Thanks for the reply Nick. I’ll update my review. Sorry for not being clear on the date of my visit. It was a while back when I and my partner visited. I did realize it was a very popular dish, that’s why I was excited to order it but was left feeling disappointed. Regardless, I am still happy to go back to try your food. It was the first time and I just wanted to give my honest feedback. The waffle was average and a bit too soft and doughy to my liking. And the I felt like the dish was overpriced as it didn’t really taste that good. A bit disappointed. The dollop of custard on top didn’t go with the waffle at all and seemed a bit out of place. The coffee was alright. Silky and rich.

I read one of those weekend papers recently that rated this joint to be the best breakfast cafe in Brisbane! So my expectation was high. For me personally, it doesn’t quite tick all the boxes of best cafe criteria. It seats only 6 people inside and the rest of the patrons seat outside. The menu was less impressive- it covered all the basic things, nothing I would salivate to try. We only ordered two meals and it couldn’t come out at the same time. The menu was a laminated piece of A4 paper!! I’m sorry to be picky but table setting is important if you’re one of the best! Overall I think it’s a good local cafe but definitely not the best or near.

For those craving something sweet, though not overly, sickly sweet, you cannot go past the decadent Golden Gaytime Waffle. Another waffle dish we ordered was Little Loco’s take on the classic Eggs Benedict – two poached eggs covered in chipotle hollandaise sitting atop a savoury cheddar and chive infused waffle So, if you’re seeking flavoursome, affordable dishes delivered with a smile, Little Loco will certainly not disappoint.

I would highly recommend the Egg and Waffle Benny – two perfectly poached eggs with a creamy hollandaise sauce on top of a soft, scrumptious savoury waffle (infused with ham and cheddar) with ample amounts of bacon. Very filling and good value for money. Keen to return and try the loaded banana bread! The service was quick and friendly, the décor refreshing, and overall atmosphere was perfect for a brunch catch-up. I only went with a friend but seating options inside are limited so not sure if I would not recommend for a huge group (although there were a few large tables outdoors). We booked because of Covid restrictions, and after notifying them we’d be a little late, they were very understanding. Plenty of street parking close-by.

I absolutely love this place. Every morning i wake & my partner this is what pops in our head when we are hungry for breakfast. The food is amazing, you can't go wrong with anything you order. It does get crowded but worth the wait. They have gluten free dishes also.

The pavlova waffle was actually so delicious. I was sceptical of the pavlova part but it married together so well with the pavlova giving a crispy texture, on top of the sweet waffle, lemon curd and creme anglaise. They gave a healthy serving of mascarpone and I am all for that. I also had a coconut chocolate pie smoothie which was thicc and chocolatey, super filling. The service was kind and efficient. Dog friendly too, however the area is small if your dog is a full grown Doberman lol. Plenty of off street parking in the area as well

A good spot for breakfast. Its cozy and the staff friendly and attentive. The food was well presented and fresh! Coffee wasn't bad although not a fan of grated chocolate on the cappuccino.

Nice little spot in busy New Farm. Little being the operative word in the opening sentence and even in the name is mostly indicative of the amount of seating. Only about 4 2-seaters inside and bit more outside on the side of the building means not only did we wait for a better seat, but so did the people eyeing us off so we could vacate our seats for them, which was pretty off-putting. Coffee was okay, Oreo milkshake was thick and tasty but the wife wanted a bit more flare. Breakfast bao's were tasty and what we were going for, so we're glad they hadn't changed the menu. Zero room for prams, strollers, high chairs, wheel chairs, lawn mowers or Shetland ponies (Remember little is in the name).

I gave these guys a rough review last year due to them not having food to fulfill half of their menu. Today, I had exactly what I wanted and was happy that I gave these guys another go. Actual shaved chocolate on my coffee. This is always a win in my book. The coffee itself however was pretty burnt, which is a big shame after the effort of doing something special. The Pana Cotta however, was smashing. I wonderful selection of flavours in both the Pana Cotta itself and the accompanying granola. The staff are friendly and smiley. All up a pleasant experience. Better coffee and this place would be an absolute winner.

Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day and Little Loco never disappoints. I come here at least twice a month. Their Mushroom Thyme is my absolute favorite and I haven found anything else in Brisbane that compares to it. Their Chai Tea is also pretty tasty! Service is fast and friendly as well. Only comment: Please, please, please bring the loaded Banana Bread back!

Was super keen to try this cafe after seeing your Instagram page! Parking (midweek) was easy enough and we were the only ones there which was also great! We had the bacon and egg baos and oat pancakes to share. The bacon & egg baos were amazing!! I can’t fault them! And the coffee was great. However the pancakes were a little disappointing. We received two, which were probably the size of a pikelet (to give you an idea of the size). Basically they were tiny and we were glad we shared, as the person with pancakes would’ve gone hungry. Maybe 4 of these small pancakes would’ve sufficed and for $18 ($9 each) and I would probably rather more pancakes less decorative muesli and blueberries. All in all would still visit again, but would probably avoid the pancakes as I didn’t feel it was enough / value for money.

On Saturday we had the pleasure of visiting Little Loco Cafe in New Farm. We loved it. Although a small venue, Little Loco doesn't feel crowded, it was more of a closeness, than invasion of personal space, like breakfast with a group of friends. The staff were all lovely, going above and beyond to ensure everyone was enjoying their time, and their food. Speaking of food, their food is not only heavenly to taste, it was sensational to behold. The concept of eating with your eyes, before eating with your mouth is not lost on these guys, you can tell they put effort into presentation. It pays off, the photos do not do it justice. Big thank you to Nick and the team for looking after us, it was a great start to the day. If you are looking for a delicious breakfast and some great conversation, head to Little Loco Cafe and try out any number of their sensational dishes.

Because it was unsafe to serve they ended up perparing a new meal for no extra costs and gave us free coffee. Great service from them although it wasn't their fault.
