Just went here. Food was delicious. Service is amazing. Staff were so lovely even after an order mix up. I hate paying for cups of tea out but it was perfectly steeped before it came to the table, leaves removed so I could drink the second cup without it being bitterly strong - loved that! So many yummy things on the menu that we had trouble deciding. Snowball biscuit in the cabinet 10/10 delicious. Can’t wait to come back.

Brunch fine dining, but in a comfy local sort of way. Exquisite food expertly combining rich flavours into unique dishes you (for the most part) wouldn’t find anywhere else. I had the triple cheese truffle brioche toastie and was blown away. The butterbings in the front cabinet are also to die for. And lovely service to top it all off. Just be warned - no split bills on the weekends.

Their dandan noodles absolutely blew my mind. It had a very complex flavor profile that complimented each other like a melody. The combination of salty from the pork mince with sour from the pickles and lastly sweetness from the sesame sauce. And a kick of spice from the hot oil. Hands down best dandan noodles I’ve ever had, I want to travel back to Hobart just for this cafe. Their smoked salmon bagel with dill cream cheese was also amazing. The bagel was so well toasted as the exterior was really crisp. The salmon was also slightly cooked with onions and capers, everything together was delicious. Can’t wait to come back

Nice cafe and setting and good coffee. Unfortunately, we had two iced coffees which we couldn’t use for a coffee loyalty card for (only got coffee allowed) which we totally didn’t get and seems a little petty, and got offered and given a loyalty card with no stamps. They also do not take split bills for big groups. Food is decent and a good mix for Asian fusion.

Great place to stop for lunch when in sth Hobes. We chose to eat alfresco on street front, sloapy table but wasn't a bother as nothing rolled off! Nice interior, dark colours and plants. Friendly waitress, happy to split order of bao bun onto 2 plates for my son and I to share. The peanutbutter tofu bao was the best thing I've eaten in ages, yum, *chefs kiss!!* My boys enjoyed old-fashioned vanilla milkshakes. The was coffee good and strong. Interesting fusion menu, lots I'd like to try, so will have to return 😊

The service was good and it’s a nice atmosphere. If you’re after a traditional bacon and egg breakfast, this is not your cafe. Eggs and toast were nice, but the bacon was sliced really thick and the potato hash was a crumbed fried rectangle of potato. I also thought it was overpriced.

Can only review about the coffee (didn’t eat there but food looks good). Ordered a flat white but ended up receiving 6cm or so of froth. Not what I wanted. Coffee was a little different tasting and not to my liking. Was over in a couple of minutes after navigating through the pillow of froth. Will return to try the food eventually but won’t be back in a hurry for the coffee.

Bear with Me is one of those cafes that make living in Hobart so good. Away from the tourist trade and full of locals, BwM delivers great food and a relaxed modern atmosphere. The food and coffee is great and they offer an Asian themed menu for lunch. Great service and reasonable prices.

Best Coffee I had in Hobart. The waffles and fresh seasonal berries/ fruit were great! The go to dish is the Haloumi Fries, get two serves!! Live your life!! Amazing staff, and little to no wait time. Parking was easy nearby on the weekend.

Went for a work breakfast. They were super busy, but handled it well. I had the breakfast salad with a side of haloumi fries, was very delicious, I was unable to finish it, so took it as a doggy bag, which the staff were happy to do.

We went here with a group of friends for a lovely breakfast. The place is beautiful and trendy. Amazing coffee and Hannah our server was the sweetest little gem and looked after us so well. We will definitely bear with them again.

Love. Coffee excellent. Food top, could have more vegan options, but haha... May talk to them about good Chai also hehe. Awesome humans who run the place and work there regularly, healthy good vibes. I love seeing the back crew cooking who genuinely look like they love what they are doing, which is not like a lot of hospitality places, where I actually don't feel comfortable being there because back of house are stressed out, opposite vibe, good vibes here.

Coffee taste really good. The service was great and staff are friendly. We ordered the french fries, it was really delicious though. Also, the bacon roll with avocado was just spot on! Will come back for sure next time. I think “Bear with Me” is one of the best cafe around South Hobart so far. Highly recommended! Easy to find! Car park might be a problem, but you can try park somewhere nearby there. Plenty table, also they do table service.

I do not take breakfast lightly and I can say without a doubt that was the best Cafe breakfast I've ever had in my life! I had the croissant with mushrooms and it was absolutely delicious - the haloumi fries were out of control and the special hash brown things were very strange but amazing so now I don't know how I will ever be able to go back to regular hash browns. Our waitress was Hannah and her service was incredible! She went through the new menu with us and made great recommendations. She was happy and friendly and really made the experience so much better. Everyones food came out at the same time so no one was left behind. I am in love with this Cafe and if I were to ever live in Hobart this would without a doubt be my new local! Could not recommend higher

Amazing food and attentive staff. My partner had the pork belly and claimed it was “the best breakfast he’d ever had”. I had the smashed avo and it was amazing. My kids shared the pancake and they were delighted. They also make great coffee. The cafe itself is a really trendy and has good ambience.

Awesome atmosphere, great coffee, and fantastic food. I normally order a long black, and struggled to find really good one in Tasmania. Bear With Me definitely hit the spot - they have a great barrista and carefully choose their been suppliers. And whilst coffee is good, their food is exceptional - I tried the Oyster mushroom omelette and the Eggs Benedict and was 🤯 The chef obviously took the traditional recipes for a spin and worked her magic on them, adding so much more Asian flavour. It was refreshing and super tasty.

A clean, modern decor with a professional, relaxed atmosphere. Even when this place is busy it's not too noisy, the background music is unobtrusive which is good if you want to talk to the people you're with rather than yell at them. A smaller menu than I was expecting, a little cheaper than I was expecting, and a great range including vegan and gluten free. The lemongrass and coconut chicken salad was a perfect mix of flavours and textures. Their tonic espresso is incredible. I can't stop thinking about it actually.

Food and service has been generally pleasant on the three occasions my partner and I have visited. However the coffee has been consistently a let down, as has the attitude of the young lady making it. I wouldn't normally leave a negative review about a staff member however she has been consistently unpleasant to deal with and seems to begrudge customers completely. Other than this, the venue itself is lovely and the owners are clearly doing most things right.

Bear With Me has a light fresh appearance that is perfect for the location. They have a comfortable living room style area at the front with a dinning area snaking around the left molded around where the fantastic food emanates from with speed and efficiency. The staff are lovely and work as a team to make sure your visit is a great one. I tried the breakfast salad with a poached egg and I was not disappointed by what arrived. I'm looking forward to visiting this venue for brunch at some point in the future.
