Great coffee, friendly service but poor dining experience. Our food took a while to arrive and wasn't busy. Spiced eggs got items missing from the menu descriptions. Fried chicken waffle arrived cold and soggy with loaded of mayonnaise, garnished with baby spinach? Couldn't finish it because too greasy and feeling sick. Flavour were not balanced and dishes were over priced. BTW surcharge for EFTPOS. Only recommend coffee and bread.

Ray was one of the only cafes open before 7am, and how lucky I was I stopped in. With only 3 hours sleep and after 14 days of quarantine I wanted a decent coffee. Ordered a small double shot latte and was not disappointed, no point trying anywhere else because this is the one! If you like a strong bitter coffee look no further!

Rays turns into Darlings Pasta and Vino Club during the evenings, this place has top notch Italian food, housemade pasta, bread and desserts. Would definitely recommend the blue swimmer crab if you go! 10/10

The coffee at this place is definitely 5 stars. I had a breakfast and found it a bit expensive for avocados and things on toast, with an extra charge for eggs. It was tasty and all but this process of charging for eggs isn't the best. Great vibes in the place though.

Located in the Darwin CBD with plenty of parking and seating (inside and out). The menu has something for everyone and the coffee is excellent! Dogs are welcome in the outdoor area.

Ray's has the perfect café spot in the CBD. Their courtyard has enough seating for loads of people and quiet enough if a solo cup of coffee and a good book is more your thing. I had the granola which was pretty good and the coffee was good too. Just wish they were open for longer hours at least on the weekends.

We ordered a couple of coffees, sourdough toast and a granola bowl for breakfast on an early Sunday morning. The food and coffees came out promptly. We were the only ones in there at the time though. The presentation and quality of food was fantastic. By the time we left at 8am it was getting quite busy, the staff were all attentive and smiling. A great experience. Highly recommend.

This is tucked away on a corner (well was behind construction fencing when we were there) - what a find. Food is amazing. We ended up there for breakfast every morning, and lunch twice. Healthy eating is easy here - but don't go past the pastries either - they were great. Recommend this place

This cafe was not bad! Poached eggs were over done. Pies were tasty! Most disappointing part was not having a price listed on the many menus due to the establishment’s misprinting and then having a surprise with the bill. The total is verbally requested and not itemised unless asked. Probably expected better customer service for a minor issue that could’ve been easily resolved. Because of the lack of service, I won’t need to return.

Very busy breakfast due to being Anzac Day. Grateful that they could be flexible with breakfast choices but the poached egg was overcooked and the potatoes were cold and tasteless. Salt was lacking, horrible if not cooked with salt

Partner enjoyed his croque monsieur benedict which with two poached eggs was also great value, and my eggs were beautifully cooked with lovely benny sauce. I was amused by the mere speck of speck that cost me five bucks, my chipped plate and random bit of rosemary on my toast. Not much value here if you don't want carbs with your brekkie. The hipsters can have it.

Best coffee in town! When construction is over in their courtyard, this will be the most premium cafe spot in the whole of Darwin. An extensive menu sees options for all, and the quality and quantity is second to none. It's light filled space, with ample seating will have all the office workers, locals and tourists alike rushing in.

A favourite spot for breakfast. A fine selection of pastries and dedicated baristas make for great coffee dates too. Choices available before all tastes. Ray's also stocks one of the better barista almond milk, Almo, for a delicious alternative to a dairy coffee experience.

Love it at Ray's! Consistency in taste, service and atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor dining. I have tried both the Big breakfast and the Truffle scramble and they are both excellent dishes. The coffee is good in temperature and taste. Well done Ray's 👏
