I don't know what's in those coffee beans, but the brew here makes me hyper as can be - it's quite funny!! The coffee is lovely and the staff friendly; love the location as well - a dark, quiet vibe and perfect for people-watching :) I always have the macarons when I come here; the whole dessert cabinet looks wonderful and enticing!

Great service from the staffs, I am regular customer and they treated me well. My favourite coffee is caramel latte. On one occasion I would just be waiting in line and Ali and a lady at the counter saw me. They knew my order and when it is my turn to order and pay, my hot caramel latte will just be there waiting for me. Ps. This only happens when there are less customers not peak hours.

Great find good coffee You can always tell when the owner values and loves his own business by the way the food is displayed in the cabinet and how their staff engages and approaches you. The Cabinet is overflowing with sweet delights all fresh and nicely displayed. Service is efficient and a very bubbly smiling waitress takes your order. Its nice to see people enjoying the work they do and this young woman is certainly an asset to this business. The coffee verdict: coffee is a very personal taste and you get used to the brand of coffee you drink I personally would like a more robust coffee that's a little bit stronger however I cannot fault on the making of the coffee and presentation, this really is just a personal preference in flavour. This cafe managed not to feel like a shopping centre cafe and we pleasantly sat here for about an hour waiting for the appointment having just driven from Launceston. Certainly will try breakfast as it looks delicious and I noticed nobody left anything on their plates. Tables were quickly cleared, another indication of someone who cares not leaving dirty dishes all around their Cafe, which is my personal pet hate I gave it 4 stars this leaves room for imperfections as nothing is perfect in this world👼 Thank you Mez for the coffee. We will be back😁l

Been hear a few times always nice staff and good food. Everything is well presented and a variety of choice to pick from anything from sandwich’s and sweets that look delicious. The coffee hear is not bad at all especially the ice-coffee .

Went here for a quick coffee and dessert. It did not disappoint. I had the flourless chocolate cake and hubby had rocky road. They’re really good. They have huge selection of sweet treats and sandwiches! Coffee was okay but i love their cakes ☺️

I generally grab a coffee, but sometimes grab a toasty as well (I think they're call melts here). Both are great quality and tasty. I've always been able to grab a seat if I choose to dine-in too.

My husband and I have been visiting this establishment for over twelve months. We have an unusual eating regime but find that this establishment caters for our needs better than most. They are keen to please and their product and service is impeccable. The coffee is as good as any in Hobart and better than many. I would recommend to anyone constrained by time.

Had a house burger. This is a simple, two patty burger. They didn’t tell me there was onion on it (which I can’t have), even though I asked. They replaced it straight away though. Also I ordered my burger with GF bread and the bread was nicely toasted and tasted really good. Friendly staff and quick service, would definitely recommend!

Best burger I've ever eaten was the pina love burger I believe it's called. Yummy buttery brioche bun, perfectly cooked bacon, juicy pineapple, large slab of crispy chicken. Amazing! Staff are so friendly also, weird placement of store but can't be helped.

Worthy of five star's, they have an excellent choices of cakes and sandwiches and brilliant coffee to. Plenty of seating and the place is nice and clean. Highly recommended. See photos.

I was cold and this place has warm, comfortable seats. I like the hot chocolate here. I tried there macadamia white chocolate truffle cake thing. Slice was kind of wayyy too big compared to how it looked on display surprisingly - good if you want a lot of cake for your money. I think the biscuit base was packed to hard and would taste better with salted butter.

Great meals, great desserts & awesome unique burgers, lots of sauce on the burgers so if that’s not your style just ask for less because you wouldn’t want to miss out on their home made original recipe patties, chicken is great too, I’ve had one falafel burger which was a little over cooked and dry but the flavour was great so I was able to enjoy it regardless. I’m sure if I ordered another one and asked for them to make sure it wasn’t overcooked they would do just that. Love these people, one of my favourite places in Hobart for a treat yourself meal.

Can't say anything about the food or drinks (I got a hot chocolate - it was both hot and chocolate), but the staff was friendly, the wifi was reliable (although you may need to reconnect every hour or two), and there is an outlet (power point) behind the drink refrigerator. Public bathrooms are just outside the café.

(Translated) I ended up in the Mist Cafe when I was looking for the supermarket. In addition to free WiFi, there are also burgers. I spontaneously ordered a Swiss burger for coffee. For Hobart maybe a bit expensive but juicy and lots of sauce and extras. The staff was very friendly and relaxed, although only open for an hour. The atmosphere corresponds to a 1970 shopping arcade, meaning no highlight. The facility functional and functional. I didn't notice the pouring rain, but it was another reason for my stay. All in all nothing to complain about, although I always keep mushrooms out of place on burgers. (Original) Ich bin im Mist Cafe gelandet als ich den Supermarkt gesucht habe. Neben kostenlosem WLAN gibt es auch Burger. Ich habe spontan zum Kaffee noch einen Swiss Burger bestellt. Für Hobart evtl. etwas teuer aber saftig und viele Soße und Extras. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entspannt, obwohl nur noch eine Stunde geöffnet. Die Atmosphäre entspricht einer 1970 Einkaufspassage, sprich kein Highlight. Die Einrichtung sachlich und zweckmässig. Den strömenden Regen habe ich nicht mitbekommen, er war aber ein weiterer Grund für meinen Aufenthalt. Insgesamt nichts zu meckern, obwohl ich Pilze auf Burgern immer etwas fehl am Platz halte.
