Comments of Dragonfly Cafe

One of our meals was great, ( the waffles) but its a fairly simple direction of sunny side up for eggs & they come out fried. In regards to the host who greeted us, he came off as quite abrupt & a little rude. And it didn't appear to be that busy. this may have been a one off experience though as I've never been before. The setting was lovely, located inside a nursery.

Beautiful setting, excellent service, wonderful coffee but the highlight was the Belgian waffles 😱😱😱 freshly made freshly cooked ....ohhhhh blissful.

Was feeling very blue when a dear friend invited me for breakfast here. It was really nice, I had probably the best banana caramel milkshake here with a chicken parmi which was just what I needed. This place has a warm place in my heart now :) I will be visiting again.

A little upmarket Cafe with an extensive display of more manageable plants for the all important green foliage displays. Lovely water fountain in the lake area. Not sure where the goanna have gone to though.

My favourite coffee shop in the area! beautiful nursery and decor shop. Highly recommended

Hidden inside the beautiful Eden Plants nursery, and overlooking a ducks' pond, the Dragonfly Cafe is a place to relax, or socialise, in a fresh setting that is sure to impress. Never mind the lizards, they're completely friendly, and enjoy something delicious: you are in for an absolute treat.

Really nice place for breakfast and lunch.
Pet friendly.

Awesome cafe in a tranquil setting. Service was very professional and the food simply amazing! Perfect place for breakfast or lunch.
A. V.
Ordered a BLT from all day brunch menu and was very impressed at the serving size and wonderful service. The atmosphere was amazing too. In today's weather it felt like I was dining at a rainforest restaurant. Great place!
C. D.
Nice surroundings with generally a few water dragons hanging around for a feed. Friendly staff located in the nursery
L. D.
Very generous meals....brunch delicious, coffee & cakes well received. Green lush surrounds, great gift store, wide variety plants in adjoining nursery, staff welcoming efficient.
B. H.
Great food, beautiful deck overlooking water feature and a variety of homewares and plants
J. W.
Lovely surroundings , great staff but, too expensive, not a great choice, massive meals, none of us could finish them.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good service. Great food and drinks.

Wow I cannot believe I have never visited here before now. Been in Brissy for nearly 13 years!!! Beautiful scenery. Lots of Water Dragons around. Eels in the water. Nice food just a little pricey and surcharge on weekends.
L. M.
So good. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food. Well priced and staff are fantastic
Q. T.
Surprisingly fine dining. Initially unsure about the quality of food as it was quite expensive, but was surprised by the quality. A little too expensive but glad we experienced it
P. B.
Enjoyed fish and chips on a wide open verandah with view of pool and fountain.
J.
Great service and food and coffee are amazing, well worth a visit.
D. B.
Great spot here at Eden Gardens. Definitely recommend
J. C.
A great spot for breakfast with a tranquil environment. However, I feel the meals are a bit overpriced.

We visited this place on the 23 rd Nov 2020 for my Birthday lunch.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was more than we could eat and was delicious.
The waiter went out of his way to make us feel special, he had us in fits of laughter with his funny sense of humor, when he found out it was my Birthday he filled my wine glass up again.
Thank you Dragonfly Café for making my Birthday special.
We will be back again for sure.

Monique was especially amazing and made sure that my experience was one to remember!! Come here for her amazing coffee, she definitely is the best and this cafe should be proud of her.😀
C. H.
Lovely space, great coffee and cake. Sadly on a budget there were not many food options to choose from. Keep an eye out for the dragon :)
S. K.
Love working at Dragonfly cafe 2 Years now doing my apprentice chef.
H. D.
Beautiful. A sauce/syrup with the pancakes would be fabulous.

