.
J.
Hidden gem amongst the crowded busy shops, bit tricky to find but what a great little hidden bar it is.
H. G.
great food, great coffee and great service! will be back!
S. “. J. G.
Good music, good location, but what makes it 5 stars is the Staff and the Food. oh my lord, i just die when i consume a burger from you guys. Coffee is always just what i need. keep it up brew.
C. R.
Reasonably priced. Lovely Staff. Amazing food and drinks. My mum first took me here years ago. Still love it to this day.
E. P.
Had my first date here, very atmospheric, enjoyed my food and drinks, good prices and kind staff
L. T.
Funky little cafe/bar tucked down an alley way
Tasty interesting meals , Halloumi bagel, chicken burger all nice ,
Buzzing and busy , though we were there with a small baby ,it was still a great experience, very chilled!
M. M.
Cozy place to have drinks and coffee. Very good happy hour specials. Today is 50 cents wings.
a.
Lovely staff member although I ordered just a cup of coffee.
V. J.
Loved the place. Ambience was too good. Food was great especially the Brew Burger (beef brisket). I ordered a picolllo which was one of the better ones I've ever had. Keep up the good work!
M. C.
First time here in about a year, as I missed my bus to work decicided to kill time getting a coffee. My almond late was made to absolute perfection! 😍 Perfect drinking temperature & was incredibly quick! Couldn't have made it better myself so definitely worth paying for. The girl who took my order was genuinely lovely too, thanks for a great start to my work day 🤗 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
C. S.
A business colleague and I were looking for a Brisbane cafe to have a coffee and a chat. The atmosphere was great and everything was clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. There was some background music but it wasn’t too loud. I would consider it one of the best cafes in Brisbane.
N. W.
My local go-to for amazing burgers and yummy cocktails.
S. C.
Great little hideaway, good atmosphere and fantastic coffee. Ratings on Google are pretty inline with my experience.

I haven't ordered any meals/desserts from here so I cannot speak for the food, but the atmosphere here is super chill and laidback. The decor is cozy and friendly, it's the perfect place to chat and have coffee with a friend.
L. H.
Great coffee, cold drip is delicious.
R. W.
Really nice staff, and a great underground atmosphere. Food was a little lacking in flavour, but I'll be giving them another try next time I'm in the city for sure.
P. Y. H.
Brew is where all the Brisbane's hipsters go for coffee and nice cold beer. A whole space feels very friendly and staffs too. Great quality coffee, great location, you would easily fall in love this place!
A. P.
Great food, great service. Thanks for a nice experience. 🙋
M. B.
Nice little laneway bar with chilled vibe.
B. C.
Delicious breakfast. Halloumi bagel was great!
G. C.
Great beers, coffee, and the food looks damned fine too. Recommended!

One of my best discoveries in my whole trip to Brisbane. First time I went was for a breakfast which was positively divine, after which, I simply had to return. The following night I went again when it was a bar and had a wonderful time. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, such a great place!!
L. A.
A really cool underground urban location with great coffee and breakfast
N. B.
Cool little place and consistently awesome. I recommend going for everything from Sunday brunch to Friday night knock-off beverages
T. D.
Very nice place to hangout. Great service! This is the first place where they asked me if I want to have cinnamon instead of cacao on my almond milk cappuccino, because of my vegan diet. Oh and try the vegan chocolate cookie with peanut butter and jelly filling, it’s delicious!
W.
It is an ok place for breakfast. A while back I ordered Canadian pancake. It came with ice cream which is good, but they put massive bacon (see my photo) with fat and pancake completely saturated in animal fat oil. Seriously, Canadians don't eat like that. I absolutely hate that and ate about 20%. Anyway, I went back again. I couldn't see that dish (Canadian pancake) on the menu anymore.
A. S.
Cool spot, better than the main stream bars
A. B.
This ultra-trendy, hipster, beard-friendly cafe is hard to beat for atmosphere. At the bottom of an alley with lots of brick and wood. It feels like a hidden hideout. Drinks are great. The food is over priced and consists mainly of grease, with little flavour other than charred meat.
M. L.
Brew hosted a group of 50 without hesitation. It was set up perfectly, and the service and food was incredible. Everyone had a great time and loved visiting. Thanks so much Sam & team for your hospitality. 5 stars.
