Beautiful food, great coffee and wonderful views. All within Australia's Parliament House. Take a look around and soak up the history. Read the Constirution of Australia and see Austalia's copy of the Magna Carta that helped shape our political system and the evolution of our Human Rights and freedoms. Sense the atmosphere of purpose and decision within this magnificent architectural monument to democracy; past, present and future.

Queen's Terrace Cafe is lovely and I went there today for the first time (in a very long time). The food was great prices and I got a Long Black Coffee and the Open Bagel. I was very happy and it was fresh and well put together. I saw other people too buy incredible items that I want to try next time. Great spot and highly recommended for when one visits Parliament house!

A great selection of food, with both healthy fruit options and cake. There were even some macarons available too, and the coffee was decent. Friendly staff, and great for a quick break when touring Parliament House.

I stopped by to have a hot chocolate for morning tea whilst visiting Parliament House. I loved that it came with marshmallows. I didn't have to ask or get a no answer it just same. I didn't have any of the cakes but they looked good. The staff were friendly.

We had the high tea and couldn't be happier. We were served by Ali and his team who were extremely attentive. They offered complementary drinks and ensures we had a private and romantic experience. We will be back soon!

I organised high tea on a Sunday for a birthday celebration. The online booking times were easy to choose from but paying in advance for a small group meant I had to confirm definite numbers. I also confirmed names when I booked, and this allowed attendees to be checked off the list at the front entrance and then sign-in through the Check in CBR app. The coffee and small desserts were delicious and worth all the effort. It is also a quiet and relaxed space.

Went to Queens terrace cafe twice last weekend. The first was just for a coffee and cake and a look at the view. Coffee was good for us both, hot, rich and the right sized cups. Had a muffin which was fresh. So the following day, we went back specifically for breakfast. I had the egg and bacon roll and it had to be one of the best I have tasted for a few years. Lots of properly cooked egg and the bacon was plentiful. My friend had another egg dish and they were very satisfied. So I tried a different muffin which I suspect had only been out of the oven for a short time. More coffees and then a wander around Parliament House. Prices were very competitive and we did not feel like we were being screwed in some dubious tourist hole. Staff were friendly and smiled and chatted a little as there were few other customers at the time. They were well presented, looked like they cared and were quite attractive. A really nice experience.

Most tourist attractions that have in-house cafes are usually ridiculously expensive with very average snacks and coffees. Not Queen's Terrace cafe. We were surprised by how cheap the food was and how delicious and fresh it was too. Enjoyed the cakes here and the coffee was really good. I wish we had more cafes like this one.

Big indoor and big outdoor space at the café. Very spacious, good for prams. Parents room just next to the café, making it very convenient for parents with little ones. Found the lunch menu a bit difficult to read. Fancy names for each item but not enough info of what the plate really consist of. Rapid service. Good place to hang out.

Great place to grab a bite to eat. We got lunch specials, which we very tasty. We had fish and chips, cream of mushroom soup and an almond pie and capuchino. They also have a great outside seatings. It was a great break after the tour of Parliament House with a nice view :) Recommend! Cheers :)

Just had the most delicious coffee here. I was quite surprised. I asked for a strong latte and for exactly that. They take eftpos and offer discounts for bringing your own mug. The outdoor seating area is one of the best in Canberra.

Really good food and very well priced. I got a soup of the day (beef minestrone), potato wedges (big bowl!), a spinach roll, a beef pie and a nice salad to share with my parents for $40. Will highly recommend to my friends visiting Canberra.

Just stopped in to get a quick bite to eat and continue on sightseeing. We queued up and ordered food that was already ready to go. The lady on the till was efficient and polite. We also ordered an iced latte and that took a whopping 20 minutes to get to our table in a mug instead of a glass. We ate and drank out latte on the beautiful outside terrace seating. It didn't seem overly busy (I think they just finished a rush) but I do suggest having more than one or two baristas working.

Went here for the Mother's Day High Tea. The food was delicious and diverse, the staff were friendly and attentive. The head waiter (I presume) Ali was energetic and friendly and ensured everyone was having a great time. I had some pretty extreme dietary requirements (deadly allergic to dairy, eggs and tree nuts) so I organised with them before-hand. To ensure they didn't accidentally contaminate my food, it was made in a totally different room by staff wearing gloves, which I've never had any restaurant do before and I'm 21yo. As an indication of how good it was, my food included a banana bread, chocolate brownie, pulled beef slider with tomato chutney, chocolate mousse with fresh berries, Hasselback potato, sushi rice with raw tuna, mini apple blueberry pie, sweetened pumpkin puree with caramelised creme-brulee-style top, fresh fruit with peach jelly. It was incredible. If I could give this 6/5 stars, I would. I'll definitely be back ASAP.
