This review is long overdue. I’ve been coming to Laneway for over 4 years now. Never had a bad experience. Good Coffee, good food and great service. Consistency at its best. Keep up the good work team 🤙🏻

Food is excellent with many choices. Vegan options are available and facilitates most dietary preferences. Prices average, lovely members of staff that are extremely friendly. Perhaps too much a victim of its own success as there are a lot of customers coming and the food can take quite a while to arrive. Worth the wait but food portions may not be enough for the really famished, depending on what you order.

Overall vibes of the place was really good. Prices were a little towards the higher end than I would have liked. Food was good, I tried: - Colombian coffee and it was awesome. A definite must try. - beef burger, which was served with salad (and not fries). It was good as well ( not the best, but much better than other outlets in Darwin). - chicken toastie, it was good as well. Some salad or fries along with it would have been better. - Avocado toastie, it was good, no complaints. - Muskmelon juice, looks good, taste good, definitely must try.

lovely atmosphere. super welcoming and accommodating staff. quite a busy spot during brunch but the turn around was pretty quick. as a whole, the food was yummy and the drinks were refreshing. the only slight down side would be that the bacon was more on the burnt side and the bread could be a lot thicker and buttered as a thin slice quickly turns soggy under all the hot food.

Nice little hide away Cafe. If your looking for something totally different, then this quaint Cafe is yr best bet. Very busy and very loud, but it's cheerful atmosphere where kids are allowed. Food is good,organic ..chai latte was fantastic . Staff and customer service is great. Good advice is to get there early.

Excellent food and coffee. The meal sizes were large and well priced. The mushrooms they serve had two types of mushrooms and were perfectly cooked, it seriously made my bacon and eggs that much better. The buckwheat hotcakes were also really good, thats what I will be ordering next time.

This busy cafe is the standard urban Australian breakfast cafe. There is a nice variety of generously sized food options. If you’re vegetarian or vegan they cater well for you. I had an iced coffee which was really tasty. It’s a little expensive but I don’t think it’s vastly out of keeping with what you’d expect. Meals were yummy.

It's bloody cool that there is such an awesome place to go and have brekkie in Darwin! What a cool spot absolutely buzzing with people! Contemporary, Australian brilliant breakfast menu with a side offering of kick arse brownies, pastries and cookies! If this coffee doesn't make you smile in the morning, I don't know else would give you a buzz!?

Good variety of Campos coffees. Original creative menu. We had chicken burger which had tender fillets although buns were a tad dry. I like the creativities of food definitely will come back!

A gorgeous extremely busy little cafe with exceptional food and coffee in Darwin not too far from the airport or city. Very noisy so not great for business meetings, but has air conditioning and great atmosphere and nice outdoor seating too. Definitely recommend trying the Indo Bowl and eggs benny :)

Was a little bit pricey but that was was probably the only complaint I had. Coffee was great iced coffees also-ran were spot on on. The Indo poke bowl wash fantastic but the chicken burger was the winner for my money. Get bacon on it and sail on into flavour country.

A gem in NT. We discovered this venue after quite some Googling and we were not disappointed! I had my regular strong flat white supplemented with the hotcake. The panna cotta on the hotcake was very very nice. The flavours were delightful, not too sweet, just perfect. This breakfast was the perfect way to end our holiday in Darwin before heading on to our next stop.

Yummy breakfast spot! I had the organic buckwheat with fresh berries, seeds, vanilla bean panna cotta, pistachios and cinnamon syrup! The hot cake is dry, yet fluffy and the combination of the panna cotta and the syrup is beautiful. To drink ofcourse one of their coffees: a skim cappuccino with their powerful single origin coffee. Service: quick and friendly! Order taken within 5 minutes and had food within 30 minutes whilst it was busy! Will return once back in Darwin!

Wow what a cool cafe. They were packed when we arrived and only had to wait 2 minutes for a table. The staff were incredibly friendly even though they were so busy. The coffee was amazing!!! Our meals were soooo yummy, the only slight fault was the halloumi I added to the eggs Benny was cold, but the fact the eggs were runny made up for it!!! The decor was so groovy and would definitely recommend these guys and will hopefully be going back before we leave. Thanks for the great service guys :)

Wonderful cafe! Their Sunday juice of the day was so amazing! All the ratios of the ingredients were perfect! And their muffin was heavenly! There was a nice ambience to the place and there were families, couples and friends all together in the one place. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor service. They provide service with a smile and service was prompt. An added bonus is that they use cornstarch straws, hence supporting an end to plastic straws! Will definitely be paying this little gem of a place a visit again.

A lovely hipster coffee spot in the middle of Parap Market! The coffee, juice & bacon was delicious. We were first timers so went straight to the counter to order, instead of waiting for them to serve us at our table. We received a slightly unpleasant attitude from the lady at the counter, who seemed unhappy that we didn’t know the rules. That being said, the waitresses were lovely, brought our food to us very quickly and took care of us with a smile. Not bad of a place to hang out, but remember that you only order at the counter if you want to take away coffee!

I don't get the fuss. The coffee is nice, but no nicer than anywhere else. The food is nice, but no nicer than anywhere else. Outdoor seating is hot, no fans are provided and just plain unpleasant. Indoor is cool and fairly comfortable, but the desire to trendy with polished concrete floors means that it's near impossible to have a conversation at lunch. Try it. It's definitely worth a go. I hate criticising any place, but the noise, the outdoor seating problems... I dunno... it's just not what it's cracked up to be.

Every single dish was great, from the yogourt, to the toasts, the shakes, the hot chocolate, etc. Service was very quick and friendly. Good, but not like the hype. Maybe I'm too much if a coffee snob. The coffee I got was bitter from being run through too long. And I was probably a bit put out before I got in the door because it's not in a laneway... It's more like a road. So it's name really should be 'on the corner of a roadway specialty coffee'. The food looked really good but we didn't eat. But they sell aeropress - so they get a point just for that.

Where to start? The coffee was amazing. The muffins were fresh and jammed packed with berries, which is alway awesome. Downside was it cost me over 16$ for 2 coffees and a muffin. Babychino cast about $2:20 or a little more. Rather expensive. Anyway, it seems that it's the place to be. Lots of hip and friendly staff. This is definitely the place to hang for all the cool kids. There were also some kids books to keep the little rug rats busy.

The chicken burger was very bland and disappointing. The chicken meat itself must've not been marinated for very long because with every bite the meat tasted more like the unseasoned chicken breasts people who're trying to lose weight eat. And given the small array of choices of food on the menu, there's not a lot going on for me to go back to.