F. K.
Nice music and great aroma of coffee when entering a cafe. Big breakfast was a good value to share between two. Coffee...just great! Interior is too retro though^^
A. D.
A little hidden down the lane, but worth the hunt to find. Great coffee & cosy atmosphere. Couches are great for a coffee catch up, but not so good for eating meals. Really enjoyed the smashed avo for breakfast & the burgers for lunch. It’s quite narrow inside, so a bit difficult for anyone with mobility problems.
T. R.
I had a job interview here, not to work here, but to work somewhere else. I got the job. So that's good. The job sucked... So that's bad.
I really got to enjoy the cool underground ambience and delicious coffee while I was sweating through my pants hoping I'd nail the interview and be able to pay my rent that Month.
K. H.
I visited here with my boyfriend for lunch early September 2019. Atmosphere looked great, all staff were friendly.
We ordered brekky burger and fish and chips. Brekky burger was ok, one thing made me disappointed was the two poached eggs were overcooked..they were like boiled egg. Fish and chips never arrived to our table but other customers who came much later than us got their meals. We had to leave so he didn’t have meal. Apparently the order went through successfully as the cashier lady was about to charge us fish and chips too. It’s ok people have mistakes sometimes and we were just unlucky the other day.
M. J.
Lovely place and helpful service. Their coffee has a pure and strong taste. The atmosphere is really unique too with beautiful lighting and decor. Will definitely be coming back
A. M.
Cool place with a great atmosphere. Delicious food, reasonably priced and some of the friendliest staff I’ve met anywhere. No complaints whatsoever!
If I lived here, I’d definitely be a regular!!
A. M.
This venue is a dream. Slip down the alley and the venue is just creeping around the corner. I pop in whenever I'm in town and although it's sometimes busy it's at its best when there is only a half the seats free and the music can wash over you. The staff are great and the food is well prepared. The venue is called brew for a reason. You won't be disappointed by the coffee or tea. Hope you enjoy this venue as much as me.
M. E.
Fabulous arty space hidden at the end of an alley, with beers on tap and meals available.
Coffee quality is somewhat hit and miss (had a fantastic first experience, but the second was somewhat less fulfilling).
Food is unusual and well thought out, and compliments the menu sequestered within a recycled LP case perfectly.
J. V.
Great venue hidden in the heart of Brisbane CBD
c. b.
Nice little hideaway with great food and coffee
a. m.
What a great quirky little find in the loading dock Great breakfast coffee and vibe inside
K. N. (.
At the end of an alleyway and in a dimly lit off shoot, brew serves excellent coffee and quite good hot chocolate.
The food can be a little trendy, but tastes good, it's a good place to catch up with friends but it is loud enough that it can be hard to talk over the background noise.
W. J. D.
Big call I know, but the Brew Burger (beef brisket) is the best burger I've every had. I go back time and time again and it never disappoints. The truffle fries with kewpie mayo are a fine accompaniment. There's probably other good stuff on the menu too but I can't go past it.
R. S.
Pretty decent coffee. Open on weekends. Friendly staff. Cool ambience. Worth a look if you can bare the hipsters and entitled uni students who go there. Didn't try the food but great menu by the looks of it.
E. L.
Nice vibrant and cosy atmosphere. Good range of seating and tables, good for groups but can get very cramped and crowded. Great music but can be hard to hear and talk when it gets busy. Service was okay as I found it quite inconsistent, some staff were very friendly whilst some were not.
Whilst the 'VE" on the menu stands for 'vegan' it is actually not, it is a 'vegan option'. My friend ordered one of their salads that was marked 've' and it came with halloumi.
Quality of the food varies, the kickstarter bowl was quite soggy but the sweet potato fries with the smokey barbeque sauce was really nice. Didn't find anything outstanding about this place so I don't find it's value for your money. I probably won't be coming here again.
J. F.
Love this place.
Had a mixup with our order and the waitress ended up giving us free chips x2. The item we ordered, they'd run out of. Couldn't fill our order and in the end gave us free substitute.
Besides the cool location I must rate the staff 5 stars due to their good handing of our missed up order! Thank you!
