I love a good social enterprise. Staff are trying their best. I wouldn’t return for food I ordered but definitely for a drink.

Warm welcoming Cafe with a wood fireplace to keep things warm and toasty during the colder days. Coffee was offered upon initial sitting down which was great. Inclusive Cafe who focus on work experience which is another positive. Only downside is that after they took my coffee order there was no follow up to see if I wanted food for a good 20-30mins which I thought was bad considering people coming in after me were getting food served on their tables. I was almost about to pay for the coffee and grab food elsewhere when a waitress finally came up and asked if I wanted anything else. Hoping the ignorance of a customer was a once off.

Love it here and always look forward to coming back. Consistently good and innovative food great coffee. The folk who work here are lovely. The atmosphere is cozy and super relaxed. Indoor and outdoor seating and dog friendly.

A great lofty space, tucked away alongside the rivulet. With a truly awesome concept to support disabled community with work. A community concept cafe. Only tried the coffee- but the house-made almond milk was a great bonus! They also have their own veggies growing in raised beds out front. Wish I could go back and try the menu - which has great fresh and vegan options, and enjoy the place more!

Delicious wholesome food in a beautiful location at the start of the linear rivulet park. Very progressive too providing training in hospitality for young people. My favourite is the Buddha Bowl which has become a signature dish I think

This is my favourite Hobart cafe. The social enterprise focus is really an attraction, when you know that unemployed people are serving you. Everything has a friendly vibe. Great decor on the inside and with the Hobart Rivulet Linear Corridor Park just outside it is both an attractive urban space whilst also offering nature close by. The staff are amazing. This is where I go for my post run Saturday breakfast.

Really enjoyed going there. I really like the set up, was run really well and is helping those who would otherwise have minimal opportunity. We only had drinks, but thought they we we good. I had an affogato and the kids loved their strawberry milkshake, it wasn't sickly sweet. Would definitely go back again and try out their food menu, it look really appetising

Ordered my usual skim flat white small size with extra shot and wasn't disappointed. Great coffee. Has other food and their specials board was a nice mix of healthy and tasty. They even have their own Kombucha for $6. Staff are very good and attentive but very quiet. Hidden away but well worth a visit. I think I'll try food next time

After seeing this cafe on the ABC a while back I have been following these guys on social. This is an amazing project and congratulations to GM Emily for putting this together. My partner and I had coffee(soy latte), juices and two specials of salmon and scrambled eggs and the potato rosti and eggs. The food was amazing, so tasty and fresh and coming from Perth the prices we’re great compared to WA. The staff were delightfully, attentive and timely. Thanks for a positive experience and a wonderful breakfast. It’s nice to be inspired to do good.

Great food and coffee. I was also surprised to learn what Hamlet is all about when I read their website while enjoying my coffee next to the fire. The opportunities they provide says a lot about their ethos. I'd encourage anyone who visits to read some of the stories from their staff. I must agree with Jack's story, my experience was "Deceivingly satisfying".

What a great place. I was first impressed with the awesome building and how cool it looks, then realised their mission of helping people who may otherwise have trouble finding work, and then ate a delicious Buddha bowl and had a great coffee in a pretty pottery cup. Over 5 stars. I'll try to get here every time I'm in Hobart!

I'm a regular here and have never been disappointed. Best coffee in Hobart and the Buddha bowl is always a winner. Love seeing the people that have had difficulties entering the work force getting in there and having a good crack!

Situated adjacent to the rivulet park and the beginning of the South Hobart Rivulet Track, this café enjoys peaceful and family friendly surrounds. The food and drink is consistently made to a good standard and includes a few creative options amongst tried and true favorites. The social enterprise ethos is wonderful; using local produce and goods while helping people in need of on-the-job hospitality training. The service is carried out at a relaxed pace so I would not recommend Hamlet for people who want a 'shoot through' take away, but there is a table with coloring equipment and the nearby Park for parents who want to relax with the kids.

Delightful service, excellent decaf, double shot flat white (always a test of a good barrister!) and the blueberry coconut lemon slice was lovely but a tad too small for $6.50. It was hard to find and needs a sign on Molle Street as we drove around twice before parking and searching on foot. (People from out of Hobart, you see, don't always know Hobart very well). Only problem is that we are so used to ordering and paying up front that I left, calling out "Thanks very much" but had forgotten to pay!!! I bet lots of people do that. I will call back and pay when I am next in Hobart :-)
