Excellent iced long black. Really solid big breakfast (called The English here). The portion size was great, as was the taste. Cafe food as it should be -- not all about the presentation. Prices fairly standard. Free wifi. Staff leave you be. All around I give it a big recommendation.

Food Quality: 4 Stars Service: 4 Stars Atmosphere: 3.5 Stars A nice selection of breakfast and lunch menu items, reasonably priced with very filling portions. Ingredients used in meals weren't particularly impressive. The club sandwich came out with meats colder than I expected which cooled the bacon and toast down. Lettece was dry and off colour, beetroot was tinned and cheese was ordinary. But still a decent bite and a large portion, with a delicious serving of crispy chicken-salted chips. Staff were polite and helpful, and food was brought out quickly with well made coffees. The venue itself is quite small, with inside and outside seating and lightly decitated with old-time photos of the area during early Brisbane.

Stopped for just coffee and cheesecake and very impressed. Home made vanilla cheesecake is delicious and dam good cappuccino. Staff very attentive and food came quickly even though they were busy . Definitely come again .

Nice interior, awesome food, reasonable price, except for the coffee unfortunately. It may just be an incident that my soy flat white just didn't taste right. Didn't manage to finish it. However, the food is definitely worth a second visit.