I. I.
Funkiest little cave like venue in town
D. P.
Good beer options. Convenient location. Bitcoin lightning payment is an option but the experience was clunky. I guess that it's rarely used. Staff were a bit unfamiliar with it. Their tablet had to stay mounted on the wall because of a battery issue, apparently. This meant that I needed to hand over my unlocked phone for them to scan the QR code invoice. Not ideal! The display setting wasn't bright enough for this to work before my phone locked itself. A second staff member finally got it to work. I felt bad about inconveniencing the staff. This is a fine, cozy spot for a beer and some snacks as many reviews attest and I wouldn't dispute it. As for bitcoin lightning payments, the experience could be much better.
E. H.
Great food and coffee! There is a nice atmosphere both inside and out, suiting people who are catching up for fun or for business. It does get busy at lunch and it's very packed on Friday night, get in early if you want a seat!
R. L.
Fun find! Little hidden gem in the heart of Brisbane.
J. T.
Good atmosphere, nice and warm, friendly staff. Decaf Mocha was a bit too watered down, otherwise awesome!
J. C.
Cool, cosy spot for a coffee with mates. Coffee was good.
M. M.
This is a great little secluded spot for a nice sit down meal and a coffee. In the mornings it's not too busy and staff are friendly. Apparently it's also great for lunch and evening drinks but I've only been for breakfast.
D. W.
Brew is a bit of a hidden gem in Brisbane's CBD tucked away down the bottom of an alleyway. Great atmosphere, excellent coffee and even better food. I come here regularly to get work done. It does have free wifi but I always feel bad bumming internet from cafes so I just use my own.
I would have given Brew 5 stars but the last few times the service hasn't been as great as what it has been in the past. Both times was on Saturdays and the staff seemed to be new.
My menu recommendation would have to be any of their bagels. Have ordered many of them and have never been disappointed. A couple of weeks ago i ordered the granola (I think they call it a Breakfast Bowl or something like that) but was a bit of a let down. I had high hopes as everything else I have ordered from their menu has been excellent but this was more or less just cold porridge with some tinned pears and yoghurt. It could have just been a bad day in the kitchen.
All in all Brew is an amazing place to have a beer with mates or have a coffee while you catch up on emails.
T. B.
Melbourne meets Brisbane. Down a lane, past the crates and the kitchen, opens up a much larger space than you would imagine at first glance. Who knew that there would be tables and booths and a bar in there. Seems plenty of in-the-know types! Busy underground vibe and great coffee too.
As an out of towner, I felt like I had won the lottery.
E. M.
Nice choices and some vegan options 🙂
C. G.
Lovely atmosphere, fantastic breakfasts and wings. Coffee is great value for money, especially in the huge takeaway cup. Personable and attentive staff.
N. M.
I was a regular at Brew back in 2016 and recently came back as i was passing through the city. As expected, coffee and food still absolutely spot on.
R. A.
Its ok, not much food option tho, bar meals, and i dislike sprinkle salt on my battered fish, 😒. Place is not to quite not to crowded, hippie kinda bar and place to date.
C. H.
One of my go-to cafes in Brisbane! Cosy, cool, grungy atmosphere, with couches, milk crate furniture, dim lighting, and often local artworks. Great coffee, and often some pastries or pretzels on the counter for a snack on the go. Only downfalls are that it is sometimes a little hard to find a place to sit (although this shows it is popular!), and some people I've brought here find it a bit hard to hear because of the music and acoustics of the place.
B. R.
Love the atmosphere of Brew, love the coffee, love the friendly service. One of my favourite places for a catch up with a friend
I'm yet to try the food but I've only heard good things
E. H.
Went their last night with the team from Elysium Hair And Beauty on our team night out. We really enjoyed our visit the team their are really nice and went out of their way to help us with drink suggestions and I really enjoyed my customised cocktails. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and we were able to tuck ourselves away on a couple of sofa's at the back and settle in for the night. The tapas was really nice and was the perfect accompaniment to casual drinks and good conversation. Friendly and relaxed just how we like it.
F. D.
Went for a dinner when in Brisbane for 2 days. Tasty options, nice beer and cocktail selections. So good I went back for breakfast the next day. great atmosphere.
R. K.
Have been here twice for breakfast enjoyed the experience both times! The menu whilst small offers some enticing options and the coffee was smooth not burnt or acrid at all!
