Really nice Cafe to stop for a quick brunch bite. The service is prompt and friendly, lots of regulars coming in and being greeted which is nice to see. The value of the specials is really good, you'll get something very nice for a decent price. Food was tasty and well worth the value as well as arriving quickly.

For the price, I was really satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food and coffee. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel, and it came out hot, crispy and delicious. The hazelnut latte was so good that after my meal, I ordered 2 more coffees for takeaway. Staff were friendly, and I would definitely come back again

Update: 2 months later -. Ordered the Breakfast burger again. And again, it was super delicious!! Had a bit of wife’s Grilled Haloumi Platter, that was outstanding as well. Everything was just fresh! The lady at the front was very friendly and has a great sense of humor! Definitely going again! ———— Original Review: Food was delicious!! Giving three stars because of odd customer service. Lady at front a little hesitant in giving me extra cutlery. I repeated politely that we’ll be sharing the food and could I get an extra plate at least. She gave me a look and then gave me the plate. Sorry guys for asking for an extra plate for my 3-year old to share my chips with me and for her to feel involved at the table.

One of the best cafes in Canberra. Coffee is excellent and the food is delicious (I particularly love the 'little praga'). All for a fair price. Owned and run by a Canberra family who will always make you feel welcome.

We come here for the all day breakfast, especially the egg benedict. You can sit inside it out. The atmosphere is friendly.

So glad we walked in to checkout this cafe, it looks and smells delicious with a calm atmosphere probably from the inexpensive options which are very filling and appetising. The staff are professional and courteous. We dined here 4 times in 2 days it was so good. Looking forward to visiting again.

Quiet suburban cafe offering wide range of breakfast specials. Outdoor seating is pleasant on a spring morning, although the occasional gust of wind is chilly. My favourite is the brekky wrap with its generous servings. Just saw the staff hand feeding the local friendly magpie. Very cute. Highly recommended for the morning nourishment.

When we are at Dickson, we love to go Praga Cafe to dine, great food and coffee. It has a great atmosphere. Family owned business, very friendly and great service. We had lunch now the food is great, not only you can get lunch but also a breakfast too. Come in side and get a cup of coffee or tea.

Been to this place 100+ times over the years. It’s owned and managed by Rick Bylinski and his family. On a value for money basis there’s nothing like it anywhere. Rick does his research for sure and tests all his recipes—there’s nothing bad on the menu. Aside from the food, the place is always clean. Everything comes out quickly—so you never have to wait for ages like at some other cafes. I strongly recommend Praga. Check out the halloumi roll!

Our favourite place to go with our baby, for our morning coffee or a weekend brunch. The coffee and food are delicious, the owners just so lovely and everything is timely and thoughtfully prepared. Our favourite thing about the Dickson neighbourhood!

This cafe made me feel like I was in Europe. Thank you. I love the Polish flag and Polish Television showing on the wall. The service is polite and efficient - it is a busy and popular place. The food is generous and the coffee maker is very good at his job. If you want a place that feels homely give this one a try. Thank you.

I was contemplating whether or not to write a review as I have seen that the cafe seem to retaliate very easily and can't handle negative feedback, but I feel this is necessary. I ordered French Toast which on the menu included fruit, ice-cream, maple syrup and chocolate shavings. I've never been a fan of fruit and asked if I could order it without fruit. The lady at the counter looked at me in horror and exclaimed that that would just be "bread on bread" and had to ask the chef's if it was even possible to do. I didn't see the problem as there were 3 other toppings it'd still have. I then was proceeded to be called "boring" and was repeatedly questioned. I honestly thought I was doing them a favour as I would've just wasted the fruit if it was on my plate. I just wanted to commend the chef/s though as the food was amazing and prepared quickly. However while I was enjoying my meal I overheard the lady complainging to another customer about someone ordering "bread on bread" and the plainness of French toast without fruit. From the beginning I felt she was very rude to me but hearing this made me angry that something so small was made into a big deal. I was also so surprised she'd share it with a customer. If you're looking for speedy service and good food I recommend this place, however if you'd like friendly, unjudgmenttal customer service it's best to go next door.

Awesome Eggs Benedict on Smoked Salmon on English Muffin . Best I've had in Canberra . Smoked salmon was higher quality than elsewhere too . Coffee was great but sitting outside in the sun totally unrushed on one of their many tables was so enjoyable too. I will return for this again soon .

Food was great, but staff are a little grumpy first thing in the morning. Especially the lady at the front counter. A few Cafés in the area all offering similar deals so service is everything.
