Lovely Cafe, recently stopped here for breakfast. I had the Brioche toast and it was excellent, home made fresh fruit compote and the ice cream was home made as well. Service was super friendly. Seems to be a favourite with locals as well, I saw lots of people coming in for their take aways. Would definitely recommend 👍

Lovely spot on the Main Street of Beaconsfield, close to the Mine Centre. Easy parking nearby and a lovely shop frontage and easy access. Lovely open decor inside and if you’re in to cooking, an outstanding cookbook library (we found one that we will chase down and buy!). Terrific range of food - especially cakes! The chef is creative and really gourmet for a regional cafe. The coffee was excellent and service wonderful.

Made a quick stop here for breakfast before we went though the Mine and heritage centre and we were so glad we did. From the moment we walked in the staff were so nice and friendly they could see from the start that we were tourist and said they would help with any questions about anything. The hot chocolates were nice and the meals were good will definitely be stopping here again if we’re back in Beaconsfield.

Friend + I visited this busy cafe for lunch. The Lamb Shoulder with Feta and a Snap Pea + Corriander Fritatta were ordered. Both were seriously delicious. Good range if menu options ans I believe all the menu items are made on site, even the yummy sweet treats. Warm, welcoming staff, pleasant, tidy cafe that seats about 25-30 people. On street parking, no restrooms onsite (being built), but clean, tidy public toilets directly across the road.

Had a delightful brunch at Moon Lily Kitchen on our first day in Tasmania. We celebrated my Mum's birthday at her favourite cafe with delicious food and a beautiful cake to top off our morning. The hospitality was warm and friendly and I can see why Moon Lily is their favourite place to frequent.

We arrived 10min before closing time. The staff were very friendly and happy to serve us from food in the cabinet. We shared a piece of vegetable frittata and two homemade salads- an autumnal salD and a black rice. All dishes were exceptional. My husband had a milkshake which he claimed was one of the best he had had. Congratulations to the business on a job well done!!

Well what a breath of fresh air ! As I approached the entrance to the premises I was taken by the laid back feeling crated by the shabby chic decor. I had the trades roll for lunch as take away on my first visit. The service was very warm and welcoming. The roll was pita bread with bacon , two eggs and relish. It was of generous proportions and delicious . I went back for a second visit a day later and was just as impressed at the fare on offer. The store offers local produce like balsamic vinegar, walnuts, artwork and crafts. They had the sign in book for covid registration sitting in a well seen position . I will definitely be back again when I'm in the area.

Clean and very Covid safe as they make sure everyone has signed in. Great place to go for lunch after visiting beauty point. The lunch had interesting combination of flavours, fresh and filling. They also sell some Tasmanian goods. The ladies here are clearly passionate about good quality food they serve up. The maple and macadamia tart was ridiculously good. And they serve Valhalla Icecream too! Would definitely come back again!

Great food. Friendly service. Finally a cafe in the area that takes food seriously. Good quality produce cooked very well, and shows some inventiveness. The menu changes regularly with change of season, and provides good variety (no deep fried items). There always seems to be an interesting special available, and the home made cakes are wonderful. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

What a lucky find. Am Vegan and just experienced a delicious mushroom gnocchi. If you can serve such a dish, I think it's safe to assume the other dishes are also good. Good staff, nice coffee, and yum food. If you're driving through Beaconsfield, give them a go.

Absolutely clean premises with very efficient and friendly staff. The food and gorgeous cakes and pastries are ALL made on the premises and offers lots of "different" treats, combinations and tastes. It is family owned and operated, which gives it a more, 'solid' feeling, as though they care. Apparently opens 7 days - don't know how they do it and keep up the standard!

I want to give Moon Lily Kitchen and Cakes 10 stars!! We had our Christmas staff dinner at Moon Lily Kitchen and Cakes this December and we were unanimous in our praise of Aaron's cooking. The menu he made for us was absolutely mouthwateringly delicious. The food was top class and Lucinda was the perfect host. It is rare to find food of this calibre anywhere in the world and we have it here in Beaconsfield! Thank you for a superb night. We will be back for more!! Well worth a trip just for Aaron's cooking.

What a lovely find, fantastic food, fresh ingredients, good sized portions, and reasonably priced to boot. The atmosphere is chillaxed with a mixture of locals and travellers, and an inspired menu. I had the lamb dish served with vegetable purée and greens, and my wife had the chicken dumplings plate. Ingredients are local and some organic, and fresh to be sure. These folks care about the quality in the kitchen, and plating and service as well. We did not have room (in the belly) to have some of the delicious looking cakes, but we will be back for sure. I also enjoyed the coffee afterwards, as it is more 'old school' espresso: slightly darker roasted than the usual fare these days (coffeetea). Our stop there was 2 weeks ago, December 23, 2019, to be exact. Happy New Year folks!

We love this cafe. Its one of the best we've come across. Situated right next to the post office in Beaconsfield and still signed as the miners diner. Trading as the Miner's Diner this cafe has extended its hours and outdoor facilities in recent months. The lunch fare is delicious, especially the salad and Spinach/Feta Filo roll. Leaf tea for two is served in antique teacups and the menu is reasonably priced. There is enough here to delight any Miner's Missus as well as visitors and families on School Holidays.