J. H.
Good vibe for breakfast, I'm looking forward to coming back later to have a beer too.
For a solo customer they were quick to take my order and food came out just as quick. Coffee had a good kick which most cafes haven't lately. I got the Brew Bene, great twist on the eggs benedict. I walked away happily full and satisfied great breaky spot. Cheers
T. M.
Great coffee and food! The place is tucked down and alley but don't let the entrance decieve you. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
P. M.
Saturday morning breakfasts here are pretty excellent.
The Brew Burger (not necessarily a breakfast item) is just excellent. Brisket with bacon and other deliciousness is drippy, oily, heaven.
The simple, ever reliable, eggs with bacon is also a highlight.
Plus we are regaled with 90's grunge rock. It doesn't get much better than that.
Do be careful of the ex-spirits water bottle though, they do sometimes have remnants of their previous tenants.
梁.
First time visit to this secret cafe after living in Brisbane for so long. Cozy and sweet .
H. L.
I ordered the BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIB. I've never had rice middlins before, but they were delicious! It's like the baby of rice and grits mixed together! So good! The braised beef short rib was so delicious. My plate won as the best at the table! Its a decent water park kids had fun we did too ive went hear since i was a young one , they do close to early at the beginning of june 10 to 5 ??!
S. E. F.
My friends and I went for a Breakfast ..It was just DELICIOUS!!!. My friend lMonica was going to ask if he can work there she try so many times to ask, but got so shy. Considering the service was just amazing friendly . The Burgers were sooooo Delicious....!!. Cant wait to comeback.. Hopefully my friend will get to ask...for the job ..Elegant place...to work...!!
C. F.
Looking for a late breakfast that turned into a real brunch. The staff were friendly the decor fitting, this trendy hide away quickly filled with locals and the good did not disappoint. Coffee was good.... Glad to be able to order a double ristretto and actually get that tiny shot of golden goodness as expected. Not the fastest service but this didn't phase us as time was on our side. Not expensive by Sydney standards but not certain if it or is by local benchmarks. We will return if not later in our trip, next time we are in Brisbane.
J. C.
Great food and coffee. Service is great too, attentive and polite. Location is a cosy tucked away place with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Recommend the peanut butter sourdough toast and mocha.
S. W. F.
A unique find in the centre of Brisbane's popular Queen street mal. Brew has a grungy feel as you walk down a seemingly dirty alley way and past the kitchen to emerge into a dimly lit but cosy bar. The dim lighting gives it a cosy candlelit feel without the use of candles and makes you feel relaxed even when you're on your own.
I've only ever experienced super friendly staff there who are happy to have a joke and whose style blends with the theme of the establishment.
I highly recommend coming here for a coffee during the day or a drink at night, it's great for both occasions.
G. S.
Brilliant coffee; one of the better Long Black's I've had for a while. And the mushroom toast was a treat
V. T.
Nice cosy cafe with great coffee and breakfast options
T. T.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was awesome.
c. f.
I had my Birthday lunch at Brew today with one of my best friends. Food was amazing as always and my Bloody Mary cocktail was so awesome, perfectly made and presented as always 🍹
B. G.
There is a certain atmosphere about this place at the right time of the day (I went around 7pm). You go down a little alleyway, go past the open kitchen and smell the food, then take a seat among the groovy furnishings — sometimes with a live band. The duck and something pizza I had was particularly tasty.
J. F.
Great little cafe and bar, makes you feel like your away from the city when you’re in the middle of it. Has an art gallery and great music. Tasty food menu.
L. K.
I always go to Brew when in the city. It's not too far from the university and great for getting a quick coffee or even lunch.
( Would recommend the chips). The wait staff are so nice and chilled and never had problems ever. I always recommend Brew to anyone I meet. A must go if youre in Brisbane CBD.
W. B.
The service was excellent with friendly staff and the food was delicious, was very happy and will definitely go there again 👍
K. S.
wait staff so kind,,,,,x please treat them nicely, nice gentle.an behind the bar and beautiful kind women clearing ou4 plates you deserve one million dollars i wish I was rich so I could tip you you are all Beautiful and excellent five stars
W. T.
Awesome little eclectic place with very tasty food, an imaginative uncomplicated menu, plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Great atmosphere and service is always attentive.
