Great little Austrian cafe. Plenty of parking and a warm greeting upon arrival and table service. The food is delightful and there is a massive variety. We were served by Ash and she was extremely attentive, friendly, and provided wonderful service. Lovely atmosphere and well worth the trip.

Great local restaurant We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at this local Sinnamon Park restaurant. The lovely outdoor balcony was full of families and a piano accordion player in lederhosen - which gave it an almost authentic beer garden feel. The food was delicious and the service was super friendly! This is Austrian cheer and hospitality at it's best!!

For A in our trip around the world in Brisbane we chose Austria, and so we found ourselves at K&K. The restaurant is located at the Sinnamon Park local shops, which offer convenient parking. Seating is well spaced and airy, mostly being on a covered deck that offers a late 80's - early 90's feel. The menu is extensive, which I can only imagine would make it challenging to manage stock and maintain quality. I had goulasch (beef shin braised in paprika sauce with a dumpling), and my lunch partners had a Vienna schnitzel with kipfler potato salad. To drink I had an Austrian beer, which was very enjoyable, and my dining partner had a Vienna coffee, which she also enjoyed. I'm advised that the schnitzel was "fine" and so was the goulasch. The dumpling seemed to have been made some time earlier, but was not bad. In hindsight I should have expected that... For desert we had an apple strudel and a cherry crumble tart. Both were fine, but I wish the strudel was a bit richer in spice. The presentation was a little cafeteria like. I suspect that cutting the menu down by half or to a third of its size would enable the chef to offer some amazing Austrian fare. While not out of this world, the $80 bill seemed a shade more than what was justified by the quality. After getting ourselves into the mood with some Austrian yodeling folk music on our way there, the local radio background music seemed like a bit of a letdown, TBH. Visually the dining space could be lifted with some Austrian cues to extend the Austrian theme in the point of sale area. The floor staff were all polite and genuinely sought to ensure we were well tended to. The lady from the kitchen who managed my payment got a bit flustered about something that didn't need to be a problem, and was uncomfortably gruff with the waiter that started my payment process, but remained polite with me. Please respect your staff. It's free, and reflects well on you. If you're up for some Austrian food and you're in the area, consider giving K&K a go.

Sensational lunch today! Food and service were excellent. The 7 of us had a wide selection from the menu, enjoyed them all. The Austrian wines were fabulous. We all gathered after the lunch and agreed, we will be back! Wolfgang the owner was an absolute delight, as were the wait staff. Great place Brisbane! Go there. You won’t be disappointed!!

I have say i’m glad i did , to start with the greeting i received from the young lady wow haven’t had service like that in along time so friendly polite then to top it off the coffee was great followed by breakfast totally recommend this hidden gem for me anyway you won’t be disappointed.

this place has been part of my life for as long as i can remember. it’s so nice to have an authentic taste of austria in australia because most germanic restaurants are so stereotypical. the bread is also fantastic, and the pastries are to die for!

Perfect..what a surprise. K & K's cafe / bakery / restaurant. The service was friendly, and fast. We had the custard and almond croissants with cappuccino. Good size pastries, not too sweet. The coffee and croissants came out together on one tray, such a pleasant change, no waiting 10mins for coffee after the cake is served. Presentation was beautiful, coffee excellent. Beautiful clean, quiet setting with shady outdoor, pet friendly area. Extensive menu, and selection of pastries. We'll be back for more.

Beautiful food and beautiful people. Went here for lunch with my wife and little one. Something different to usual and definitely didn't disappoint. A wide and varied selection on the menu, likely a few items most would not have tried before but be game!. Servings are ample, not over the top, just right really. Very well priced for what you get too. Went to pay and ended up purchasing some baked goodies for later from their sumptuous selection. Really impressed. Staff are absolutely lovely, homely people, and the chef is great. Thank you to all for making it such a nice experience for us. Will be back to try more on the menu!!

We are seriously lucky to have this authentically German style restaurant as a nearby option. I’ve been several times over a couple years and am amazed each time at the quality dishes, large range of options (including an extensive all-day breakfast option) and fair prices and always question why I’m not frequenting there more often. The service has always been excellent, the desserts are amazing and if you like schnitzel you’ll be in heaven. They should be packed to the rafters with customers given there isn’t anything close to this array of unique and delicious food items within half an hour in any direction but it’s modest locale keeps some remembering it’s an option. So sadly it’s usually quite slow there while it should be taking reservations days in advance. Let’s not let this gem disappear as so many others have during these trying times.

If you appreciate Austrian food cooked to a high standard using top quality ingredients, look no further. Extensive menu of Bavarian favourites, eg dumplings, stews, proper schitnzels, brilliant rostis, sausages, etc ... plus top notch breads and desserts. Oh, and that Austrian white wine! Long may they continue to provide us West siders with solid, wholesome food.

The food is always good. Never had a bad meal there. A bit pricey, but worthwhile to spoil yourself occasionally. I love the range of Austrian food. I even ordered some as takeaway, for dinner! Lovely selection of pastries to take home, or freshly baked bread or pies. Good too that they're fully licenced. Had a great brunch with bubbly... Perfect way to start the weekend.

They serve very authentic and delicious Austrian food. Great selection of different meals, what we got was really well done and the desserts where difficult to choose due to such a wide range of good ones but what we had was amazing. Will definitely come back again! A must try for anyone that loves some good meat with delicious side dishes and needs to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Makes you recall the saying "The Best in the West". I haven't called at K&K for over 15 years and was staggered when the waitress treated me just as though I was a "regular" - it felt great to be back, and I'll make sure I keep coming back. The pleasant outlook and yummy good can't be beaten!

Cordon bleu is great. The potato salad was something different but I much prefer it to normal potato salad. It seemed non-dairy. Very zesty with a clear sauce. Salad was great and well balanced. Rosti was more of a fried mashed potato fritter which was disappointing.

Delicious and definitely authentic! My Austrian husband and I came here for a late breakfast and ordered the K&K breakfast and a super tasty almond croissant which was bigger then expected. husband loves the proper Meinl Austrian style coffee which is slightly different to Australian coffee, and love the beautiful presentation and tray it comes with. Super friendly service all around and was able to brush up on my German skills with the waitress! Danke! will be back!

This restaurant magically popped-up on my FB page. I love German & Austrian cuisine but did not realise that there was an Austrian restaurant about 15 minutes drive from my home. What a find! Apparently, the restaurant has been there for over 20 years. Anyhow four of us ventured there for lunch. We shared Krautfleisch, Gulasch, Geselchtes, and Rindsroulade – each was delicious. Austrian beers were delicious too. This was topped-off with desserts & coffee. The setting is somewhat sylvan. The chef-boss and the staff were welcoming and helpful in suggesting dishes. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Food was very nice, with a large an authentic menu, but the service lacked a little. Slow to take orders, slow to clear plates, etc. and we could hear every word spoken between the staff. Even though the opening hours advertised were until 10pm on a Saturday night, when we requested menus to order desert we were told the kitchen would shut at 8.

What a great little place. How good is it to go to a place that has something better than scrambled eggs & hash browns for breakfast. At our last visit both the ladies thought the omlettes were great, whilst myself son had schnitzel & black pudding respectively, followed by struedel & hunter teas. Really sets you up for the day. Coffee was also good. Serve one of the best short blacks you'll come across.

Austrian cafe. They occassionally have some live accordian polka music on weekends. Strudels, breads, cookies, cakes, pies and pastries. They have a kitchen menu serving proper meals. Best European style bakery in centenary.
