Eva's was good. Overall it's a Cafe with an easy menu,food is tasty, staff is good.Coffee is decent. Service was good and the atmosphere, well you can't fault it since you are there in the Botanical Garden😁 The servers are pleasant and patient with indecisive customers👀🤭 but perhaps a conversation with the customer may assist both parties in getting the customer over the line; talk about the special of the day or what the customer is leaning towards, make a recommendation but I am nitpicking here...

Lots of places to sit in the shade outside to enjoy the gardens surrounding, not too noisy so great to bring the family or a group. Limited but delicious lunch/brunch and brekky options, making it easy to order- highly recommend for a lazy weekend visit for locals and a nice place to relax with good coffee for tourists 👌

Gorgeous location, can’t go past that! First time I’ve been back since it opened and they’ve come a long way. There are two gorgeous decks to sit on outside and some seating in the garden area. Inside is lovely and cool, outside there are fans and a good breeze. The food is simple but lovely and quite healthy, it on the smaller side. I paid around $19 from memory for a kimchi omelette. The service is friendly and overall there is a nice casual vibe.

I just love the back deck for breakfast. Under the trees and birds birding. It fills the heart. They are open early, food is great, coffee good and lots of locals to chat with. It's my Sunday morning spot.

Bus 4 o 10 - Great location and setting reasonable price (coffee $5 - egg Benedict $19). Great open verandah - Kids and pet friendly, free botanic garden Wi-Fi. Bus stops at botanic garden 5 minutes enjoyable stroll through garden. Coffee delicious mild slightly acidic, eggs Benedict was disappointingly presented, just the Benedict sauce, but can't complain for the price and... I didn't come to eat the presentation, just a little difference would make this dish more palettable. Close to Mindil Beach Resort.. excellent for a date.

Eva's cafe is a relaxing dog friendly cafe surrounded by the Darwin botanical gardens. Sit and enjoy your meal surrounded by nature. There are 2 outdoor eating areas and an inside area. The menu covers a wide variety food and drinks. The coffee is excellent! This is a great spot year round.

Great babycinnos! Very kid friendly. They have a little slide, cars and small toys for the kids. Lovely atmosphere. We had a toasty and bagel with a tonne of smoked salmon. Would be nice to have the fans on out front; it would of made it more bearable in the wet. Definitely will be going back.

This is just a perfect place. Location, venue, atmosphere, stuff... Food is really good, tasty, not pricy and perfect size. The only downside I would say, and the reason I don't give the fifty star is due to the fact the bread is a bit poor in flavour and texture. Either way, 100% recommended place for brunch.

Oh my gosh there smoothies are amazing. Only thing that kinda got under my skin was we walked into a reserved section and couldnt tell it was reserved till one of the staff put the sign out. Maybe it was wrong place wrong time. Anyways check them out

A hidden gem. If you visit the Botanical Gardens in Darwin, do yourself a favour and visit Eva's Cafe. It has a great selection of reasonably priced food, and a great balcony area to look out over the lush lawns and gardens.

Best natural environment to eat brunch! It is such a nice ambiance conveniently located in Darwin Botanical Garden. I believe that they have updated their fans inside and all surroundings of the cafe. It makes such a great differences. The food, the coffee and the service is also outstanding. Great food and beautiful spot!! However service did lack. When I ordered food assistant was very distracted on other things and when order did come out an extra coffee was ordered by mistake . When staff brought it out and they were informed of mix up they did not offer any resolution and didn't seem to care- didn't offer refund. Wasn't impressed tbh.

The 2nd time we came, and the experience was exactly like the 1st time. If they didn't offer free coffees i would have given them 1 star for this visit. We waited 1.25 hrs for 2 eggs and a toastie. And four other tables that came after us got their food ahead of ours. The ambience is better after the renovation. Food was fresh enough. Good coffee. Staff could be more organized and could be bit friendlier.

Have had the high tea here twice and that was quite good. However, came for brunch and average service and eggs Benedict had leathery bacon and hard centered poached eggs. Probably worst eggs Benedict I’ve ever eaten. Their sweets and drinks are good. Overall average.

Only 4 stars because the service was incredibly slow. We were going to go to Burnett House, but it had closed by the time we'd finished. Don't come here if you need to he somewhere afterwards

I love this little cafe! Excellent coffee they have the right blend & know how to use it :-) Interesting place the building has a history. It was a church and sheltered people in tough times. The building has seen a few cyclones & standing strong. I like the deck, outdoor area the shady trees are beautiful. They do you a kids play area on the other side of the building offering shade & toys for the kids. Importantly the food it good. If you are ready to get out of the sun and enjoy great coffee & food head to Eva's Cafe.

It’s a pretty good cafe and a great location to stop, especially for those with kids or walking a dog. It has a large front play area with second hand toys and a spare bowl available for my dog to drink. Interior has a nice old tea house look and the large exterior patio is done up more nicely than the front kids area. Falls short of 5 stars because honestly it doesn’t have top tier food and service, especially if your from a bigger city. I’ve never seen another customer that excited with their food, the coffee is good not great, and the staff sometimes look out of their depth when there aren’t really many customers. Still I go there nearly every weekend so I like it really.

Nice cafe in an historic building at the entrance to the botanical garden. Had a relaxed breakfast at approx 9AM on a Saturday. Enough variation for us, and quick service. Nice outdoor seating with canopy and fans made this a great way to start a tourist day. The gardens behind it is also worth a good look.

This historic former Wesleyan Methodist church came from Adelaide and has been converted into a cute cafe with cooling fans in and out. They have a good selection of hot and cold drinks as well as cakes and snacks. The coffee was very good at an average price. There are nice sitting areas outside which are dog friendly and there is free WiFi in the gardens which worked well at the café.

I came here several times for coffee and food. If Joo makes your coffee you will get the best coffee between Melbourne and Darwin - hands down. It even has beautiful latte art and she has always a smile for you. I would have loved to give this cafe 5 stars as it is beautiful, its surroundings very peaceful and the food is good. It even has some toys for the kids which they really enjoyed. I took a star off as the rest of the ladies who work there all seem a bit grumpy and not very welcoming at all. So if you yearn for a really good coffee, and can ignore the grumpy staff, go there and ask Joo to make your coffee.

This place gets super busy on weekends and they struggle to deal with the numbers in a timely fashion. If you're after a lazy lunch or breakfast and time is not an issue, this place is good!

It's nice and the menu items are also nice I've been and asked for the specials for juices and told the juicing machine its working. The menu feels very limited and without much option.

One of the few dog friendly cafes in town, I love seeing and petting people's pooches while I'm there. Ramp access to the deck is disability friendly. Menu is bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it - they have excellent quality, ethically sourced ingredients, the best frappes in town. I paid $10 for a toasted sandwich and was still hungry, so if you want a more filling meal expect to spend about $20. My friend was very impressed that they served a freshly sliced half avocado on the side of his breakfast, instead of smooshed all over his toast like most cafes. Keep your eye out for the bush turkeys (technical name: orange footed scrub fowl) which often wander across the deck. They can't fly very high and won't try and eat your food, they're just cute to watch. Going for a wander through the Botanical gardens afterwards is a must!
