Easy access in the city centre. Great, friendly & helpful staff. On Friday 31/12/21, the receptionist stated no rooms were available in-house. The Duty Manager / Nuwan walked in and greeted me by my name, and stated to the Receptionist to upgrade me in-house to an executive room. Excellent service, Thank you! I will be back 🙂

Very happy with the room, cleanliness and pool facilities. Breakfast was scaled back to 3 cereals and bread you toast yourself. Immediately after NYE the occupancy went down so did the service. No restaurant or room service food available, bar next to the pool did not open and the breakfast went from request something off the menu to help yourself in a small room. I'd go back if it was a busier time of year.

Had a great stay here, pools excellent and our loft room was well equipped with plenty of room.Gym a little on the small side, but did have a good selection of cardio machines & fairly new. Location good, close to CBD, and E scooters outside to hire.

Great location and the townhouses are perfect for a small family and newly renovated. The aircons were dirty and full of dust so a good clean needs to be done. The back sliding doors didn't open properly and kept jamming up. For the over priced accommodation you would expect the doors to open. This was the same problem in all 4 rooms that we had. The pool area is fantastic and great range at the bar however it is to over priced, $10 for a can of beer is ridiculous.

Rooms were newly renovated and were very nice it was a joy to stay there. However the “terrace” was foul. Anyone from reception could see straight into our room from the terrace so unfortunately we just stayed inside. Kitchen was mostly fully equipped and it was handy to have a washer and a dryer too aswell as two big T.V’s. Only downside is I payed a $100 deposit and haven’t received it back yet. After speaking with the hotel I was told they would not be holding the deposit as the room was looked after. I waited 15 days now and after speaking with the hotel and bank it was noted that I would have it back between the 3rd-4th of January. Got in contact with my bank as it’s up to them to process deposits back into an account however they said there is no money authorised to go into my account. Sent an email to the hotel again but haven’t been replied to. This is disappointing as I’ve basically payed $275 for a small townhouse for one night. Apart from this the stay was lovely and staff are super helpful and kind! Merry Christmas and happy new year

Ok I have traveled across this country, and I can honestly say Travelodge Darwin is one of the best place’s to stay in Northern Territory The the pool bar is amazing, staff member called. Punkuj is amazing, and a. Total asset to the Travelodge team, always making sure you are felt at home when you arrived, as a fifo. Worker in shorts and tee shirt he go’s out of his way to give you a gold star service always, well done !! The bar is great to and the food !!!

This was booked for me on a work trip. Got in late evening. Booking had fallen through. Manager on duty Nuwan and the great receptionist bent over backwards to fix the error. I offered to pay for one night and get it reimbursed from my work. They didn't take it and let me in a room without payment and just said fix it in the morning and we're very polite. Rooms are newly built in this wing and very nice an comfortable. Great stay.

Very nice hotel and great staff. During our last breakfast there was barely any options, because apparently there was no chef. A bit strange because we paid the same amount for breakfast as days before, so should expect a worthy breakfast every day. Because of that, there were almost nothing to choose from. Location was great! But that's where it ended for us. The water from the tap was horrible and no drinking water supplied. We bought water daily to drink and for our coffee and tea. The beds and pillows were not comfortable and we did ask for different pillows but got told we couldn't be accommodated. Most of the staff were helpful. Due to lockdown, we had to stay in our rooms for 3 days but we had to ask for everything daily. There was no fore thought or planning in place for these situations, which should be, as covid lockdowns have been around for over a year now. We understand that Darwin hasn't had one for a while, but as hotel standards go, preparation for these situations should now be part of the norm. Guests should not have to ask for towels and toilet paper and milk and sugar daily. These should be replenished like they would normally, when not in lockdown. Remember, when guests are in their rooms all day they will need more water, more milk and sugar and tea and coffee and more toilet paper. Leave them at the door each morning during lockdown. Location of the hotel was perfect for us even in lockdown as we could still walk to the esplanade and gardens daily. Overall, it was a good trip but with minor adjustments and training we are sure the next trip will be a great one. ☺️

My second stay here for work, this time on a “Staycation package”, with perks like a 1pm checkout and $50 in-house purchase credit for 7 nights. Love the pool and its landscape architecture and bar (great cocktails)! Room was spacious and clean, no frills. The reception and bar staff were so nice, especially the manager (?) young woman of Asian descent and a Caucasian young female staff on night shifts. Would love to stay here again.

