The staff here are amazing, always cheerful and helpful even when the queues are long and everyone turns up at once. The coffee is delicious too. Thanks to the manager and all the staff. You work so hard, and you are appreciated

Friendly staff and coffee was solid, but the cheese and ham Turkish bread toasted I had, had a slither of ham on it. Total rip off

Coffee shops are plentiful on campus and around the CBD, but the vibe and character of this location are amazing. Teagan and the crew go out of their way to make each drink with care and you can always count on the team to smile and brighten your day. If new on campus take a stroll to this café and enjoy the vibe. There is a reason so many staff and students visit this store… pssst it’s the love 😊

The coffee is always good but I can't get my head around how slow it is. I can't come here at the start of the work day any more as it is routine to wait up to 15 minutes for a coffee. Yeah it's busy, but there are busier places that get coffee out faster with fewer staff

Lately the staff have been really friendly, which is the most important thing. Service time is good considering peak times. Just the bean extraction taste burnt sometimes. I generally get an iced latte or a long black so I can really tell. I'm sure the beans are fine, just the extraction or pour. Otherwise, all good!

Staff were super friendly but my iced mocha was all coffee at the top and pure chocolate at the bottom. The balance would have been perfect, if only they had stirred it! As it’s served in a regular opaque coffee cup I couldn’t tell until I got to the end. Maybe suggest people stir it when you give the coffee out??

I do not usually go to merlo that often at uni, but when i do i am not short of fantastic coffee and customer service. I came here around February during orientation week and was treated like a king. The guy who served me, was a tall islander man and was the most nicest server there and the manager was one funny dude. No doubt after I graduate, i will come back for the amazing coffee and especially for the top notch customer service. Keep it up. (will recommend to all my uni frends)

This Café used to be good, now they have priced their large coffees $5.30 It used to be under $5, like $4.70 or so. Why have they increased the price so much? The Merlo Member card seems to be useless as I no longer get any free coffees or anything, pretty lame.

This is easily the best coffee you will get on QUT Garden's Point campus. The prices for coffee are respectable (the same can't be said for the food but that seems to be a consistent trend for any decent café in the city these days). The espresso here is always top quality and is truly a great blend. The milk on the other hand sometimes leave a bit to be desired. I quite often like to order a flat white however this store has been notorious for making me a latte instead. The lattes I get in these circumstances are far from bad, the milk is normally beautifully texturised and the temperature is always perfect but it would be amazing to get what I order more often than not. Of course this is not the only café that does this (it's difficult to find one that doesn't) but it would be a true testimony to it's quality service if it didn't. I would like to add that the customer service here is always amazing and I am always treated with respect and served in a timely manner. Keep up the great work, and I am sure you will continue to thrive.

Love the flip for free from 2-3pm. Especially when I win 😊 I have won three coffees and a chai latte during the 2-3pm rush and it made my day every time. If you want two free coffees download the app. For vegans the Barista blend almond milk is amazing and Bonsoy milk is also available (I find Bonsoy to be the most delicious of all the soy milks). However, I got a chai one time which was made on powder and the powder didn't disintegrate into the coffee so I would recommend asking for the liquid chai.

Was at QUT for a meeting and needed a coffee. Stopped by at Merlo, and it didn't disappoint! The team were lovely and the coffee was great. Probably my favourite Merlo – will be returning!

Coffee was alright but I don't why they served me with lukewarm coffee. I think they are suppose to set milk upto 65 degrees but all I got was milk at 50 I guess. TWICE!