J. S.
Laneway gem. The food is solid but unspectacular. Decent range of beers & spirits. A refugee from the anodyne copy-paste corporate lunch focused cafes of Brisbane CBD.
I. L.
Great place to get out of the hot sun, grab a beer, brunch or just a coffee and relax. Very nice range of vegetarian and vegan options. Even when it's busy, staff are very friendly.
S. I.
Absolutely brilliant. Beautiful atmosphere, drinks and food are awesome. Only thing is it gets quite busy during lunch. :)
M. A. W.
Best coffee I’ve ever had in the world. I’m going to fly to Brisbane from Germany just for having a cup of this world class coffee. The breakfast is good too ;)
N. F.
Lovely coffee and food, friendly staff...
T. F.
Such an amazing vibe always. I've been coming here for a few years - the ambience and good food is what brings me back. Delicious Chai's and the avo on toast is a must try. A little bit on the expensive side but well worth it!
S.
A niche little hole with some of the best coffee, atmosphere and service around. Definitely great for dates or small groups. Does lack space but more than makes up for it
S. J.
Great little tucked away cafe bar, food is great and a great selection of drinks
J. M. A.
A real "hidden treasure" but we are so glad we found it! The brekky was delicious - the tastiest mushrooms we have eaten by a long shot. Friendly service. You MUST try the Single Origin By Louie Louie......AWESOME!
J. W.
Latte art leaf well presented
Served swiftly
Fresh fruit juice was fresh and tangy
Food was good, nice place and look forward to next visit
C.
I liked the place, it was a cosy cafe that just happened to be super busy today. The staff were great!
M. H.
Always excellent food here....great place to catch up with friends...good wine....coffee....
O. W.
Brock (like the Pokémon trainer) is an absolute legend. The beer is amazing and the atmosphere is fun, the great music helps. 10/10 would recommend
B. S.
The staff here are brilliant! Always friendly, always responsive.
It could do with more vegan options 😉 😁 but the truffle fries are amazing!
R. L.
Amazing food and coffee. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. House iced tea was a bit too light but overall excellent. Will come back, will bring friends 🤗
T. G.
The vibe has gone down quite a bit since COVID and the layout is a bit convoluted but the music is great and the sweet potato fries are top tier.
B. S.
I love this place!!! It has the perfect cozy casual atmosphere and great service. I would HIGHLY recommend going there!! Also, Hayley is the best person there, she is an absolute LEGEND and I'm definitely planning to visit again :)
J. P.
Great cozy spot with excellent food.
T. T. Y.
Friendly, atmospheric, centrally located, and open every day! Good food (lots of vego options), good coffee, and cocktails in the evenings. One of my favourite places in town.
s.
Amazing breakfast burger and loved the atmosphere in there. A quaint little spot
D. I.
Love this little place, good coffee, yummy food and great variety of seating.
M. A.
Quite back alley middle of the road cafe or bar. The comfortable couch layout is good for groups. Nice place to meet with friends for morning coffee or evening wine.
D. S.
Playing tourist with teenagers, Brew’s coffee was just what I needed and lived up to the ratings that led me there. Funky little joint that I’d like to visit again. Thank you
K. V.
Brew is the Mall's best kept secret! A fantastic place for a chat over coffee or a beer! Staff are lovely and the food is delicious -- great vibe!
M. F.
Only got a coffee, but the service was quick, personable, and polite. The coffee was excellent, maybe the best coffee I've ever had. The chairs were also very comfortable.
A. N.
The restaurant filled up fairly quickly. Our server was very pleasant and was available when needed. The lunch came out quickly and exactly how requested it.
K. K. (. T.
Definitely my favorite place in Brisbane CBD. friendly staff great food very reasonable price for everything. Atmosphere is fantastic!!! Definitely recommend to anyone that wants comfortable and nice place to chat with friends in Brisbane CBD.
J. M.
Tucked away down a little alley, they serve some real good coffee and some great food, always worth a visit. Been a dozen times and would happily go a dozen more.
a. g.