Rooms were very clean, just the electricity kept dropping out. Cups didn't get cleaned. If you are booking this place, book it online or they would rob you blind at the counter. The staff didn't provide any useful information for traveling and "to do" options in the city. The pool bar had only bottled beer and a few overpriced drinks. All just minor details, but good to keep in mind. Otherwise had no major problem. I'd book again for a more reasonable price.

It's old school but not fancy the rooms are 9/10 clean everything else is comfortable and clean. The halls are quiet the staff are quiet. Shower is amazing. Pool, pool bar, food delivered to you pool side more drinks brought to you poolside the sun the trees, oh the tranquility fully gated and private in the middle of Darwin it's under valued at $100 a night oh and it's Darwin grid no black outs ♥️

Fantastic hotel, rooms were modern and so centrally located, it was perfect. Had free parking on site too. Great clean and modern bathroom! Pool was good too, spa wasnt working but maybe because of covid (check with the hotel if thats important). There is a pool bar as well. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was fairly priced. Shout out to the reception staff, they were great to deal with.

Completing two weeks mandatory quarantine here. Room is comfortable and clean and the staff are very polite and accommodating. Food is also very good barring the portion sizes (also make sure you specify no fried food, you'll get much better quality meals). 3 stars because the Wi-Fi is absolutely rubbish, which reception even admitted to on check-in.

Was kind of apprehensive staying here based on comments I read online, however I'm happy to report that it was actually a very good place to stay when in the Darwin CBD. I stayed in the Novatel in Darwin during the same trip, and that was great too, but I feel travelodge was better in a few ways. Positives: Really good staff willing to go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. I honestly can't rate them higher for customer service. Two deep pools, quite deep. Note: We stayed on level 1. Beds - VERY comfortable. We had a renovated room, it had a shower with excellent pressure, coffee/tea facilities, air con, and new tv with Mirror Cast (which was great because we watched netflix from our phone), wifi (not fast, but it streamed netflix without a worry). Room keeping was flawless. They cleaned the room daily, replace coffee/tea supplies, towels, and made beds. They were very attentive to customer service. The location was perfect. Across the road from Woolworths, and only a road away from pubs and restaurants. Neuron zone, so you can easily grab an easy ride out the front. The gates are locked too, so makes it a little safer for your car though I would recommend NOT leaving valuables in the car. Feedback to the venue and prospective customers: Spas - not working. The man at the front counter said he'd report it to engineering, but he didn't. Lifts - well they are smelly and hot. Bar - very limited in what they have and staff not really grasping the concept of a poolside bar or customer service. Prices happy hour prices are more than the normal price of a beer. The rooms are not built with any sound proofing in mind. It's not that it's noisy, but you can hear the neighbors activities and comings and goings. It wasn't distracting to us but if you want a quiet room, ask for one and the staff will accommodate without a problem. The poolside sun beds could do with an upgrade. Well done Travelodge. I'll gladly stay with you again!

Couldn't fault the accommodation and staff. They all went over an above. We had an incident where another guest reversed into our car. Was an accident and they left all their details with the staff. Yes the rooms are a little outdated but I have never stayed anywhere where ALL the staff from the booking clerk, reception, kitchen, gardening and housekeeping treat you with real warmth and kindness. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. Thank you one and all for making a difficult time easier.

The Treetops restaurant had a very good breakfast and helpful friendly staff could not have been nicer. Our room was not cleaned really well and the beds were hard, the sheets were not changed until we complained after 4 days. Having requested disabled access we were given a room with access via sloped walkways which were quite steep when pushing someone and a long walk from reception. The staff were nice and helpful on reception but did not move us closer or really understand our need to reduce walking distances with a disabled mobility restricted person. The pool was good. The location and parking good.

Dated hotel, but very clean and the room we had was large. Pool nice, as was area around it. We were there for 9 nights and the spa wasn't working the whole time. No sign to indicate it was out of order. We only found out because we asked how to turn it on. Poolside bar & food good. Breakfast ordinary. We only ate breakfast there once, on our first morning. Excellent location. Within easy walking distance to the centre of the city and a little longer to the gorgeous Darwin Waterfront. Supermarket very close. Staff mostly friendly.

Good location in the CBD only a short walk to the waterfront and shops. The room was clean but very basic, a little bit old and in need of refreshing. You really feel like it's a budget hotel which yes I know it is but it's nice when you get more than what you pay for. Nice shower though!

Water pressure in the room poor. The shower took two minutes to get hot water on the second floor. Room size is good. Car parking is free with some undercover parks. Straight across the road from a supermarket. Relatively quiet part of town. Rate is quite respectable.

