Excellent cafe. Service is always impeccable. Coffee standard is always high. Although the blend might not be as strong as other places, it is very smooth. I have had countless coffees here and only a few have ever been average. Which is even more impressive because of the minimal wait time even when busy. The food is also delicious. Great variety of food for a small cafe too. Highly recommend.

Busy around smoko time (unsurprisingly)but the staff are on top of things and get the coffee to u pretty quickly. I’ve been coming here for years and they’ve only managed to stuff up my order 2 or 3 times but came good with an apology and a free coffee. Life’s too short to get cranky over a missed cafe order 😁. Thanks team BTW it’s a mystery to me how they get the coffee to tables without a table number ????

I visited here with my colleague to grab a coffee before going into a meeting. I ordered a long black with one shot only as I wanted my coffee not strong at all. Due to the meeting I had near the shop, I could not finish it, but I did not want to waste it and asked for a takeaway cup. This gentleman at the counter said they could not offer takeaway as they are not allowed for a takeaway order. He kindly offered me to come back after my meeting so that he can make a coffee again for free of charge! It was such a kind offer and made my day. Although I was rushing to return to my office after the meeting I had near this shop, and was not able to get the free coffee, I really appreciated for the offer.

Excellent coffee always get the milk texture just right for a latte. Surprisingly quick for how busy it gets. Vegan toastie is perfect for breakfast (and I'm not even a vegan or vegetarian).

Espresso Engine is one of my favourite Coffee Shop in Brisbane CBD. The coffee is great, the service is excellence. Surrounded by many offices, this coffee shop can be very crowded during peak hour, especially morning time. However, don't judge by the long queue, because their service is also very fast. There are usually 3 person serving as front liners welcoming & write your order ; another dedicated baristas are preparing your coffee. Oh, I love their colour of the cup : orange! 😊

A good spot for a really quick bite and a coffee.. The service is unbelievable, there are a billion staff behind the counter, and everyone knows what's going on.. The staff are always personable, and seem to have fun. Considering how busy they are, they don't really need any reviews, there is always a coffee queue even at 7am (but the turnaround is amazingly quick). Breakfast meals are simple (toast, heated rolls and toasties)..the price is good, but considering the simplicity off the meals it'd want to be. Espresso Engine is located in the foyer of the Aurecon building, the building itself (and the cafe seating area) is incredible! The atmosphere and lighting is a great feature. Coffee from here is average in my opinion, and varies greatly. Still, if you're after a quick feed and a hit drink, it's worth a look.. Or if you just want to see how efficiently a cafe can be run, check them out at peak time (8:30 to 9:00 weekdays)! unbelievable!
