Food was great and the coffee was surprisingly good as well. I was satisfied with the meal size although someone with a bigger appetite may feel different. I was there around 9am and I received my meal fairly quickly after ordering. I ordered eggs on toast with tomatoes, with a side of bacon. So basically bacon and eggs. I think the deal is that you can do eggs on toast as the minimum, then go vegetarian with a side of mushrooms or go the other way with bacon. I liked that they gave you tubs of butter so you could choose whether to have your toast buttered or not. If I lived closer I would definitely go again.

The wheelhouse Coffee shop was the most pleasant experience. Atmosphere was friendly with really cool decor. Service was so quick and could not fault our breakfast. Coffee was smooth and delicious and we will definitely be back again. Overall a great find.

The meals came out seriously fast! Every coffee is served with a delightful little chocolate freckle! As the drinks were being brought out she even asked if I wanted a glass of ice! The service was wonderful. We found the meals too big for our eyes & were both unable to finish them! Certainly making them a great meal for the cost! I barely got halfway through my steak sandwich when I was done, & they politely came over & offered to put it in a take away box for me! So lovely! This was the first time I had eaten a meal here for myself. I had shared a meal in a group - which got very noisy (but I think that was more the group than the venue), & been there for a few drinks & chat with a friend when they first opened up & were selling their wooden furniture. This place really is so welcoming!

I have been coming here for years so thought I'd finally give a review. Let's start with the coffee. Its fantastic, better then most of the coffee you find in Brisbane CBD. The house blend is such a high quality it doesn't matter which way you have it the results are always delicious. They cycle through various single origin blends that always have interesting flavours that are worth trying. I enjoy buying their 1kg bags of beans to take home as their quality for price is very good and beans fresh. The food here amazing, I have had everything off the old menu and most of the new one. Our favorites are the smashed avacoda, waffles and tropical feels acai bowl. The window full of goodies is always a win as well, often take home some cheesecake for dessert. Finally the customer service here is amazing. Even though it can get really busy everyone is always so friendly and warm. You can tell the owners have made a great environment to work in as the crew are always working together and having a good time doing so. In all my visits I have had nothing less then an excellent experience each time. I am always excited when I hear the words "lets go to wheelhouse for breakfast".

We dined here yesterday and ordered bruschetta, bagel, parfait and coffee. We did enjoy the bruschetta and parfait. The bagel and coffee is alright. The customer experience was excellent, staff were friendly. We just don't preferred the parking is next to the door when it is left open our table is beside it. Because few cars parked in reverse so their exhaust is pointing towards the open door so when driving off you can smell fumes from our table while eating and it is not a pleasant experience. Also inside the cafe the smell of bacon is all over and a little bit smokey maybe the extractor fan from the kitchen is not working properly.

My wife and I visit this place everytime we visit Brisbane and have never been disappointed, A great choice of food which is fresh and tastes great each time. A relaxing atmosphere with a great outback feel with timber tables and paintings on the walls and toilet door really break up the usual Cafe feeling and adds at least for us a little taste of home.

Went here with my sister in September for a little birthday brunch thing. The eggs Benedict are divine, as is the coffee. Genuine cafe waitresses and and staff. An enjoyable place to eat and relax with loved ones. Be sure to sign in with cafes and restaurants when dining in, as necessary. Don’t skip that part especially right now. It may be three months on that I am writing this but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Great coffee and food served with minimal wait times. Takeaway and dining in options are available, but there's only tables and chairs inside from what I saw. That's probably for the best as outside is the carpark that looks over a main road intersection. I definitely recommend this place if you're on a tight schedule and need a quick cup of freshly made coffee.

Stopped in by chance to grab a quick coffee and I'm very glad I did. Very friendly staff were welcoming, the coffee was exceptionally good, and it was made both hot and fast. I had a piece of home made fruit cake as well which was delicious. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other cakes/slices, and of course, for another fantastic coffee!

Rustic vibe. Short simple menu makes it easier to choose. Good selection of drinks. Takeaway coffee came very quickly. Takeaway Brekky roll and Benny bagel came out a short while later in good time. Food is well presented despite takeaway, and very tasty. Buns were not overly dry, food wasn't too greasy. Portions are good for price. Not enough sauce for my liking but I like my sauce heavy so not their fault. Will definitely be going again

I have been going to this Wheelhouse Coffee for many years. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The coffee is great, and you can always find a park!

Wheelhouse is always busy, but that’s a good sign right?! It may take a touch longer to get your meal, cake or coffee but it will be good every time and served with a smile. It’s not really equipped for groups of more than 4 at a time- even outside of the era of COVID19 restrictions. BUT they also offer takeaway so it’s great to swing by, pick up your order and go down to the park to enjoy it

Nice little bespoke coffee house with a rustic feel. Seating available outside. Very relaxed feel about it, space between internal tables to fit prams. Variety of seats and tables including three soft sofas (although bear in mind they are really soft so you will sink). A nice small variation of cakes ranging from peppermint slices to macrons. Coffee is good and consistent. A good place for a quiet chat and a chilled coffee.

Coffee is perfect every time. The same barista is always on the machine which means the quality is consistent. You know what you are getting every time you go in. The food is delicious as well and the prices are competitive. I've eaten here twice in 4 days while visiting the area.

Finally went in after years of eyeing this place. The interior is so cute and extra points for the rustic decor. The menu is simple but succinct, and the prices are standard - but you definitely get what you pay for. The drinks were beautiful, and the food was similarly presented. I loved their selection of sweets in the display cabinet, as well as the acai bowl section of their menu. I’m keen to come back and experiment with other options.

The bee's knees of cafe for me, I love the coffee, the atmosphere is always great, my ideal location to work out of the office. The only sad thing, is it is in the opposite direction to where I go, but sometimes when I need that extra lift for the day, I will travel back 20min to get coffee, it always sets me on the right path.

Parking is bad especially on a busy morning. I had my newborn and 1.5 year old with me, drove around the car park 3 times couldn’t find a park so quickly pulled up next to the ‘crow and arrow’ parking - was not even 2 minutes as I got my coffee and jumped in the car and the shaved head staff member looked at me with disgrace and shook his head. Hope he feels good about himself for a sleep deprived Mum trying to get a coffee. Wish I’d say I wouldn’t go back but the coffee is too damn good.

Took my wife here for her birthday. Her Carrot cake was very dry. We both enjoed the coffee. I had the chicken open melt with mushrooms and cheese. It was very nice. Sat outside watching the traffic along Gympie road can get a bit noisy. Also be careful if it is raining. It is under shelter but if the wind blow the wting way there is no protection.

Another fantastic spot for coffee buffs. Serving an awsome boutique coffee. Staff are friendly and helpful Clean friendly environment, good spot to catch up or hang out has a great easygoing vibe. Seating available includes couches, tables and high chairs for kids both indoor and outdoor spots. They have a great kitchen with lots of healthy options. Food is well prepared and delicious with some very clever options. If you just walked out of the gym 3 doors down or the pool across the road they can hit you with a protien shake or a high protien meal. Good options for kids. This place opened up a couple of years ago back then fairly quiet but words gotten around these days gets very busy especially in the morning. Smashed avo and egg or that huge steak burger are pretty awsome picks. But the coffee is what its all about for me definitely worth the trip.