The townhouse set up is a good concept. Reception persons were very 'blank' and need to smile a bit a look as though they are enjoying their jobs. Rooms are very tidy and clean. Trying to order room service with an out-of-order phone got me a 'no charge' on delivery.

Rooms are nice enough, a little worn out but if you come to Darwin to stay in your room, you're doing it wrong! The pool area is really nice, though the bar is a little pricey. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants, and there is a Woolies across the road.

A great place to stay either for work or pleasure. Very family friendly with 2 swimming pools to cool down in after a hot Darwin day. An outdoor pool bar caters for all with thirst quenching cocktails, cold beers and spirits available. A restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner is also located within the grounds.

Nice large rooms and very clean. Pool open from 6am to 11pm which is far to long if you have a room overlooking the pool and you want an early night kids in pool screaming until 11.00pm not fair on older guests.

Pool was warm, reception was nice, rooms looked bad from outside but once you got in they were quite nice

Rooms are clean and tidy. Walking distance to ***y restaurants and site of Darwin. All the basics in the room, Staff we encountered were all polite and helpful. The happy our prices were good value. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back the next time we come to Darwin.

The pool is nice, closes at 11pm. The hallways on the ground floor smell of mold, though the music there is always very relaxing. When I entered the room the first time it smelled of chlorine, the bathroom was probably cleaned pretty well just before. The fridge made a high pitch noise, they were fast in replacing it for me, the new one made all kind of noises, we decided to call him Fergo. The hotel breakfast is not as fresh as one would like/expect (the eggs tasted like they were at least three days old, special request of poached eggs will prevent this). Breakfast closes at 9.30. Cleaning happens untill 2pm, but if they skip your door you'll have to inform reception that you want it cleaned. One of the guests in the outside separate section was having trouble opening the door for half an hour, I came to help but was unable, there was no power in the lock. Eventually personell came in to fix it, it took quite a while. Even though some other guests were able to open the front door (sliders) in the evening with their cards, ours never worked, but there was a button to reach reception. When checking out all initial kindness of the staff had disappeared, there was the question of money for breakfast, no thanks, see you again or goodbye whatsoever. The room was in an ok condition, the drain covers in the bathroom were all broken and loose, but all was clean. The walls are thin but it was quiet, though it was not high season. The music in the hallway is always very relaxing. I liked Travelodge but will not book again.

This is primarily an accommodation resort, with meals available. I went, with friends, for lunch (May 2018). The restaurant doesn't open until later in the year, so, only light bar-meals were available, adjacent to the pool. The menu was limited. Serves were a good size, and tasty, and reasonably-priced.

Not a flash motel but very well maintained .Common areas and rooms are exceptionally clean. You can book a room only or a self contained 2 story appartment.The staff are lovely and will spend time to help with any questions or request. Has 3 pools a restaurant, bar and meals hut by the outdoor area. If you do stay off season these areas may be closed (with the exception of the pools). Towels are Provided free of charge. Free WiFi !! Located on the main bus line into the city , harbour and main entertainment areas. There is a lot of building and road work happening all over Darwin so be aware when booking a room and request one on the other side of the building work. I do recommended this Travelodge.

On first impressions I was happy with this hotel. The pool is lovely and the rooms are clean and okay. I have to say though that is about where it stops. I got the quote on line but did ring to confirm the information about the hotel that was most important was correct. That being that I could get wifi in my room (yes but I would have to pay.) I am traveling for work and need wifi in my room and happy to pay. I have yet to beable to access to wifi and the staff have been unhelpful in trying to resovle this problem. I have been given a support number but as yet have been helped by the support at the external support centre as they haven't called back as promised. I will be returning to Darwin for work but not to this hotel.

We came to Darwin to Celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary. The Resort made our holiday very memorable with their outstanding service and professionalism. Centrally located, clean rooms, and beautiful pool. They allow early check in!!!! Nearly all flights into darwin arrive at 4/6am, and unless you want to pay for two nights at a hotel its very hard to find somewhere to stay. I have stayed at double tree, paid $130/night plus early check in fee of $60. And this was a discounted early check in fee for being a Hilton honors member. At the travelodge they just gave us their last room. We book it on agoda because it was cheaper, $92, plus a $40 check in fee. So it was $50 less than double tree, very happy with that :) I will come here again the next time I fly into darwin at an ungodly hour and need to rest for the day before my drive 12 hours south to my home
