Very quiet over lunch, because of the pandemic. Easy to find a quiet place for private chat. Meals were generous and well presented. Courteous and capable staff ensure that everyone is looked after.

The bakery here is fantastic. I get pretty serious about food sometimes, but this place puts anything I could make to shame. The food is just good, not pretentious, not trying to be fancy, just actually good. Last visit, I had the plain brulee. Absolutely amazing texture, and just the right sweetness. The coffee is as good as you'll get from any speciality cafe as well. The best part is that the prices are in keeping with other cafes! If it's nearby or if you're happy to make the trip it'll make your $10 morning tea a lot more enjoyable.

Had lunch here for the first time with my parents and we had the 2 x pepper and chilli calamari and fish and chips. Wow, it was the best we have ever had. The calamari was so light, crisp and tender with a lovely salad and dressing and the fish and chips was delicious...the fish was pure white and fresh as can be. Great friendly service too.

I've been here a few times. It's a decent cafe to eat in if you're in the Equinox business park or nearby. The atmosphere is a little bit corporate/sterile for my liking though. That said the food is good, the service is good, prices are reasonable, the outdoor area is nice. It's a good cafe.

Very good service - lovely people - good coffee - but the worst take away Caesar salad I’ve ever had from the bakehouse - and I’ve had a few Caesar salads ☹️ Oddly enough they drowned it out with way too much rubbery egg in huge square chunks and way too much rubbery soft bacon and way too much dressing that had no Caesar salad flavour. It was so disappointing.

Visited for the first time today for lunch with my wife & daughter . They had the calamari & and I had the fish & chips. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes, they were delcious and well cooked. We arrived late for lunch, due to a late medical appointment, and even though the kitchen was about to close, the staff could not have been more obliging. We shall return!!!!.

Tried the breakfast burger and red velvet pancakes. Service was super fast the food came before coffees. Overall it was ok but the burger had nothing on the side and the pancakes needed more syrup or ice cream. Coffees were pretty good but not amazing. Had high expectations and was a little disappointed.

First time here for breakfast (had lunch here many times) and it was a good range on the menu. Had the Salmon stack. Possibly a little more salmon would have gone down well, but what was on the plate was tasty. Also grabbed an ‘energy juice’ and coffee which both hit the mark. Fast service. Tip: on cold mornings avoid sitting near the windows as they are a bit drafty.

This is a review on what I've ate. Coffee was okay maybe blend is just different to what I've use to. Egg n Bacon roll with chilli jam was awesome defs recommended. I've also had the EQ Breakfast, one of the best Breakfast I've had on the dirty South. Been here a couple of times in last few weeks with big groups. Outstanding food and great service both times. 10/10 We hear their menu is based on fresh seasonal produce and keeps changing which is great. Absolutely fabulous cakes. They taste even better than they look. Maitri has great knowledge of cakes. She is professional, prompt and very responsive to messages. Always exceptional but now they've opened for dinner. The menu was vast and had a wide verity of food options, things ranging from Vegan and Vegetarian options, as well as Gluten friendly if you ask the waitresses. A kids menu is also provided on the back to keep the little ones happy :). The service was quick and was seated by a professional waitress upon entering. The drinks menu had alcoholic as well as non, included smoothies, juices, bottled drinks, wines, beers, and spirits. Ordered an entree of Braised Oxtail which the oxtail was super tender, moist, and fell apart once you put it in your mouth. There was deep fried cheesy gnocchi, which was very mourish with a red wine jus to make the meal connected. I then ordered Salmon Picatta (GF) for main, the salmon fell apart like butter and was plated with a lemon butter with capers. It was accompanied by grilled asparagus and herb roasted potatoes with the skin still on as well. I then ordered dessert which was a Warm Chocolate Brownie (GF), the brownie had a salted caramel sauce with raspberry gel and chocolate chunks, the brownie also came with ice cream. All in all, a first class experience and I will definitely be visiting again.

One of Canberra's best restaurants on the left and one of Canberra's best Cafes/bakery's on the right. They sell excellent sourdough bread and excellent large cakes alongside cafe offerings of quality coffee and quality sandwiches. I'd really like them to more often sell medium and dark rye sourdough breads. I'd really like them to sell an A2 milk option in the coffees. But life isn't perfect :) They do have a multigrain sourdough option. They do have a soy milk option. If you are interested in those. Definately a must-visit if you are trying Canberra's best restaurants and cafes.

Absolutely fantastic, the wait staff were lovely and attentive despite it being quite busy. I managed to get a table in a nice quiet area, at first I was worried the food might take a while to come out but it was impressively quick, it didn’t even feel like 5 minuets since we placed our order. The arancini balls were to die for! Truffle can sometimes be quite overpowering in these types of dishes but in this case it was beautifully delicate. I am very excited to come back and try more of the menu.

Located at the centre of a corporate office complex, EQ cafe offers a pleasant and quality experience to escape the confines of the workplace and have a moment of freedom in a social and friendly environment. The food is great, staff are friendly and welcoming and the coffee will get you through the day. Eq Cafe have private function rooms which offer enough space for the next event you need to hold.

I ordered a cake from EQ not too long ago, it was a beautiful cake and everyone enjoyed it. Some of the staff there are lovely and always greet you with a warm smile, however I'm was met very rudely by one of the staff members there (male) when I expressed an issue with my order one time. Another staff member (I assume the manager) was able to take charge and defuse the situation more kindly then the other server.

They do a really nice cuppa and the food looks fantastic. They definitely drop a star for it being so incredibly hot in there. Admittedly it was a hot day but by Zeus, I think my teaspoon started melting. It looked like they had air con so I'm not sure if it was broken or just overwhelmed but I needed to go and have a cup of tea to get over going to get a cup of tea.

Is one of my favourite cafes in Canberra. Th3 food and the coffee are good. Th3 bakery at the back is delicious, but what makes this place special to me is how Will, John, Mara and the rest of the staff always welcomes me and makes the coffee the way I like it with cinnamon on top! The desserts and cakes are to die for. Give yourself the chance to try it and judge by yourself is a a great place to eat on a casual day.

The relaxed atmosphere is a perfect place to sit enjoy an excellent coffee and choose from their varied and interesting food offering from the menu or if you are in a hurry choose from the ready made selection. The staff are friendly and will often stay for a quick chat. The service is quick, although it can get very busy on the weekends but this just allows you more time to enjoy the experience.
