Nice little cafe in Charlotte St. Not much seating but they mostly do takeaway coffee and food. The food is nice and very reasonable prices for breakfast and lunch. I like the interior design which is simple and minimal. The service was prompt as well which is greatly appreciated.

Their daily fresh cooked muffins are the best in the Brisbane metropolitan area. Trust me, I have checked. Each is packed with their respective star ingredient and the base is never too sweet. Top is often caramelized and crusty. Amazing. Their coffee as a whole is above average, the bean they use is a great staple for daily cups. However, they fall down a little when texturing the milk. Some days great others, not so. Service is often impeccable. All in all, one of the better places to get your morning brew in the city.

I saw the chalk board outside the cafe with toasted sandwich or muffin with a coffee for five dollars. Either choices were " Bacon, with bacon, and added bacon". The waiter, photographed in the black t shirt & lip piercing called me "love" before he took my order. "My name is Michelle" I said. But he continued to call me " love". I guess he calls all the patrons "love" because to him, they are all the same. I ordered a tomato toasted sandwich. It seemed there was a young lady of the moment with fal$e eyelashes seated at a long dining table with the proprietor (?) photographed wearing the hot pink shirt. You might find a propensity of proprietary for Purveyers of Private Parts Possessions. I needed to use the ladies bathroom. The waiter insisted he show me where it is. I said I will find it, while they make my order. I browsed the menu. They do have other muffins, but they weren't on special. I took a few photos. A siloette of film noir lady leaning against the wall seemingly my$terious. Can't complain, an inexpensive brunch. Go easy on calling everyone love, Mr. Waiter.
