After exiting the ferry on 07/09/21 & called into End Of The Road Coffee, unfortunately I only had time for a short visit in ordering one Cappuccino. Beautiful views around New Farm Park.

An unassuming little cafe next to New Farm Park. We popped in to watch the flooded Brisbane River from their deck. We decided to share the double bacon egg and cheese burger deal including fries. Probably the nicest burger we’ve had in a long time, tasty and juicy, and the fries were perfect as well. We both had coffees to wash it all down. Don’t recall the brand but they were really, really good too. Cost $27 was maybe a little high but we were happy to pay for the view. Recommended place to visit.

Great location by the river and close to the ferry terminal. Public toilets available nearby, at rear of cafe. Coffee is average and I had takeaway raisin toast, one thick slice $4, it was average and poorly presented, just thrown in a brown paper bag! I asked for a cup of hot water for my own herbal tea and was first told that was only available for dine in customers. I explained that I was not dining in and was told that I could get a takeaway cup of hot water for $1. I took up the offer as I had no alternative, I think that $1 is unreasonable for a cup of hot water. I won’t be going back! I found the staff unwelcoming and uncooperative.

Definitely not the best cafe, the spoons weren’t clean at all, so we didn’t used them. The croissant and the cappuccino were decent. But the banana bread didn’t taste at all, wasn’t really toasted and didn’t seemed probably baked at all. The staff however is nice and welcoming.

Nice atmosphere, coffee is average for the price you can get better and bigger coffee portions for cheaper just up the road. Staff were friendly though☺️

Stopped here for a cuppa and some carrot cake. Coffee, view and staff were on point. I cycled here which there are spots for bikes to lock by. Only downfall is there aren't many car parks so if streets are full then you may have a longer walk than expected. Besides that, primo location.

I love this place. It has some indoor seating but it is wonderful to sit out on the deck watching the world go by on the river and in the park. The coffee is great and there is a small but good menu of food with lovely looking cakes. I have only had the raisin toast as there's a good deal with a cup of coffee. Last but not at all least, the service is kind and friendly. Oh and cycle and dog friendly.

Coffee serves quite fast and not bad. Open weekend and provided a few choices of pastry, raisin toasts, banana bread,sourdough and crossiant. Dock can allow dog in.

The cafe is in a nice location. The muffins are decent and no different to any other cafe. The acai drinks are average, and I've had better. The service is okay. I may have given this place four stars, but the prices are a bit unreasonable. Ultimately it's a decent place to stop if you want a drink, but I wouldn't advise coming to New Farm specifically to eat here.

Average cafe in a prime location. Had a coffee which was acceptable I suppose. Didn’t order anything on the menu as nothing really appealed to me. Disappointed. The location deserves somewhere much better.

Last day of 2020, sitting on the deck under a shady tree, cooled by the river breeze on a hot summer’s day. The river and surrounding parklands were an idilic backdrop for coffee and cake, while enjoying a very long chat with an old friend. Actually, I had a delicious chai latte and a gf choc brownie. Farewell to an interesting year!

Pleasant sitting on the deck, with a good view across the Brisbane River. I wanted sparkling water but all they had available was bottled water or sugary soft drinks. My companion reported that the coffee was good.

Lovely service though only average coffee. Felt like it would be a bit nicer given the other products they include on their menu (organic/prebiotic etc) though coffee was very intense, and not in a good way. My sister who will nearly drink anything opted out after two mouthfuls.

Great location and the food was all good. BLT was impressive even. Overall though everything seems a bit run down and lunch menu was limited in choice. Coffee was nice and I would come back. I just feel like there is opportunity missed in upping the menu quality and perhaps upping the service quality a bit more.

After 10km walking by the river, you may end up to this little cosy cafe with amazing view of the river and endolge yourself with light healthy breakfast. We tried museli and it was great. Coffee was nice too.

Staff are always fabulous. Coffee is great. Great little place to grab breakfast or a snack after a morning walk/ ride in Newfarm or before you jump on the ferry. Early bird discounts keep them busy.

I've only done coffee here and it was a large iced latte and seemed quite expensive. It was $7 which seems extremely high for an iced latte. I may have gotten lactose free milk which may add to the price, but again a lot of money for some coffee, milk and ice!

Best bacon I've had in a long time!!! Perfect crispiness and coffee was really great. The atmosphere is really good and I would definitely recommend. The avocado on toast was really yummy make sure you add a side of bacon :)

The End of the Road looks out over the river, alongside the edge of a large park. It's a lovely setting, with a simple but good menu. I'm having a steak and Guinness filo pastry, and the veggie fritata and a coffee. All the food was very nice. It's lovely sitting here watching the ferries come and go.

Delicious fresh smothies! Just on the New Farm citycat stop and you can Just enjoy the vire of the park and the river. Normally they are quite busy, so you'll be lucky to get a spot.

Nice location by the water.. But they don't know how to make a real flat white.. One shot w over steamed milk..I had to ask for an extra shot and they actually bothered to charge me 50 cents.. I wouldn't mind if they didn't just waste the second shot anyway.. So strange.. Might as well make it in a one shot portafilter.. the flavor was not there either despite the extra shot.. they were not rude just a bit clueless.. Shame because it's a great spot and the only one in that area by the water aside from an expensive restaurant nearby

This is a great cafe next to the Citycat ferry terminal at New Farm. Or catch the free City Hopper ferry from North Quay or Southbank 3 to Sydney Street terminal and then enjoy a peaceful walk along the river and along the road to New Farm Park to this cafe on the river.