Pleasant surroundings with the water fountain being a nice distraction to the road noise. Walk into a gift shop with the cafe nestled just out the back with the nursery playing a subtle part of the backdrop. Staff seemed friendly, the food selection was good. Food portions were ample, but somewhat pricey with a 10% surcharge for a weekend meal. The wildlife aka water dragons looked well feed too.
M. M.
Lovely setting amid greenery and overlooking a duck pond. Breakfast menu was good, but two butter serves dumped into the breakfast delish weren't an enhancement. Service was minimal - especially disappointing as there is a 10% surcharge on weekends. This makes it expensive for poor service.....
I. I.
Lovely cool breeze, tyoe feeling out on the deck over the pond.
Look out for the very colourful watwr-dragon's waiting for a spare piece of fantasticly cooked bacon and poached eggs! (Those free range, 'organic' eggs are 100% perfectly poached, balls of gooey deliciousness on toast!)
S. O.
Great food in generous servings, we couldn't finish our meals. Lovely garden surroundings with accommodating and friendly staff.
T. C.
Beautiful Cafe to relax by the water fountain & admire the gardens whilst sipping a Latte.
D.
Venue pleasant garden and water with fountain . Cafe fare standard menu with specialty of the day. Food fine Staff friendly Has plant nursery on site with shop for plant accessories
G.
Service, food and price very good. Particularly liked the outdoor setting on a Spring day in amongst the water feature, surrounding plants and local wildlife, namely the Eastern Water Dragons!
T. Y.
Love the spot it's beautiful. The food is not good. Don't get anything expensive it's a waste of money, the holindase sauce on the eggs bennie looked & tasted like it was made of plastic. The eggs are obviously pre cooked. The green tea is stale and the fritters were cold in the centre. Go for the view, a coffee and a shop. Not to eat.
P. M.
Good little cafe, they do a brilliant all you can eat breakfast but the lunch menu is a little bit pricey and a little bit lacking in substance.
Beautiful walk through the garden center and the staff really know their stuff. Definitely worth a look especially if you have a green thumb.
E. R.
Ive always had good coffee and food here. Nice and relaxed food area in amongst beautiful gardens and some wildlife, cant complain at all. Staff have always been friendly, good place to come for a relaxing meal or coffee and cake with family and the kids.
M. S.
Had breakfast here. Lovely atmosphere with the garden in the background. They had gluten free options that I enjoyed with no cross contamination. Service was alright. The staff aren’t overly friendly, however I would still recommend as it is a great spot.

The scones that Nicole makes are the absolute best, definitely award winners if only she would enter. I am sure the rest of the food must also be delicious but I just can't pass on the scones everytime I go. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are great and only too happy to please. Recommend highly.
B. W.
Love this venue, the new menu is delicious and service friendly and professional. It has returned better than before. Well done staff and management.
A. K.
Great food. Great service. Beautiful serene atmosphere. We loved it.
T. H.
Not the best place to eat, bring your own salt & pepper shakers the few they have are not the best. one staff member serving was great the rest ho hum
the menu lacks a decent selection ( bit like the plants)
the place is just a bit tired , it was a great place 4-5 years ago
A. F.
Nice venue. The food is over priced.
The garden centre is a little gem
J. M.
Venue is in a superb leafy location, and the staff very obliging. The lunch menu is relatively restricted, and the prices are just way over the top. I would probably only go there for coffee and cake these days. Too expensive.
S. F.
Great setting. Lunch delicious ..chose special of the day. Service and staff good. Able to have good conversations without background clamour. Took interstate visitors.
M. B.
Awesome food and service.
G. J.
Great coffee and the food looks sublime. Located in Edens Garden nursery which is a gorgeous location. I could have spent all day wandering around.
R. D. M.
The grilled salmon is really good. Not cheap, but great place for lunch with family or friends. Cater for both gluten and garlic intolerances.
C. M.
Meals were beautifully presented, fresh and tasty. Portions were larger than expected! Lovely setting and well mannered staff.
I. M.
great food and reasonable prices. Very friendly staff with great service.
B. B.
Very cute venue! Great food and lovely outdoor dining area. Definitely recommend trying the chicken burger...game changer.
S. H.
Limited menu and breakfast choices were quite expensive. Atmosphere was nice but would not go again, $20 for bacon and eggs that were just OK...
C. S.
Nice hidden little place. Food is good, the surroundings is nice too. Have a little park for the kids, and you can also buy some plants in the nursery/flower shop, if you are in the mood.

A. A.
We went to meet friends there for breakfast,I had the full English it was ok, nothing special, and a drink, but it was quite expensive, could of got a cheaper breakfast at Coffee club
R. O.
Food was ok, a bit pricey but large meals can't go past a $15.95 seniors fish and chips why can't I be 80
K. G.
Great atmosphere. Good food. If you like water dragons, then you would love the resident dragon.
t. o.
Very nice meals. Menu was a bit limited. Great service.
J. Q.
A nice quite place to have breakfast amongst the plants if you're lucky the dragons will come out and play.
