Excellent venue and excellent staff and services since my 1st visits when I lived here in 2007-2014. Still the best coffee in Darwin and a great menu to fill the void in your guts no matter what time it is , breakfast, lunch or dinner. Long term staff who remember you once you turn up a few times and always great service. In a time of constant change I’m glad I could return back to Darwin to live in 2021 and salvatores for some regular good old fashioned service, great food and great coffee with a fantastic people watching venue.

I really really like this place and i would not hesitate to recommend for travellers that just want something basic and quiet after a long trip. It’s right on the corner before the mall so close to most hotel and apartments in the central area of the town. It’s clean and well presented with friendly staff. Food was delicious and fresh. I was there round 7:30am and it had about 6 or 7 people there which meant it was about half full. Will be back again for sure

Breaky was beautiful. The flavor of the gluten free baked pepperoni eggs was delicious. Unfortunately baked egg was over baked, however didn't hinder the flavor whatsoever. Hubby enjoyed his eggs Benedict. Friendly chatty owner with lots of Darwin recommendations.

Fuel up and explore! Salvatores Cafe is in downtime Darwin. Easy to get to. Nice an cool inside. Prices are decent for a cafe in such a prime location.

Came here twice on our trip, once for breakfast and again for dinner. Huge selection on the menu all for reasonable prices and big servings however quality was average. Seating inside is pretty tight especially when it’s full.

Sign outside read Exceptional coffee, It was really good. As I was biting into my delightfull panini sandwich the chef lent over the counter and apologised that the bread might be a little warm, because it had just come out of the oven. It's not just the coffee that's exceptional about this place.

Wow wow wow!!!!! Seriously the BEST salt and pepper squid I have ever had!!! Bar none!!! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was brilliant!! My boyfriend and I recently went on a lunch date here on a Sunday, the whole Smith St Mall was a ghost town so we walked until we found a cafe and found this one. Well I am soooo glad we ended up here!! We ordered a chai latte, an iced mocha, bruchetta and the ribs & chicken wings combo plate that comes with hot chips too. We also got 2 caramal/banana/walnut tarts to take home. ALL of it was DELICIOUS. The cafe inside was peaceful, the drinks and food were so well made, and the staff were very friendly. The chef himself came out to tell us about his Canadian home recipe for the ribs, buffalo chicken wings and the sauce. We had a great conversation, he was a very friendly chef! The whole experience just absolutely made our day, our lunch date, and our weekend! Thank you Salavatores Cafe we WILL be back to try more of your menu, which by the way had an amazing array of choices. Can't wait to try more.

Being lazy, I'm not one to write reviews but when I make the effort to write a review for this place, you know it is DEFINITELY worth the visit. Their wings are to DIE for and the staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming. If you have a day in Darwin, rather than exploring the city I would recommend you to go try out their chicken wings & sauces. Oh if it's a wednesday btw, it's buy one get one free so book your flight tickets for a Wednesday
