Wow. Visited this restaurant with my wife for brunch while we were holidaying in Cairns and we were blown away. Portion size was generous and more importantly everything was so delicious. I had the smoked salmon dish and it was devine. Picked veges made everything taste so fresh and healthy. Even the iced long black coffee was brilliant. If we are ever back in Cairns, we will definitely be coming back. It's just a shame that location wise, it's not in the city centre so it will be difficult to get to without a car.

So creative menus you have to try in town. We had our delightful breakfast with Oh Handsome Bowl something and Avo Matter. Our regular drink for breakfast are Soy Latte and Mocca with no sugar. Great service and good atmosphere for busy corners cafe.

Fantastic little place in a very nice area. The food was good and everything about the atmosphere was nice. Everything about the place was nice and calm and I went to breakfast with some friends and we thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. The only slight issue we had with the place was the lack of variety in the food and drinks. If the menu was changed to provide some more variety this place would be 5 stars for sure

Oh my goodness what a gem of a cafe. Got the Godzilla bowl. Amazing. Pros: - goooooood vibes. Great atmosphere. The whole place just feels nice. - food is made so well. Lovely flavours and textures. So many good flavours in one bowl but not overpowering. - really good soy latte as well. - good veggo and vegan options. Wish there were more! Cons: - I didn't get to sit down to eat because I was running late :'( Will definitely come back.

Been to breakfast here 3x times on a Saturday over about six weeks. It is consistently good. The quality and service are excellent. The coffee is worth popping in for too. The staff are diligent with service and cleaning, but affect a harried look when busy. They are friendly people working hard and quickly. It does get crowded, but so does any place that has consistency in a competitive hospitality market. It can get noisy, but even try-hards have to eat somewhere decent. A safe choice for good breakfast that can be relied upon.

Mama Coco's is a hidden suburban treasure providing excellent coffee, fresh and innovative breakfasts and lunches either indoors or outside. While the seasonal menu has just recently changed, the favourites are still there, but the star of this new menu is the salmon and pea pancake (see pic). The staff are always welcoming and efficient. A great start to the day!

Another must do in Cairns! What a brilliant cafe right on the intersection of the highway. Brilliant coffee and fantastic food with exotic flavours and non-traditional offerings. On holiday from the UK we stopped here for a quick breakfast as we passed on the way to the airport but it turns out we stumbled upon a real gem! The gluten-free muesli was a delicious feast and fantastically presented (as we're all of the other dishes we saw being served), and the coffee was also the best we've tasted in Australia! Wish we had a Mama Cocos back in London!

I was pleasantly surprised. Fresh healthy food can be yummy. I had the Ciabatta chicken with lemon mayo and rocket and cucumber . Perfect combination between the crunchy bread, freshness of the rocket and cucumber and acidity of the lemon mayo. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a healthy yummy option. PS. They make delicious drinks.