Fantastic vibe. The usual bar food
T. B.
Hidden in Burnett lane Brew provides necessary escapism for office folk seeking a moment of escapism and a hardy/strong 'Brew'. Unlike some other laneway establishments, Brew has quality furnishings, a clean and trendy interior that is free of strange smells. For Brisbane people this is very cool and novel but for those that frequent Melbourne the novelty may be lost.
D. W.
Great ambience and vibe. Breakfast and coffee was very nice and served very very quick.
B. D. O. T. H.
Great coffee, nice atmosphere, will come again. Oldies may not enjoy the ambience so much, just a heads up, but the under 40 crowd should fit right in!
A. W.
The Captain Planet Vegetarian burger with sweet potato chips is awesome and great value. Quick and friendly service. Fun place.
L. R. E.
Very funky place with great coffee. As it is located down a lane way, you only find out about it from friends and recommendations. Has the feeling of a Melbourne lane way cafe.
P. Z.
Had Iced Mocha which is pretty decent. There weren't any food served at the time of my visit, probably around 3pm. It can get a little stuffy inside, maybe due to the kitchen ventilation ain't that good? :/
J. C.
Always love coming here. The vibe is beautiful, food and coffee delicious, just an overall great time 😊
A. B.
Really cool little place, Coffee was good and I liked the set they serve it in, as well as the decor and shop itself. Staff are friendly.
T. K.
Good place. Would benefit from having more independent, local craft beer available. Also, when people are waiting both staff behind the bar should be serving customers.
T. M.
Great service, nothing too much trouble. Coffee perfect and jackfruit burger was absolutely delicious!
m.
Stopped here for breakfast. I had the breakfast burger while my wife had the big breakfast.
Both meals were very filling. Coffee is also delicious.
J. H.
This place has such an awesome atmosphere and it's tucked away in an alley. I had a cold brew here it was wonderful and presention was excellent. I will come back again.
C. K.
One of the best bars in Brisbane.
Not for the great location,
Not for the high quality drinks,
But for the amazing staff.
M. L.
Brew is the closest Brisbane comes to a subterranean dive. Limited tap beers but the amber I had was excellent and the Brew Burger (from the very limited menu) was delicious and the sweet potato fries that came with it were as crispy as they can be.
J. H.
Amazing breakfast, good service and nice environment
T. F.
Loved the music choices, from the warm greeting I received when I arrived to the scrumptious food and drinks I was recommended.... nothing here can be faulted. I can't wait to come here again.
C. M.
A little gem tucked away in the heart of Brisbane City. Very decent coffee and proper customer service. Toilet facilities exceptionally clean.
E. C. (.
food here is splendid. the coffee is perky. the entrance is an alley way. the cafe is underground. how much more hipster could it be. oh its hidden in the middle of the city. cool!
T. S.
Food and drink was great.
Staff on point.
Little loud and a bit tight on space.
L. Y. L.
Price: ★★★☆☆ (Pricey; get 30% off using EatClub)
Portion: ★★★★☆ (Generous)
Taste: ★★★★☆ (Good; I recommend the waffles and pork burger; mac-n-cheese is not tasty though)
Ambiance: ★★★☆☆ (Dark, which is to be expected for a bar)
Service: ★★★☆☆ (Everything is self-service)
L. L.
Even though the ally way is kind of sketchy while your walking there, keep walking because when you get there it is a LOVELY place!
Great job brew cafe & wine!
A. S.
I think I'm in love with the chef who makes that all day breakfast burger
A. L.
The Haloumi burger was a flavour sensation! So filling and the coffee was good! Almost missed it down the alleyway, follow the music!
P. H.
Great place, hidden down an unlikely looking laneway. Good food, drinks and a full bar. Staff are friendly and music just right for a fun atmosphere
M. A.
Cosy and warm. They make the best sweet potato fries!
A. M.
Asked a girl on the street holding a coffee cup where she got her coffee from and she recommended brew. You won’t be disappointed, great service, food and atmosphere.
T. H.
Lovely food and coffee. Staff were friendly and efficient.
D. H.
Good little hideaway with great food and coffee
a.
What a surprise when I found this place down the lane, I didn’t realise how big the space was until I turned the corner past the kitchen and went into the bar with chilled couches and rad art hanging on the walls. This place is a must visit and well worth the find.
G. N.
Great beer, food, service but the kitchen shuts early so planning to go for dinner can be risky. I missed the cutoff twice - probably won't risk it again.
