Beautiful little cafe with very friendly owners! Food and coffee is delicious and a good selection for your corner shop.

One of the best cafes in Hobart easily if not the best. Wonderful staff who treat you with kindness and are always going above and beyond for customer experience. They do some fantastic hot drinks and have a large range of breakfast and lunch menu items. Recommend eating in if you can since they have a downstairs sitting area. So plenty of room to have a nice social catch up with a friend or two!

Aptly named Gone AWOL sits in Barracks St, just near Anglesea Barracks, Hobart’s Defence Centre. The cafe is small and cosy with breakfast bar and a quiet dining room. Service was quick and friendly. Coffee was good and the food was simple, and straightforward. It’s nothing gourmet but for a quick lunch or coffee it hits the spot. Just don’t stay away from work for too long - they might think you have gone AWOL...

Fantastic service, music complements space which is real cosy , food is spot on and has those simple homily flavour's and the affogato is a must try you also get free flavour shot with it . If you haven't been I would highly recommend a visit .

Unfortunately my coffee order was forgotten. I had limited time for an appointment. Gulped down my coffee. Nice coffee will return just one of those mishaps. Maybe a refund re free coffee was in order🤔
