What started out as a delivery service to locals during COVID lockdown, has turned into a drop in cafe that offers hot and cold coffees, teas, milkshakes and hot chocolates. Sweet Vietnamese coffee made with condensed milk is also available. There's a variety of baked goods including blueberry muffins and Pandan bread. Service is friendly and quick. There is a limited number of outdoor and shaded seating with small tables. All food and drinks are served in environmentally friendly cups and containers; limited use of plastic wraps. There should be a recycle bin to dispose of the used cups and containers. There is an clear shield between server and customers for COVID safety. Worth a visit.

Absolutely love this place! Such a cute outdoor set up with a variety of seating options. Super great for bringing along your dog. SV & the rest of the staff are SO NICE and it's great to see their smiley faces every time i go. I pretty much always order an iced chocolate, and i have to say it is the best out hehe. Sometimes in Canberra you find littles gems , SV is one of those gems , the coffee is unbeatable, the service is second to none . If you want a place to take the kids that also leaves mum and dad happy then you definitely need to give this place a try . It's got a fair bit of parking around and service is always very speedy :)

Loved the outdoor seating with child and adult sized chairs. Canopies making shady spots for those that did not want to get some ray's. Friendly welcoming owner and barista😆 A great community feel as people came and went. Water spray making the area cool and relaxing. Lovely glass trophy announcing 3rd place barrista winner. Muffins freshly baked, devine with a lovely glaze and rose petals spattering on top🌹 beautifully presented. Such a great friendly and welcoming business. Coffee refreshing🍵☕ will be back😊

Sv's is quickly becoming an institution in Lawson and surrounding suburbs. The coffee is consistently excellent as are the other drinks and baked goods on offer. The caramel slice is probably the best available in Canberra (thanks Zanine!). Setting Sv's apart from other cafes is the community spirit embodied and encouraged by both management and customers. Client focus is an imperative for this local cafe with everybody who visits reaping the rewards of this very special establishment. Highly recommended.

Probably the first home based bakery and cafe in Canberra, the new suburb of Lawson has no other services or shops. Operating from a 'van' adjacent to the door of a house in the main drag of Lawson, it has become an extremely popular community hub. Open very early in the morning to provide coffee to take away on the way to work, service continues throughout the day catering for a long line of people walking dogs or exercising. SV has serious skills as a barista and takes pride in his work. Canberra is a discerning and demanding cafe culture and this suburban outlet delivers. The bakery items are beautifully crafted and seem to change daily. SV himself is extremely personable and friendly, and has become a a driver for local engagement of local small business enterprises to network and promote their activities. Great Coffee, Great Service and a community focus. What more could you want?
