Fantastic coffee breakfast board and delicious matcha latte. Ham and cheese croissant was great but unfortunately the almond croissant tasted a bit old. Otherwise a great place - a cute cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoors as it was raining that morning. When we arrived there was a long line-up but surprisingly we didn't have to wait too long for our food and drink which shows how efficient the staff are!

Quaint cafe tuck in between a quiet lane along busy George St. I like the rustic ambience. An oasis in the CBD. Had the chili Crab Scrambled egg and flat white. Very tasty, not your usual breakfast flavour but in a good way. Coffee was on the bitter side. I would prefer it to be a little under. Overall a good place. Will be back for its lunch menu.

This place is great! Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots to choose from on the menu and heaps of places to sit. You can sit inside or head outside down the back where there are heaps of seating options in a really beautiful area. Totally worth stopping in if you’re close by.

Great service, location, staff and attention to detail. Was a quiet place in the CBD - found on a whim but will definitely make an effort to come back. I've already had family and friends ask about this spot. Food is a twist on breakfast with Asian inspired tones. Finished my meal which is surprisingly as I usually need help finishing my food. Ordered bacon on top and it was well worth the extra $. Tried the coffee tasting platter - I preferred the milk house coffee and so they brought me out a complimentary coffee on the house! After asking which was my favourite, I realised they thought I didn't like the black coffees. Very polite staff and they genuinely want to know your feedback. Please come here if you want to have a catch up with a mate. I suspect this place will get more crowded because it has all the ideals you're looking for in the perfect cafe.

Enjoyed our foodie catchup at this iconic location, despite some initial disappointment with food selection. We perused their online menu prior to our date, and some had their hearts set on specific dishes, however we discovered upon arrival that the in-store menu was quite different to what we saw on their website, with items like the yuzu soba nowhere to be found. I went with the baked cheese spicy beef. Others on the table also chose the lemon creamy salmon pasta and the fresh crab and prawn egg sandwich. The food plating and presentation is lovely and all items included some flowers, complementing the garden setting of the main seating area at the back of the cafe. It’s a little oasis of cool and calm that you would not be able to tell if you just walked past the shopfront, so I was glad to have finally experienced it for myself after hearing much of this place. I wouldn’t say I loved my choice of dish, though it was fine as a meal. Had samples of the other dishes and they’re all pretty decent. I’m no authority on the topic but I hear their coffee is pretty top-notch. All up I think it’s a place I would be happy to return to from time to time, as I feel it offers a good overall package of food and ambience. They also have a pastries cabinet which I might try next time. As a bonus we paid via Payo and got 15% off. Found this place by chance, but definitely coming back! Coffee was excellent, garlic prawn pasta was amazing and the hidden garden atmosphere is wonderful.

Cute little garden cafe. Went on a rather gloomy day, but the atmosphere was still nice. There's a fair amount of seating, but there are some 2-seater tables alongside the path that are resting unevenly on the pebbles. Definitely uncomfortable, and the table was slanted, but if you're a patient person, you can either wait for a table in a stable area, or battle it out! The food and service was excellent. I didn't know what I was missing till I have the sous vide poached eggs. They were perfectly cooked, and consistent throughout. The yolk was perfectly jammy; I personally prefer runny yolks, but this was a perfect middle ground for runny and firm yolk lovers. Spread perfectly on my toast without losing a single drop! I will definitely come here again!

Tried the crab, egg and avocado sandwich at Coffee Iconic. It was well presented, the flavours were perfect and very fresh. The only things that were disappointing were the sweet potato fries which weren't crispy and the lack of crab meat in the sandwich. It's a bit pricey at $20 but this is a nice cafe that's located in the city. Definitely worth a try.

Exceptional coffee here. Food is an afterthought. David the barista is truly wonderful and has great knowledge. This coffee stands out far above the other shops on George St. @iconic, the Ratatouille baked egg needs something something to shake up the flavors. Teriyaki mushroom was good. I appreciate the chef making proper crispy bacon when asked.

The food and service were perfect. I was at the courthouse and popped across the street to the Iconic Cafe for a late breakfast. I ordered the eggs on toast with bacon and avocado. The eggs were perfect. Quite runny, just how I like them. Bacon was also perfect, crisp but not hard. The location is relaxing. The space in the alleyway between the Iconic and the neighboring building has been converted into a long but narrow peaceful dining area with intimate tables for 1 or 2 poeple to comfortably sit and enjoy a quiet meel.

