One of the coffee that have to go in Canberra. Then you will be hooked on it. Always be amazed by their perfect blend of coffee and milk, which will comes with a beautiful latte art. I strongly recommend customers to make some change on their regular favour and let Vincent and his friend to get one intersting single origins or special blend for u. They get the beans from Campos which is excellent, full of flavour and no bitterness. They have a limited food menu. But their brekkie wrap is the already the perfect thing that I can get in a hungry early morning in Dickson. By the way, they had a secret menu is waiting for you to discover it. If you're in the area for whatever reason, go for it.

We paid a visit to show our support after seeing that horrid racist incident - and I must say, we definitely got the better end of the deal! The owner and staff were so lovely; toasties were made to perfection, sweet treats on point and the coffee divine. And their dine in coffee comes served in Huskee cups! Even better! There's so much heart and soul in this little cafe - it especially shows through the original artwork. If you're after a humble, reliable go-to without the pretentiousness or price tag of, say, other Dickson coffee joints - this is your place!

A cozy and aesthetic little nook in Dickson, bringing a cozy & modern place to relax with friends. Folks Gallery seats about 12 indoors & is filled with curious pieces of art. On the afternoon I stopped by, there seemed to be some artists tucked into the back corner debating how to paint a lonely tree on a desert road. I was unsure if I was seeing an art class or a gathering of local artists. The neon sign proclaiming DIY art appears to ring very true in any case. The menu is delightfully simple and exceptionally well done. There’s something very brave in only having very few menu items - a classic ham & cheese toasted, a roast pork roll, a brekkie wrap, and a peri chicken and avo toastie. I opted for a roast pork roll. Something about the soft delicate bread, rich gravy, and tender pork reminded me of home. Perhaps there was more than a dash of Chinese flavours in the spice mix. This brings me to their drinks, of which the menu features much more of. After having their iced chai, I can certain see why they’ve decided to focus on their drinks menu. This might be one of the best iced Chai’s I’ve had the fortune of tasting in Canberra. Certainly the “Iced Creamy Chai” does not disappoint with lovely creaminess (despite having it with soy!), bold balance of spices, and just the right kick of sweetness. Admittedly as an Australian, I’ve been spoiled and plentiful array of great cafe drinks. Even then, there’s something special about Folks Gallery that has me anticipating my next visit even as I sit here writing this over my sadly-disappearing chai. Prices/recs: Roast Pork Roll - $9.80 Iced Creamy Chai - about $6.50 from memory

Coffee is amazing! First time to try Ethiopia, and never come back to normal. You can experience the gap among other local coffee shop. Good place to try speciality coffee. Chicken & Avo is also different from other shops. Chicken is soft and fresh, avo is rich, fresh and creamy. If you have time, must try Geisha and Ethiopia!

Fantastic place, really enjoyed our time here. The Hokkaido coffee had a beautiful nutty aroma and tea was high quality. We also loved the tuna and chicken toasties - some of the best toasties I’ve ever had. The custard tart could be improved by having crispier pastry and softer inside. Overall excellent food, thank you.

I can't recommend this place enough.They have small group painting lessons, the atmosphere in the place is very relaxing that sets you up in the right nood for painting. They're very friendly and guide you through the entire process. You can also get drinks on the side they're coffee and matcha tea are amazing. They provide you everything and make the painting experience very enjoyable. Thank you

Yummy coffees and cold drinks (especially the cookies and cream shake). The chicken avo toastie was also the best I’ve had. Must be that delicious sprinkle of secret spices/salt on the top. Made it different and more outstanding than the basic chicken/avo toastie you get in most cafes!

Amazing coffee, great staff. I lived above the building for a long time so this was really my go-to... beyond great service, top notch coffee and generally very cute spot, the staff were also kind to accept packages for me, hold spare keys for guests etc. Maybe the nicest coffee spot in Canberra. Vincent is very friendly and caring! He remembers his customers regular drinks and pours his heart when making them. Great coffee by great barista. The cafe is vintage with paintings on the wall. I once seen one of the customer walks in and use the eftpos machine by himself to pay the money and pick up his coffee. So much trust with the owner and the customer. Well done Vincent!

Great coffee with a nice atmosphere and friendly service. I would however suggest toasting the bread for the pork belly roll to make it nice and crispy, as well as maybe adding some extra herbs/spices/sauces for flavour.

Always have a very good coffee at this cafe. They serve Campos and It is also not an expensive as nearby options. I especially love it because they stay open later serving coffee, far later than other options in Dickson.

This is a small coffee shop but it is run by a man who certainly knows his coffee (which is fabulous) & takes pride in providing quality service. Folks Gallery is a great unfussy place for excellent coffee (Campos), but I highly recommend their Hojicha latte or honeyed chai latte too. They also have an selection from Sonora bakery. The staff are quick and it's a beautiful little hole in the wall type cafe.