R.
Came here for breakfast while on holiday. Biggest and best breakfast burger I have had. Perfectly cooked (added burger cheese).
G.
Such a awesome place and vibe. Great coffee and loved the buffalo wing.
C. L.
Tucked away in the heart of Brisbane. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Good soundtrack.
A. W.
Good coffee and great vibe! It's a nice place to chill with friends with good music and funky style 😊
C. S. (.
The bar itself is not overly crowded, a very nice atmosphere, the staff was friendly anfmd the service was good, sadly the music was a bit too loud to be able to have a conversation...
But overall a good and nice experience.
K. R.
Little hideaway bar with lots of cool artwork and cosy couches to sink into while you enjoy a drink. Great food selection with some vegan/veggie options.
M. E.
Great vibes and comfortable intimate seating. Music whether live or not is relaxed. Fairly good selection of food and drinks available.
J. W.
Easily one of my favourite bars in Brisbane. Good food, fast service, and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

A.
Nice place, great service, delicious breakfast and coffee!

Great little cafe. Yummy coffee. The girl that served me was lovely and chatty. It could be tricky to find. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely find it next time I am in Brissy CBD 😁
M. H.
Nice atmosphere for breakfast, good service, nothing wrong with the avo on toast. I've had better coffees, but it was fine.
Good but not great.

Great place to sit back and enjoy the food in a quiet and secluded location

Whether you're looking for a brekkie or a nice happy hour, Brew is the place to go. Great music, atmosphere, food, coffee, art on the wall and the staff is always helpful.
S. M.
Great lil bespoke place looks inconspicuous but when u turn the corner no kiddies (gen Y) best part and it's a great vibe, great staff, drinks are o point get there but don't tell everyone about it
C. F.
Great vibe, great coffee, great food, great staff - the only downer of this place is they don't split bills. Still, definitely worth a visit.
P. M.
Had the big breakfast. Very nice. Good size.
Good coffee although I thought that the coffee was a bit overpriced at $7.
J. R.
I love this place and its new menu, genuine hospitality and A+ coffee. My perfect get away while in the city
E. S.
A great little hidden gem. Moody lighting and great atmosphere. Would return!
M.
Awesome little hidden cafe. Good coffee and regularly updated menu. Almost don't want to review this, lest the secret be spoiled.
M. V. D.
The vegan zucchini fritters are epic 🤤
C. S.
Staff are always helpful, food is consistent and fresh, beer selection is always good and the atmosphere pleasingly low-key. Love it!
E. B.
Brew is a hidden haunt on the lower end of Burnett Lane. Don't be put off by the fact that the entry looks like a driveway to a carpark (because it actually is!). What started as a hole-in-the-wall has since expanded into an full café and wine bar. Get both your morning caffeine hit and your after-work drinks in the same place.
M. O.
A pearl of Brisbane cafes! This hidden from tourist place serves one of the best coffee in the city and delicious breakfasts. Stop for pancakes with maple syrup.
M. F.
Been here 3 times now with different friends, everytime I visit the staff are amazing, and the food is fantastic, my favourite brunch place currently
K. M.
Yummy breakfast menu, good vibes with really cool artwork on the walls. Fun place to catchup with friends and is a super convenient location.
V. B.
The mushroom toastie is delicious!
P. C.
Reliably great coffee and one of the most pleasant cafes to chill in Brisbane city.
J. M.
Great bar tucked away on Burnett Lane - my fav of all the bars visited in Brisbane. Awesome vibe and friendly staff
G. S.
Delicious food & great beer. Friendly & professional staff.
A bit too dark for my eyes though.
C. M.
Love this place. Lovely little place to catch up with friends. Good food, good atmosphere, good coffee!
B. C.
Awesome little cozy place away from the city craziness. Hip and quirky. Friendly staff. Great food. Reasonable prices
N. R.
My colleagues and I often have a breakfast here. We love the cosy atmosphere and the friendly staff.
M. D.
Haloumi bagel 🤤😍 delicious coffee. Friendly staff. 10/10 👌
J. S.
The best Brisbane has to offer of atmosphere-setting underground bar cafes and they do just that, very well. The bean they use is top and the background playlists, more than fitting.
A. C.