Such a unique cafe in the Brisbane CBD. Beyond its ordinary front exterior, walk down its side alleyway to a gorgeous open garden with plenty of seating amongst the trees! I was pleasantly surprised that this place truely is as good as it looks. We weren’t wowed with their menu, as it was quite limited- so we opted for one of their cabinet items: a raspberry pistachio croissant. Wow! It was so delicious, glad we got it warmed. We also got two coffees, a cappuccino and decaf vanilla latte. The vanilla latte was a little sour, however my cap was perfect! One of the best coffees I’ve had in a while. I think the exterior is what makes this cafe so memorable, it really is so peaceful to sit and enjoy a cup in the sun! There are also so many cabinet items, so if nothing picks your fancy on the menu.. you’re in luck. Would love if the staff were a little more friendly and inviting, but regardless we really enjoyed our time here!!

love love love the decor and location of this cafe!!!! a hidden leafy shady cafe within the bustling Brisbane city~ a real relaxing escape from the noise~ ordered very berry and lemon ice tea as drinks~ both were delicious🥰 for food we ordered the fresh crab and prawn egg sandwich, teppanyaki prawn rice noodle and eggs on toast with added bacon and mushrooms~ sandwich was pretty good~ the brioche bread is a weird combination and may be odd to some people, sweet bread along side with eggs is a bit weird, sweet potato chips on the side were nice but the white sauce that comes with it is not teppanyaki prawn rice noodle was alright, a bit lacking in flavour and just not really the best noodle dish~ eggs on toast was yummy!! eggs cooked perfectly and added bacon and mushrooms were a lovely addition~ overall, 4 stars given for the friendly customer service and lovely location of the cafe, food is somewhat mediocre but the presentation of each one was so beautiful!!

A long black with Ethiopian beans was great. I stopped for takeaway coffee just 10minutes before they close however, they were all smiling to serve my coffee. Coffee Iconic was an absolute treat for our team of 20. We went to Coffee Iconic for a brunch spread, and they certainly delivered. They were incredibly accommodating on the day and in the lead up, and they were approachable when we needed some changes (minimal at best), as the food and coffee all spoke for itself. It is located in a beautiful spot in the city between buildings, and opens up to a courtyard in the back. A true escape from the city at the best of times (we were lucky it was also a sunny day). My colleagues and I still raved about the food when we returned to work this week. Thank you for hosting us, and for the wonderful service and food/drink spread!

This may just be the coolest cafe in the Brisbane CBD. It's got a great courtyard in the rear that has plenty of seating, is beautifully shaded under trees, and is a lovely quiet spot to sit and enjoy a coffee. Food is good, coffee is great (get the tasting board, well worthwhile).

A very peaceful and picturesque cafe tucked away from the streets of Brisbane. Lots of greenery and seating to choose from, suitable for groups. No extra charge for different milks and coffee tastes great. They provide one vegan option which is a granola bar. Free water and magazines are also provided. Not all seating is under cover so rain may be an issue as well as ants. Overall a great place to relax and meet up with friends.

I've been here for coffee 3x now and every time its been great. The staff are always happy and smiling. Food is very reasonably priced and the garden fown the path and out the back is gorgeous. This place has such a lovely atmosphere. It's really great to catch up with friends. However, if you drink soy milk, be wary. I'd guess 60% of the time my soy flat white is burnt to hell. Working with non-dairy milk can be difficult and I just don't think they've investing in training their staff on how to do it.

We will see you again.If you are willing to get off the paved walkway and onto the wooded trails you are in for a true hiking delight. The Owl's Roost Trail is about 5 miles and hugs the lake shoreline much of the way. A few challenging spots will get your heart pumping. You can really get away from it all and still be only 10 minutes from downtown Greensboro.

I went here at someone else's suggestion, for an informal business meeting. The setting was nice, sitting in the enclosed brick alleyway - it made me a little homesick for London, truth be told. Going further down into the leafy garden area at the back wasn't too great though, as it smelt like old damp laundry for some reason. The coffee was fantastic (the food rating is just for the coffee), but the lemon and poppy seed muffin was decidedly below par, with the icing tasting a bit plastic-y. I'll definitely be back, but I'll stick to the coffee, and the nice seat in the brick alleyway.

The food and coffee is no more overpriced than the average hipster eatery, and in far better surrounds than most. Surprisingly spacious eating area with a pleasantly tree filled courtyard. The poached eggs are cooked at a strict 63 degrees which is ESSENTIAL for organic egg proteins to create optimal mouth-feel and taste. One criticism would be the size of the micro-greens which were slightly too large for my liking. I want micro-greens to be so small that you could accidentally inhale them and not even notice. Micro-greens are wasted in your stomach, it is better that they be taken in through the lungs directly into the blood-stream. Sometimes I see people eating regular sized vegetables and think 'wow what an idiot', if that sounds like you, you're going to love this place.

Went here for lunch today, we each had a different selection from the gourmet burgers; the hallumi, the cheeseburger and the chicken burger... all were amazing and very quickly served up. My friend required gluten free bread, no issues and no extra charge, and my other friend had a coffee which she said was excellent. Service was great, the back garden is so nice and feels a million miles from the CBD. Free Wifi too, which I used to get my Entertainment book app working (BOGOF on main courses)... Highly recommended.
